Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency

Since the night of the deal, the CBI has been working their asses off. One of their members was taken and there was no way the team would take this lightly. As they were working their head walked in. The 7 stood up and saluted. “SO what is happening with The Roulette? I heard Agent HAyi was taken hostage?” He asks

Hoseok being their leader stepped forward. “We were close to getting The Roulette but failed to do so, instead we got Jung Joonyoung and we’re hoping to get information from him. I apologize on the rest of the team for failing to get The Roulette.” He says waiting to get some sort of  backlash from the older.

Instead the older man patted the younger on his shoulder. “No need to feel pressure, I know you guys are talented and hardworking. Do your best and bring your partner home.” He said, smiling encouragingly.

Hoseok looked at him in surprise. He smiles and nods. “We’ll do our best sir!” He exclaims

The head looks at them with adoration and leaves. “Alright guys. It is interrogation time.” Hoseok says and leads them to the room that they kept Joonyoung locked up in.

The seven agents walk in on a bloody bruised Joonyoung, courtesy of The Roulette. “Alright let’s get this over easy Joonyoung.” Irene comments

They attach electronics to Joonyoung who is oblivious. “What does The Roulette plan to do with those drugs?” Sungjae starts

Joonyoung smirks. “I don’t know.” He comments

Namjoon rolls his eyes and pushes a button making Joon Young seize. “Let’s ask a different question. Where do the Roulette live?” He asks 

Joonyoung looks up trying to recover from the shock. “Why would I tell you?” He counters. A collective sigh was heard. “If you don’t tell us we will shock you five more times causing you to lose your life. Is that a good enough reason?” Yeri offers a sarcastic smile

The face of the criminal turned red in the span of two seconds. He gulped in fear realizing that they weren't joking and that his life is in actual danger. “Ok ok, I’ll tell you.” Hoseok looks over to jisoo and signals her to write while crossing his arms.

Jooyoung starts to spill. “The Roulette live and do all their planning at a place known as ‘The Abyss’ . I've been there once or twice. It resides in central Seoul near the Paradise club. That’s all I know.” He croaks out.

Hoseok and the rest head back to their workroom. “Ok Sungjae get me this address asap. All of you, we are going there tonight without the department knowing to tell The Roulette about The Javelin.” He tells them

“What if Hayi already told them?” Jimin asks

“Then it makes our job easier.”

The Abyss

The Roulette gathered in one room for an emergency meeting they would’ve never thought about. “Okay, let’s not freak out. What do we want to do about this situation.’ Seungwan calmly asks.

The group sat in silence trying to think of the different ways they could tackle this situation. “Before all of that, what are we going to do about Hayi?” Sooyoung questions Seungwan while discreetly looking at Hanbin knowing it’s a hard topic.

Seungwan who did the same looked at her group as well. “That’s not up to us. It’s Hanbin who should take care of that.” She decides

Hanbin broke out of his trance when he heard his name. “Oh right. I was a member of The Roulette long before being her boyfriend, so I think locking her up as a hostage is the correct thing.” He finalizes as he nods his head trying to convince himself that it’s the right decision

The rest looked at him with speculation but agreed once they spotted Seungwan’s look towards them. “Okay, then it’s settled. I’ll let Seungcheol put her in the room.” She says whipping out her phone.

The Roulette raised their eyebrows. “Seungcheol as in the kid we rescued?” Jungkook asks slightly weirded out

Seungwan gave them a confused look. ‘Yeah? Why not? He’s more useful than the rest of you.” She says as she sends him the message

At once disagrees came from all sides of the room making her laugh. It was funny how in any situation they were in they manage to always laugh. Being the mom he is Jin decides he’d be the one to bring the group back in to focus. “Okay guys let’s focus now.” He says immediately bringing them back, perks of being the oldest.

“Ok so what do you guys think their motive is?” Jin asks, prompting them.

“I don’t think they want to hand us in, to be honest,” Seulgi says making the group towards her.

“What makes you say that?” Jennie asks

Seulgi stands up from her seat immediately going towards the front of the room so the attention is on her. “Well based on what Hayi said last night, I did some research. Turns out The CBI was originally a team of 9 members and your man wasn’t their leader.” She said, pointing to Seungwan who rolled her eyes.

 “The original leader is Min Yoongi.” She continued. “He was killed by ‘The Enforcer’ who was sent by The Javelin specifically Max to Seoul. Max was behind it all. It might’ve been their intention to catch us when they first started but now it’s definitely to get revenge on Max” She said strongly

This throws the whole group for a loop. To them anything coming from their side is unbelievable. As they continued talking, trying to sort through the cons and the pros, Seungcheol came in. “Hey, Seungcheol. What’s up? Is everything good with your boys?” She asks

The sad boy looked down. “Um everything is fine, but Hayi is refusing to eat, to drink water, frankly to do anything. She is having a tantrum and keeps saying she wants to see Hanbin.” He says to the whole group who shift their focus to a serious-looking Hanbin.

Hanbin exited the room with Seungcheol trailing right behind him. He walked in on the exact scene Seungcheol described. Hanbin watched Jeonghan, Seungkwan, and Wonwoo try to get the girl to eat something while some of the others tried to restrain her.

Hanbin gets closer to Hayi who had calmed after spotting him. The boys let go and leave as Hanbin dismissed them. “What are you doing?” He asks her coldly

She looks into his eyes with her teary ones. “I needed to see you. I can’t stand to think you hating me.” She says trying to get closer as she cries

Hanbin closes his eyes and holds the girl by her arms. “Look I don’t know what games you’re trying to play on me but they won’t work. Now just eat and do what the boys tell you to do.” He says pretending to be unbotherd

Hayi fists his shirt. “I love you.” The three words he was afraid of hearing. “Will you really kill me if The Roulette tells you. Do you not care?” She asks

Hanbin sighs. “The Roulette is my family, you are a person that entered into my life a few months ago. I’ll do what they tell me.” He says and leaves

Hayi breaks down to the ground crying her heart out. “We don’t know what you did wrong but we know that you’re a sweet person who probably doesn’t deserve this.” Jeonghan tries to comfort her as the rest give her a group hug.

Hanbin on the other hand returns to the room. He glumly looks at his teammates before bursting into tears resulting in his friends to step out of their member positions and step into their family roles. “It’s so hard to hate her. She said I love you.” He reveals to s

“Oh no.”

“You poor thing”

They all gather in a group hug. “Everything will be over soon, I promise,” Seungwan says

The truth is everybody is going to hurt you: you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.
