The Abyss

After the whole ordeal, The Roulette decided it would be best if they took the night off and chose to sit and converse with the boys they had brought in. “So what do you guys want to be when you guys ‘grow up’” Jin asked them

The Roulette groaned. “Ugh, why do you need to ask the most boring questions ever?” Jungkook complained to the oldest.

“Yeah ew ask them like their dating history or like who’d they marry and kill, not what they want to be.” Jennie told them

The boy group’s faces turned to horrified after listening to her suggestions. “Um, maybe we’ll answer the one Jin asked. Actually we all wanted to be singers. That’s how we all met actually. We were in one music program but then while practicing one day we got abducted and from then Jeonghan and Seungcheol became our parents.” Mingyu explained their back story

Seungwan smiled and gave the two mentioned a pat. “Jin knows how you feel. Our parents passed away when we were relatively young and he had to take care of us. The best parent we could ask for.” She said while back hugging Jin who smiled

“Ok guys let’s end this depressing stuff and do something fun.” Seulgi commented 

Taehyung walked in with a bottle. “How about spin the bottle?” he looked at everyone mischievously 

The rest of The Roulette looked at him with disgust. “Ew you’re disgusting we’re like almost family. How about doing the truth or dare it instead.” Hanbin suggests instead.

Everyone agreed but right as they wanted to start the doorbell rang. “Are you kidding?” Everyone sighed at the interruption

Jin pulled out the device that shows the people at the door. “It better be the food otherwise I’m going to scream.” Sooyoung commented

“Oh no”

They all looked at him with a weird expression. “What happened?” Seungwan asked 

Jin looked up to them with a serious face. “Ok I need everyone to get into their gear right now. Seulgi Jungkook get your protective gear, Hanbin, secure the locks and get Hayi, Jennie and Tae take the boys inside and wait for my cue. Seungwan we’ve got a problem.” He instructs 

As everyone goes to do their thing, they simultaneously don’t stop questioning what was happening. “Jin what happened? Who’s at the door?” 

The said man braced himself before answering. “Hoseok, his team

and Huening.” 

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Yeri asks her team for the nth time

Namjoon rolls his eyes. “Oh my god. I’ve told you before as long as we have Huening, they will not even think of hurting us.

Jisoo looks at them spectically. “Yeah but isn’t it too much that we’re going there with absolutely no backup? You do understand that we’re on our way to a ruthless mafia gang’s house with no weapons and no way to get back up. And on top of that it’s raining cats and dogs.” She says in an ‘are you serious’ tone

Sungjae looks through the window then back at the rest. “I don’t see cats or dogs outside.” He comments.

Jisoo this time looks at Irene. “Should I or will you?” She asks the annoyed girl

Irene put her hand up. “I’ll get it.”  she says and proceeds the beat the out of Sungjae with Huening’s stuff bear

The poor guy puts his hands up in protest to attempt to block Irene’s hits but fails. “Can you not use my son’s toys as a murder weapon and kill him when my child isn’t there. Thank You!” Hoseok says while taking the bear out of Irene’s hand.

“Guys you need to be quiet, we are approaching the destination.” Jimin softly told the group that was currently goofing off in the back seat while listening to SNSD songs.

They quiet down as they come near an old but modern looking building. They slowly got out being cautious of their surroundings. Hoseok on one side held a sleeping child. They aren’t that mad at them that they would kill them right in front of his son, right?

At a low pace they approached the door. Hoseok handed off Huenging to Irene and raised his hand to ring the doorbell. The bunch waited, hoping they weren't going to harm Hayi in any way and due to them being here.

They hear a click at the door and tense up. This was it. Their last chance at everything. 

The moment went by quickly, not giving time for anyone to grasp what was happening. Jungkook and Seulgi kicked Hoseok in the abdomen making him fall as Wendy held a gun to his head. “You people have a death wish if you decided to come all the way here. Joy take Huening inside.”

Irene stayed adamantly held the kid. Yeri attempted to hit the girl to throw her off focus but ended by being arm locked by her. “One chance that’s all we ask. We have no weapons or gadgets including phones.” Sungjae told them

Seulgi went up to each of them checking them one by one. After finding nothing she turned to Wendy and Jin. “It’s true, they’re clear. The only one left to check is him” She told them while pointing at Hoseok.

Hearing this Seungwan removes the gun. Jisoo helps Hoseok up and Seungwan runs her hands on him checking for weapons or gadgets. Hoseok seeing this smirked. Seeing that smile Seungwan gagged. The two looked at each other like two young children fighting over a candy.

Wendy looks at Jin nodding her head to let them in, but cautiously. As soon as they enter Seungwan takes her son into her arms peppering kisses on to his face waking the kid up. “Mama!” The youngling exclaims and wraps his arms around the girl.

Soon Jennie and Taehyung return with the boys behind them and freeze up at the sight of the CBI in front of them.

“Ugh, is he awake again Seungwan I put him to bed just like a few minutes ago.” Hoseok complained at seeing the wide eyed boy sticking his tongue out at him

Seungwan gasped. “Jung-Choi Huening, what did you learn while staying with your dad. Apologize.” She scolded the young boy who bowed towards his dad.

She turned back to Hoseok forgetting that she hated him. “What time does he fall asleep, I usually put him down around 8ish” She half asks the guy

Hoseok twisted his face to think. “Around the same time maybe at 8:15ish.” He replies

Jin lightly tapped Seungwan on the shoulder. “If you're done conversing about your child can we get back to the fact we are supposed to hate them and that they are the CBI that barged in on us.” He says raising a brow

Seungwan closes her eyes. “Right. Um Jeonghan, you can deal with kids and put them down right?” She asks slightly startling the boy.

Jeonghan lets out a sound. “Pfft that was practically my job at that horrible place, being the mom.” He says as he takes the young boy into his arms

“Thank You! Now let’s get to business. Why are you here?” Seungwan says turning around 

Jisoo steps out. “Before any of that, can we please see Hayi please?” she asks

Hanbin brought out the girl who had her hands tied up and a cloth in . Hanbin removed the cloth and loosened her ties. Hayi ran straight to her team crying in relief who had the same reaction as her and enveloped her in a hug. “Did you tell them?” Namjoon asked her to which she nodded.

They turned back to The Roulette who were looking at the scene with a bored expression. “Ok so are we going to talk about whatever is making you guys visit us at almost 9pm?” Jennie asked annoyed

“We need to talk about The Javelin.”

“Let the New Adventures Begin”
