Shadowed
Description
Smiling, what's that? Laughing? Define it for me. Happiness? I had not feel that for a long time. 2 years had passed since I last left my house. Two years of food delivery. Two years not interacting with anyone. I had no one, I had nobody, after he decided to cheat on me.
Staring became a regular activity. All I had to do was just feed my pet puppy Kuma, and I can peacefully head back to staring. I had no income; I have no clue who paid the bills and rents for me. But why I am still alive today, when I have the ability to end my miserable life?
It was all for another person. A person who actually made some effort to care for me. A person who looked after me. A person who kept me acompany. A person who shadowed me, everyday of my life.
Call me crazy, but I think i've found another reason to live, because he will always be there, waiting for me to leave this house. The house that held many painful events, and secrets.
And there I go again, staring up, at the wall again.
I would always waste my time on thinking back about our past. Why did I chose him? Why did I fell for him? Was our relationship was a mistake? I left my only blood-related brother in other to defend our love, but he went out every single night, sleeping with another chick, just like that.
The first time I met him, I was fully a . He was my everything. He had my first kiss, he was the one to make my knees feel jello, he was the first man to ever show me such affection, but he ended up betraying me for some other person.
Maybe, just maybe, I'm too obsessed?

She slowly clicked the door open and immediately covered her palms onto her face, not familiar with the Sun's rays yet. It was 10 in the morning, and her pet puppy dearly needed to walk out and see the Sun. Emily had finally decided to leave the house, and took about half an hour just to decide what to wear.
She slowly walked across her small lawn and opened the small white gate outsid her house. Behind, a small puppy appeared, waggling it's tail happily, happy, that she could go on a walk with her beloved owner, finally. If animals could talk, it would have been months back that Kuma would nag to Emily onto leaving the house.
Emily, being the socially-awkward person that had not made contact with any person since the past two year took small tiny steps away from the house and glanced back for a moment.
Wow, i've been living in there for the past years? She asked herself.
She averted her gaze away from the white house and tried her best to walk normally on the sidewalk. Kuma, who was already familiar with the streets, lead Emily to a park nearby.
It was already Spring. Emily thought. She looked around at the blooming Cherry Blossoms and smiled to herself, glad, that she chose today to walk out of the house. She sat on a bench beneath an Oak tree and wathed Kuma run around the park freely. Emily looked around and saw a small stream running by the park and thus, she made her way towards it.
How lovely. She said to herself as and Kuma made their way back to the old white and gloomy house.
"Tap. Tap. Tap." Small, hesistant footsteps was heard from behind, trailing her and Kuma for a while now. Emily picked Kuma up from the ground and turned back, only to see a back of a man turning the other way round. She smiled to herself knowingly, already knowing who it would be.
Her stalker.
Oddly enough, she had never seen his face, and strains herself from doing so, because everyone has a reason for keeping things as a secret. There were times when she really did wanted to know who this secret admire was, but let it go a second later. One day, she tells herself, One day, he will reveal himself, when he's ready.
She liked being stalked, she liked being followed, she liked it very much to know that she's shadowed.
"Hey Kuma, you want to know something?" Emily voiced out as she set the puppy back onto the ground. The puppy, in reply looked at it's owner with curious eyes. "Everyday after today, we'll go out and move on with life." Emily made her decision, as her puppy barked heppily, in reply.
And here it begins, the story of a girl who is always being Shadowed.
