C H A P T E R ~ T H I R T E E N

Busan General Hospital 

After Hoseok’s ordeal, he got admitted into the hospital after the team discovered a big cut on his arm. “I don’t need to be here, you know that.” he tried saying

The whole team shook their heads. “Nope. The doctor said you lost a lot of blood from your arm ANd that you had leg injury. So therefore you’re here.” Hayi explained 

As Hoseok just smiled and shook his head, his phone began to ring. In a failed attempt to grab it, he quickly sat up but groaned in pain. “It’s ok, I’ll get it.” Sungjae picks up his phone and answers it without looking.

“Hello? Um he’s in the hospital. In Busan General. Um sure. Ok Bye.” he says putting down the phone

Being the clueless being he sat down just normally stretching. “Is there a reason why I can’t kill him?” Irene questions

 He looks up with a questioning look. “What?” He says as the rest of the group sighs

“I’m actually going to ing kill him. Who was on the phone ?” Irene asks on behalf of the rest of them

“Ohhh, I don’t know it was some female inquiring about Hoseok she said she’ll be here in a few minutes.” He explains

Hoseok looked at him confused. Female? Who could it be? Right then a knock on the door brought him out of his thoughts. “Come in.” They all answered

The door opened to reveal a familiar face. “Hey? Can I come?” It was Seungwan.

The group stiffened. “Yea for sure. Um guys this is Seungwan. My girlfriend.” He introduced

Seungwan looked at him weirdly and communicated through looks.

Girlfriend? We’re doing this outside too?

Please? They think i am a loser. I could really use a pretty girl's help.

Seungwan laughed. “Um yea. Babe why didn’t you tell me about this. You hadn't texted me since yesterday I was worried sick.” she acted

She intertwined their hands and sat on the bed. “Hi, I’m Seungwan,” she introduced herself and stuck out her hand to the obviously star-stricken group of people.

Hoseok rolled his eyes and cleared his throat taking the group of people out of their trance. They all nervously laughed before introducing themselves. “So are you guys his friends?” she asks while cutting an apple for Hoseok.

The group looked at each other confused. “We are childhood friends who lost contact and then somehow became co-workers.” Jimin explained confusing himself 

As they were talking, Seungwan became unfocused on cutting the apple and suddenly cut herself. “Woah Seungwan are you okay?” The group became concerned

Looking at them reminded her of her friends, though it hasn't been that long since they left she still missed them. “Yeah it’s ok, compared to the rest of my pains, this one isn’t that big.” She says immediately silencing the rest of them.

Hayi to cover up for the awkward atmosphere stood up. “Alright well our boss needs us, we can’t all be here resting because he got hurt. Come on, let’s go.” She says leading them out of the  room.

Seungwan smiled and waved goodbye. As they were leaving Sungjae hugged the door and cautiously looked back at the couple. Irene rolled her eyes. “What are you doing, you idiot? Come on let’s go.” she said while pulling him by the ear.

“Owwwwww Leave my ear, I’m coming!” Seungwan and Hoseok laugh as they hear Sungjae screaming down the hall.

Seungwan stood up and started making things comfortable for Hoseok. “Are they always like this?” She asked while putting a pillow behind Hoseok.

As he leaned back he flashed her a cute smile that made her heart flutter. Ok what in the actual hell? “Who Irene and Sungjae?” He questioned

She nodded. “Yeah they’re best friends, we thought they were dating but then we watched Irene continuously hitting him after he stole her cupcake and decided they would never be a couple.” He explained.

Seungwan smiled at his revelation. “So how are you feeling?” She asked while combing his hair with her hands

He sighed and closed his eyes. “Ahh I’m sleepy and my arm hurts. On top of that my leg is killing me” He whined

She laughed. “Ok you go to sleep. It’s late anyways.” she said as she turned around to push chairs back

As she turned back around she noticed Hoseok fell asleep. She smiled and patted him. Feeling tired herself, she sat in the chair right beside his bed and leaned on his bed and closed her eyes.

A few hours later Hoseok woke up and looked up in surprise to see Wendy still with him. He got up without disturbing her and put a blanket over her smiling.

Guilt is the thief of life.
