Kyungsoo struggled to take the tape off his mouth. When he did the feeling stinged and his lips felt sticky. Kyungsoo looked at Suho and Haeun the menacing duo had managed to bring him in front of the man he never thought he will see again. Maybe in his dreams he would. 

"Can you leave us alone?" He asked the other two. He was tired of people making decisions for himself. His brother , Suho , Haeun they all had their reasons to get involved in his life but he wanted to get some control back. Suho grabbed the little girl and they disappeared inside the house. Kyungsoo noticed Jongin's disapproving stare at his clothes.

"What are you even wearing Kyungsoo?" 

"I was going out with Baekhyun" Jongin just ignored the answer to his question and the mention of his brother and continued to stare at him. Kyungsoo was already aware he looked very different from what Jongin was used to see him like. While in his strict attire Jongin's stares never failed to make him feel excited dressed like this he felt embarrassed.

"You were going to let strangers see you like this?" He sounded tortured by the thought of Kyungsoo meeting up with other people.

"No i was… you know what, it doesn't matter. What i do is none of your business!" 

"Are you sure about that?" Jongin got closer. Kyungsoo felt the familiar tension rising up between them. He missed it. The flattering of his heart could prove his feelings for the other man were still too strong. They were too much for him to handle.

"I am sorry, you were right about Baekhyun. I am so sorry…"

"I don't care about that" Jongin interrupted him , his tone indifferent to his apologies. Kyungsoo was too caught up in his feelings to let it go.

" You should care. You should put on a fight. You shouldn't let all those lies to be written about you. You should do something"

"But that's the thing. This time , what was written about me was true. I took advantage of you. You were working for me and i shouldn't have chase after you the way i did. But i did it anyway" Jongin was pointing out all the facts of their relationship that were true but that was only the surface. Kyungsoo heart had fallen deeper than that.

"I wanted you and you wanted me. At least that's what i thought. Did you change your mind?" He asked nervously.

"Of course not i will never regret it Kyungsoo. I will never regret being with you that night or … anytime." The look on Jongin face was really intense Kyungsoo was captivated. He tried to remember when he had seen Jongin looking at him like this. And then he remembered. It was that night when Jongin was deep inside him that his eyes was filled with the same emotion. 

"I wanted to resist you know. To fight back at the twisted fate that caged me" Jongin said with a quiet voice the same gentle tone he used when he talked to Kyungsoo about his past. "I cared a lot but i thought i was living with dignity. When i distance myself from the problems i called it self-sacrifice. But it never got better. I never thought that rumours and lies would cause me so much. I wasn't thinking so this is my fault in the end, right?"

"You aren't a great guy Jongin. You are rude to others, you act like a child when you want something, you get too passionate too quickly for things you don't even know. You have issues but you ain't that bad."

"Kyungsoo you don't have to be make me feel so special" Jongin said with a sarcastic smile. Kyungsoo moved forward and pointing a finger at Jongin's chest. 

"You really need to change your life. You live like a hermit in the end of the world far from everyone. Why? Because you are scared? Boo-hoo people hate you, they are so mean too little Jongin. What are you still a teenager that can't defend himself?" 

"Kyungsoo i don't know how to be anything different from that monster people see in me" Kyungsoo heart was pounding fast and he couldn't hold himself back anymore.

"But i don't see that! I see you Jongin. I see the person in you. The person who works hard at a young age. A person who takes care of a child that's not even his own. A person who was hurt and still is. Cause you are a person Jongin. Nothing more and nothing less and you should love yourself just the way it is!" The words made Jongin heart warm. He didn't even realize he was smiling like a goofball until he felt the shake of his laughing through his body.

"Your heart is so kind Kyungsoo. You treat me nicely, you treat everyone like that. You put others above everything else. From the moment you came here you have given all of yourself to take care of my niece. You say i should love myself but honestly i am too busy loving you. You are incredibly Soo" Kyungsoo heart stopped for a second. He felt his breath cutting short . He felt hot and cold at the same time. It was such a huge shock to hear Jongin confess his feelings to him. Maybe he was getting sick and he lost his hearing abilities. But that was impossible. It could not have been a lie or his imagination cause then why would he suddenly feel so freaking happy.

"If you love me you need to promise me you will change" Kyungsoo found himself saying but he didn't know were all this confidence was coming from.

" I will do anything" Jongin replied quickly. Too excited when he realised Kyungsoo hadn't rejected his feelings.

"Alright first of all you need to call your lawyers and tell them to handle the media scandals. Kim Jongin is who he is and he is done hiding himself."

"Okey" Jongin was so bright . So full of light and joy that Kyungsoo had forgotten it was night in the world.

"After that you are moving into the city. Haeun will attend a real school and she is going to make annoying little friends and have fun doing terrible things like the little devil she is. Cause you can't keep her away from the world forever Jongin she is going to hate you." Jongin had to expect that even in a time like this Kyungsoo would think of Haeun first. Kyungsoo's love for his niece was one of the reasons Jongin had fallen for him after all.

"I know and i am going to do better raising her. I will do it myself this time. Unless you wanna help out?"

"I wouldn't leave her to you i haven't gone mad yet" Jongin pouted at the comment but he was only faking it.

"Is there anything else?" Jongin was now teasing. They both knew that there was an important matter to be discussed between them but Kyungsoo wasn't giving in so easily.

"There is also Suho" Jongin was confused with the mention of his best friend.

"What about him?" Jongin couldn't help but notice a playful smile that spread on Kyungsoo's face.

"He does so many things for you , you need to show him more appreciation."

"I pay him a lot of money" Kyungsoo rolled his eyes at that and he couldn't help but wonder why he was even trying with Jongin.

"I was thinking something like opening up to him. Give him some compliments" Jongin knew Kyungsoo was just playing around but he was making some good suggestions maybe he should be nicer to people around him. He thought of what his old friends reaction would be if he actually praised him and a joyful laugh escaped his mouth. Kyungsoo laughed in response and Jongin eyes were immediately drawn to his lips. Kyungsoo noticed that his face turned red but he didn't move away.

"What else?" Jongin asked while his voice dropped and his breath fanned over Kyungsoo.

"What are you going to do with me?" Kyungsoo needed to know what was going to happen to him if he let himself fall for Jongin. Not that he hadn't already fallen.

"Concur the world! What? We could do it! I can do anything if i have you with me. But without you… I can't leave without you. I need you" the words were too much. They sounded funny to Kyungsoo who hadn't heard before anyone so foolishly in love. Maybe this is it? There were doubts but there was also hope and Kyungsoo wanted to believe him.

"You're all talk" Kyungsoo had more to say but his mouth was suddenly captured by Jongin in a tender and passionate kiss. Jongin broke the kiss minutes later. He took a deep breath and his lips looking at Kyungsoo with an incredible look he wasn't going to forget very soon.

"Your mouth tastes like glue" he said smiling sweetly

"Shut up" 

I am not marking the story complete because i want to write an epilogue as closure to the story and all the characters.
