“As you may already know, I am not the official instructor for this class,” said Taehyung, still looking at Yejin, “but, Dr. Kim had to go back home to Ulsan last minute because her mom was ill,” finally took his eyes off the girl and actually scanned the class, “since there is no other instructor that are able this hour, I am going to sub for her until she come back, which I assumed would probably be next month or two,” he said as he took the pile of course outline to pass it to the class.

“On this outline, you can find my office and my email written next to Dr. Kim’s. So if you have any questions, shoot me an email or visit my office until Dr. Kim is back,” he explained further. “By the way, I have a student that I need to talk to,” he said, going back to the podium to look at his note, “Song Yejin?” he said, pretending to find her among the students.

Yejin looked at Eunmi who gave her the ‘what did you do’ face. She slowly raised her hand, all the attention went to her. “Ah, yes. Meet me in my office after class,” he said casually and then went right into the lecture.

“Are you already in trouble on the first day of the semester?” Eunmi teased. “Shut it. I don’t even know why he called me,” Yejin whispered.

“Oh my God,” Eunmi squalled, “how can he be that cute?” looking at dreamy Taehyung who was seriously lecturing.

“Ew, stop. You have a boyfriend,” Yejin whispered.

“I know, but even my boyfriend is crazy about him,” Eunmi said smirking at Yejin.

“You guys are weird,” Yejin gave her unpleasing look. The lecture went by pretty fast, though it was rather distracted by the lecturer himself.

“Yejin-ah, should we go out for dinner later?” Eunmi asked her while packing up their stuff. Yejin immediately agree because she’d rather eat with her best friend than being at home, maybe having her food thrown away again. They agreed on a restaurant and they’ll meet at 7.30.

Yejin went to Taehyung’s office after she took separate ways with Eunmi. She was kind of nervous to meet him, not because he was the hottest teacher but she felt rather awkward after dinner last night, but maybe also because he was the hottest teacher too. (lol)

“Come in,” she heard Taehyung after she knocked the door. “Hi, Mr. Kim,” she greeted while walking to his desk to take a seat in front of him. “I told you it’s Taehyung,” he said. Yejin blushed at the comment because she thought he wanted to keep professional at school. “Sorry, I thought, because we’re at the university,” she whispered loud enough for him to hear.

“Well, but there’s no one else, right? We can do whatever we want when there is no one,” he said. Yejin was taken aback. What does he mean? Do whatever? She thought that he was getting kind of creepy.

Taehyung smiled at her reaction, “I’m just kidding. But you can call me Taehyung if it’s only the two of us,” he said. “So,” he continued, “I asked you to come here because I have a question for you.”

Yejin raised her head to look at him, “Yes?”

“This morning I’ve come across some articles,” he said which made Yejin alerted. “I’m probably being too lousy but I really want to know, whether it is true or not,” Taehyung said straightforwardly.

For some reason, Yejin looked like she was about to cry. Taehyung noticed it right away, “Yejin, I’m sorry. You don’t have to answer if you do-,” he was cut by Yejin. “No, I was just,” she said as a tear rolled down her cheek. She did not know why she broke down in front of Taehyung.

Taehyung pulled out the chair next to Yejin and sat on it. “I’m so sorry,” he said and he pulled her into a hug. It looked as inappropriate as it sounded, a teacher was hugging his student to comfort her. After a minute of the hug, Yejin finally got her sense back to reality.
