Busan Local Station.
The two groups agreed on taking Huening Kai to the station the next morning. “Sir, we found him being beaten in the middle of the street during plain daylight.” Hoseok decided to talk on behalf of the frustrated group.
The police picked his teeth looking uninterested. “So? What do you want us to do about it?” He asked as if it wasn’t a big deal
They all looked at him in bewilderment. “Seriously? We told you a little kid is being abused and you’re just not going to do anything?!” Seungwan yelled
The police officer continued to look bored. “Look we have bigger cases on our hands ok. We’re trying to catch The Roulette, why would we waste time on some pesky kid who probably deserves to be beaten.” He said.
The Roulette shared a look. Was the CBI that was after them based in Busan?
Meanwhile the two groups tried to keep calm at the stupid comments made by the idiot police officer. “So what do we have to do to get this boy out of there?” Hoseok calmly asked even if he wanted to kill the man
The officer scoffed and leaned back into his seat. “You adopt him.” he said with no effort
The two groups looked at each other with hesitation.
Seungwan who had enough of this bull spoke up. “Alright, do you have the file for him?” She said sternly
Hoseok looked at her in confusion. “Seungwan do you understand what you’re doing? Adopting means taking care of him for the rest of his life. You have to be his parent. This isn't a rash decision to take.” He says
Seungwan looked back at her gang who gave her an assured look. “I don’t care, if it means taking him away from the abuse, I’m doing it.” She said seriously
The police officer came back with the adoption papers. Seungwan signed and gave it back.
The police officer rolled his eyes and gave the papers back. “You need a second guardian signature.”
Hoseok took the papers without thinking and signed it. “Here!” he threw the papers back
The police officer took the papers and sent it in. “Congrats you are now parents of this boy.” He said in a bored tone.
The two groups sighed and left the police station. “I want him to get fired immediately, get his info and send it in to our regiment.” Hoseok quietly tells Namjoon
The group walks back to the cafè. “Seungwan we need to go back to Seoul right now, we have some business troubles.” Jungkook gives her a look
Seungwan looks at him with a look before looking back at Hoseok. “Well I guess it was nice knowing you. I’ll Take Heuning back with me to Seoul. You have my number and everything, Just contact me when you come to Seoul to discuss the situation.” She said and hugged him while squishing Heuning in the middle.
Huening scrunched his face and wined in protest. “Mama that hurts.” He complained which made both of them laugh
Hoseok took Huening and gave him on the cheek. “Will you miss me?” He asked pouting
Huening out his arms around Hoseok’s neck and squeezed as tight as a 3 year old can. “Of course Appa! I’ll make sure Mama brings me here.” He assured
Seungwan smiled at the sight and looked at her gang members saying goodbye to each individual person from Hoseok’s friend group. “When did these guys become close?” She questioned in surprise.
He looked beside him to witness the same thing. “What the hell? This is actually weird.” He looks in bewilderment
Hayi latched onto Hanbin with her force. She didn’t know when she would see him again and the next time if she did see him, she might have to go into drastic measures.
Hanbin who didn’t understand this laughed. “Hey it’s okay Tiny. We’ll see each other again the next time you come to Seoul.” He soothed
She let go and caressed his face. “Be careful please. I want you to be in one piece the next time I see you.” She begged
Before he could say anything Hayi looked away to prevent him from seeing her face. Hanbin, who understood this, gave her a back hug before going to the car to get it started.
The rest of them gave a few hugs and fist bumps before heading back. “So are we ready to go?” Hanbin yelled at the rest of the crew.
They all looked out one last time and waved goodbye. “Yeah let’s go.” Huening cheered
As soon as The Roulette, the CBI took out their walkie talkies.
It’s go time.
