The Abyss

After hearing what the Roulette had to say, the CBI didn’t know what they had gotten themselves into. The Roulette were filled with immense hate for the Javelin and that wasn’t going to change. 

Not that they were complaining but The Roulette was fixed on killing Max. “What happened to your leader?” Seulgi asked them. 

The CBI looked up and then at each other, silently communicating amongst themselves. “He was killed by ‘The Enforcer’ during our first mission.” Jisoo explained

Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Yeah we know that, we want to know how he was killed and what happened after. Or anything weird that happened.” he said with an attitude

Yeri tilted her head trying to think. “Well, the weird thing is that we never saw his body or had a funeral for him.” She told 

The Roulette looked at her weirdly, Jin opened his laptop and speedily typed. The CBI looked at him with a confused look. “Why are you guys acting like that?” Namjoon asked 

They receive silence while Jin continues typing. Jisoo stood up and went to his side, interested in what he was doing. “You’re hacking into government files?!” She exclaimed while he waved her off.

“I do it all the time. It’s not a big deal.” 

He stood up and turned the projector for everyone to see. He pointed to their leader’s profile. “When a person is deceased, no matter their profession, they have a death certificate. You people are technically government officials so for you people there should be a stamp to indicate that you are dead. When I searched Min Yoongi in our country's deceased list he wasn't there. Mind you this list is updated from time to time. If your leader ‘died’ just a year and half ago he should be here. And there is no stamp nor is there a certificate.” Jin explained

The group of individuals stared at him with no expression. Jin went behind Seungwan, weirded out by their reaction.

“So you’re telling us Yoongi might still be alive?” Jimin asked 

Jin shook his head. “I’m saying there is something fishy with this. Either someone in the Police is working with Javelin to cover up his murder or he is infact alive and in captivity.” He suggests.

“A year and a half in captivity?!” Hayi exclaimed

Wendy decided it would be a good time to step up. “Look it would be a good idea to check with your head or whatever to know if the Javelin’s minion actually killed your leader because if they didn't then I really don’t wanna deal with your asses.” She said not really giving a .

Hoseok rolled his eyes. “You know for being a mafia boss, you’re being so nice right now.” He says sarcastically

Seungwan who caught the tone scoffed. “You better watch it four eyes, you came to us for help. If you act up, I can shoot you right here.” She snapped at him

“I ing dare you to try.” He challenged 

Seungwan stood up grabbing her gun while Hoseok simultaneously stood up. Before things could get ugly Jin and Hanbin managed to bring her back while Irene and Jimin held Hoseok back. The tension was thick as neither group wanted to talk to each other.

Soon the silence was cut by one of the rescue kids The Roulette had saved. “Um it’s probably not our place to interfere but could we say something?” Wonwoo asked

The adults gave a soft expression looking at the kids. “Yeah go ahead.” Hanbin urged

They came closer and stood in front of the two groups. “We understand something might’ve happened between you two but we wanted to say that what you guys are doing isn’t only revenge for you but all of us. And we really appreciate you taking him down.” Seungcheol said which genuinely made the 16 people in the room reevaluate their intentions.

Seulgi smiled and patted Seungcheol silently dismissing them before turning back to the group. “Ok, this isn't the time to be childishly fighting. The Javelin has done really bad things for which we 16 have experienced first hand and so did those kids. If we’re doing this, then we’re doing it right.” SHe said

Jimin stood up. “She’s right. We can’t be fighting when we should be getting to the bottom of this. We need to figure this out before other kids and/or people are killed or sold.” He backed her up.

Seungwan told them to sit down before standing up herself. “Fine, if we’re doing this then we might as well start this right now. The CBI, properly find out what happened to Yoongi.” She quickly said to one side of the room before turning to the other side.

“Alright gang. It’s time to switch the notch up. No more lazing around. Jin continue hacking into the Javelin file you found to try to find out something. Jennie, Sooyoung, and Tae get everything ready for the Afinitor deal. And I mean everything. Seulgi, and Jungkook get into contact with our Japan, China, and Thai partners immediately. Hanbin, you and I need to go through the old files from the day of the murders.” She instructed.

The CBI looked disappointed at the lack of work they received. “We can do more than just inquire about Yoongi’s death.” Yeri told them

The Roulette looked at each other and smirked at them. “Alright fine, if you think you can do more. Go interrogate Choi Youngjae.” Taehyung said as he raised an eyebrow.

Hoseok’s jaw dropped as he heard that name. “How do you guys know about Youngjae?” He asked.

Seungwan shrugged. “We told you before, we’re one step ahead of you. I suggest half of you ask your leader and the other half deal with Youngjae.” She said getting back to the group.

Hoseok stood up. “You didn’t answer my question. How do you know about Youngjae?” He asked more sternly

Seungwan deeply sighed. “When Jin was trying to find details about Yoongi he stumbled upon multiple pictures. When he researched further he found out that the two were in a relationship. Clear enough?” She asked sarcastically before addressing the rest of the Roulette who had openly been watching them.

Well we aren’t waiting for Christmas, let’s get going.”
