On the way to the Abyss

The Roulette stayed in silence as they headed back to the Abyss. Seulgi, Joy, Jin and Jungkook tried distracting themselves by talking to the young boys. While the rest remained in deep thought. Seungwan didn't let it bother her. Her main priority right now is her son.

Hanbin watched the girl beside him who was sniffling. He wanted to caress her, tell her that everything would be okay. But everytime he thinks of what she had done, what she had kept from him, he takes a step back.

Jennie and V on the other hand were having a mental breakdown. “Guys don’t think about it too much. I told you guys we shouldn’t have trusted them too much.” Jungkook comforted them

Seulgi couldn’t help feel guilty of what had happened. “I’m sorry, this was all my fault. If I didn’t tell you guys to let your guard down all of this wouldn’t of happened” It was true, Seulgi told them to be free and in the end all of them got horribly cheated

Hayi who was hearing all of this couldn't hear all of this. She nudged Hanbin. “What!? What do you need?” He snapped at her. Hayi swallowed her tears and gestured at the piece of cloth tied around . “Joy take out the cloth, the traitor wants to say something.” Hanbin says pissed off

Sooyoung takes out the cloth and Hayi exhales. Everyone’s eyes were on her waiting for her to say something. “I understand you guys are mad, but I would like to explain something. Please?” She begged.

Seulgi, who wasn’t really mad at the CBI, urged her to go on. “Please believe us when we said this was all because of our profession.” she said making them all roll their eyes

“Aren't you tired of saying that same lie over and over again?” V growled at her 

“You guys aren’t letting me finish. We were all going to quit.”

Flashback to the night before:

“I can’t do this guys. I’m totally in love with Jennie. And I don’t see their fault in anything. The Roulette is The Robin Hood Seoul needs.” Namjoon said frustrated

“I agree I don’t think I can live without Taehyung, I mean what bad thing did they actually do except for drug deals?” Irene backed him up.

“Joy brings me Joy. Do we wanna just veto this case and go back to Busan?” Sungjae said, gripping his hair unable to think of anything better.

“Yeah Jungkook has been disturbing me too. I don’t want to do this anymore.” Yeri gives her opinion

“I like Jin and that might mean I won’t do the case. And all of them are too sweet.” Jisoo turned to everyone.

“I lost interest in the case and more interest in Seulgi. Sorry.” Jimin apologized and shook his head .

“Hanbin and I have also been talking about making things officially. And that means I’m not doing this case”

Hoseok looked at the rest of the team. “Look guys. I understand how you feel and I’m crazy about Seungwan, but I found out something that might want to make us stay with the case.” He said, attracting their attention.

Jimin scrunched his eyebrows. “What is that information?” He asked

Hoseok stood up from his seat. “Well remember our first mission? ‘The Enforcer’?” he asked

They all nodded, it was when they lost Yoongi.“Apparently The Enforcer was just a branch of a bigger Mafia chain that The Roulette and their alliances aren’t a part of. This Mafia Chain is run by one group called The Javelin. Not many know of their existence, not even the police. The Javelin is run by Shim Changmin under the alias of Max.” He reveals

The rest of the group looked at him in shock. “You’re kidding. If no one knows of him then how do you know?” Jisoo questioned

Hoseok lets out a breath. “Well when I was with Wendy in her room, I noticed a book under her pillow she forgot to hide. So when she went for a shower, I took pictures of her notes and studied them later on. They are connected somehow and The Roulette is out for The Javelins blood. But I don’t know why. If we want to avenge Yoongi, then we need to do the reveal tomorrow and tell them.” he answers

Everyone agreed. “That’s fine and all but we know for a fact that they’re not going to be happy tomorrow. How are we going to tell them when they rage.” The youngest perks up

“I’ve got a plan for that too. And that’s when my son and your nephew comes in. When Seungwan finds her, she'll want to get Huening back. When I give him, I‘ll explain to her our situation.” 

…

As Hayi told them, The Roulette looked at each other. “We only wanted you guys so we can know more about The Javelin. He’s the reason our Leader and beloved companion died.” She says as she finishes.

Seungwan looks at Hayi. “How can you think we would trust you guys after everything?” She asks

Hayi shakes her head. “Because we know about The Javelin. We know about Shim Changmin. We want revenge.” She explains

Seungwan rubs her temples. “You know what, it’s too late for this right now. We’re going to have a meeting about this tomorrow and Lee Hayi if my son has one scratch on him, I’ll make sure you pay.” She threatens.

Soon they reach the Abyss and everyone gets down except for Hayi who felt light headed due to pressure and anxiety. As she tries to get it, the young woman loses balance and falls right into the arms of Hanbin. Seungwan knows it's hard for the guy and pats him on the shoulder. “It’s okay. She seems like she loves you.. Don’t feel obligated to feel a certain way because of us. If they hadn't noticed, the rest of our members already forgave them.” He listens to his best friends but looked at her puzzled at her words

Seungwan laughs. “Come on, didn’t you see how their faces lit up when Hayi told them that their partners were in love with them?” She says as they watch their friends go in with the boys

Hanbin looks at their leader and his best friend. “What about you Wen?” He asks

Seungwan’s smile slowly fades into anger. “I need time. I still hate him and want to kill him, but that’s only for him.  But if it means we get what we want in the end then I’m willing to do anything.” She says darkly

Seungwan heads in and Hanbin looks at the girl in his arms soundly passed out. “What are you doing to me?” He whispers
