Moonlight Melody

The two groups stood at once. “You have a boyfriend?!” Hanbin yelled

Seulgi hit him in the arm. “, that’s not even important. She has a child!” She yelled setting off The Roulette to all speak at once.

“I’m your child!” 

“You had a baby in 2 weeks!”

 

“Is that your secret child?!” 

Seungwan got annoyed. She passed the child to Hoseok and walked up to them. “Hayi, can you go help Hoseok, he still has problems with his leg. I need to talk to my family.” She said and dragged them into her room in the cafè.

Seungwan started at them. “When the hell did you guys get here?” she asked in surprise 

The Roulette sent daggers her way. “When the hell did you get a boyfriend?!” Hanbin asked once again

Seulgi slapped him again. “Again the wrong thing to worry about. She has a ing child.” She pointed out

They all started complaining at once.

 Seungwan covered her ears. “STOP!!” she yelled making them shut up at once

Once a Leader, Always a leader they say.

Seungwan folded her arms and leaned back on her desk. “First off I don’t have a boyfriend nor do I have a child.” she starts off

Taehyung pointed at her accusingly. “I call bull!” he yelled

This time Seungwan rolled her eyes. “I’m serious Tiff thought me and him were dating, and we had to play it off, otherwise you know her.” She explained 

The Roulette looked half convinced. “I don’t know how I feel about this.” Jennie said, looking suspicious.

Jungkook joined her. “Yeah Wen. I saw these people at the club the night of the RR drug deal. I have a funny feeling.” 

Seungwan sighed. “Do you really think I would get a boyfriend and not tell you? Especially after the whole Chanyeol is gay thing? Also I know. The first time I met Hoseok was at the club too. He told me in one of our conversations that they had gone to the club that night as a let go. Come on guys.” At that moment The Roulette was sold. If their leader is trusting then they should be too.

“What about the kid Wen?” Jungkook asked sulky 

Seungwan smiled and went up to him. “We found him being beaten up by grown up and found he was being abused by his orphanage.” she said pinching his cheeks

They walked out to see Huening Kai crying. “He said he wanted ‘mama’ but we didn’t know what to do or who he was talking about.” Yeri said

Huening Kai jumped off the couch and ran crying to Seugwan, who picked him up. She realized he was trembling with fear and worry in her arms. She looked behind to her members who didn’t know what to do.

Seungwan held him tighter. “Hey, I need to go get you food, I promise I will be back. Until then is there someone you want to stay with?” She coaxed

The little boy nodded. “Well who do you want to sit with?” She asked calmly

The boy turned around in her arms and pointed at Hoseok. “Appa!” He yelled shocking everyone

Hoseok’s eyes widened and looked at him with pure fright. “Me?!” He said pointing at himself

Huening Kai  nodded and made grabby hands at him. Seungwan who tried holding back her smile, passed Huening Kai to Hoseok who still looked dazed. 

Seungwan went into the kitchen of the cafè, followed by the rest of her members. “Why is this kid suddenly calling you and that other dude mom and dad?” Taehyung questioned while grabbing a cake out of the freezer.

Seungwan continued to make a sandwich and hit Taehyung’s hand. “That’s for customers, and I don’t know he looks pretty traumatized. Hoseok and I were nice to him maybe with that he got attached. Also Jin I need background info on him, do you think we’ll be able to get that?” She asked and went out into the hall to witness Hueing laughing in the arms of her boyfriend.

Seungwan immediately had a smile on her face, she took the young boy and fed him. “So what’s the plan with this little guy?” Hayi asked while pinching his cheeks.

Seungwan sighed. “Well I know for a fact that I don’t want him to go back to that orphanage. Jin is getting information on him right now.” She said.

As she mentioned him, Jin came through the door. “I got it. But it’s not good, are you sure you want to hear this.” He warned with sad eyes

Seungwan put Heuning Kai on the floor who played with the table’s center piece and held Seulgi’s hand as comfort. “Well his name is Kai Kamal Huening and he was born into an abusive family who tortured him until the police found him at 2 years old when he was almost beaten to death and sent him to an orphanage who became even more abusive.” He said in dejected voice

The whole group gasped and looked at the young boy with pitiful eyes. Why was life so cruel to innocent young children? Even if The Roulette’s parents were involved in mafia, they were the best parents anyone could ever have.

Seungwan put her face in her hands. “What the hell are we going to do?” She was exhausted.

Jennie put her hand on Seungwan’s shoulder. “We’ll find something out. We’ll make sure he doesn’t have to go through anything for the rest of his life.” She promised 

The true character of a society is revealed in how it treats its children.
