The Moon Approves
THEIR SECRETS BEHIND
I felt disappointed at myself for not picking up the signs that she wasn't amused anymore. I kept bringing up about not being allowed to go to their dorms to fetch her and sulk about it. I thought that if I push it a little bit, she would eventually agree.
I was thinking only of myself and not how she might be feeling.
I know we have made up as if that conversation never happened. I wasn't even expecting her to post something after my IG story and she looked really pretty there.
But I still feel bad.
I stayed in London for three days. Having time alone to look around the stores, I remembered, I haven't given her anything for her birthday. The guitar I was planning to give her will be released by November so it would be too an overdue as a gift. I realized this will be the best time for me to buy her something.
I was looking around at Luis Vuitton when I recalled a phone conversation with her when Lisa briefly interrupted. It was quick but I heard Chaey told Lisa about that cute sling bag.
Will this be enough?
She must have a lot of bags but...
I ended up buying a small sling bag for her that I thought would look cute on her. I also bought a refrigerator magnet and a keychain of the Big Ben as a souvenir.
We arrived at Incheon at around 4 in the afternoon. There wasn't a crowd and fans flocking around as this trip wasn't announced publicly so I had it easy on my way out, but as I was passing on the waiting area following behind my manager and her girlfriend, I noticed this girl approaching me, wearing a white mask with that familiar black cap.
I stopped in my tracks, heart racing with this unexpected surprise. I didn't need to see her face to know it was her because by the way she walked and the built of her body, I would always recognize her.
"Mwoji?" I asked out loud which had alerted my manager, making both him and his girlfriend stop in their tracks and turn around to check on me.
This girl then pulled her mask down with the brightest, sweetest smile as she approaches me with a hug.
Aigoo...
She had recently lectured me from being recognized in public but here she comes in the most public place to surprise me.
I was quick to walk towards her, leaving all my things where I was standing before I finally got to wrap my arms around her, nudging that cap off her head with the tightest embrace.
I love hugs like this. It never fails to remind me how perfect it feels.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I shake her inside my arms while keeping the embrace, expressing how excited and surprised I was.
"I don't want you sulking and blaming me again when you're missing me." She chuckles.
"Nooo. Please don't remind me. I'm sorry." I pouted, lips pressed over her head, filling in my nose with her hair's fragrant scent.
She then looks up to me, nose scrunched, "You showered before you left, right?" She teased. I just ended up laughing as I buried her in my chest so it would fill her nose of my stinking scent she's teasing me about.
"Yah... yah... have you guys forgotten we're at the airport? Save it to somewhere private and let's get going." My manager called out which had both of us giggling before I picked up her cap and put it on her head while she smiles up at me.
I introduced Chaey to my manager who will soon get married to her girlfriend, who also happens to be a huge fan of Blackpink. She asked Chaey to sign her phone's casing and even took a picture together inside the car.
I feel so proud at that moment. I know I can never brag about her with everybody but, there are a few people now that know about us and it's a relief that I'm no longer hiding it to these people. At least, I won't end up sounding like I'm only dating this girl in my dreams.
When we got to my apartment, she was, in turn, surprised when I handed her that orange paper bag with a blue ribbon handle. Her eyes widened as she looks inside it.
"Belated happy birthday." I then greeted and kissed her cheek.
"Eeh?" She hummed looking up to me.
"I've never given you anything for your birthday, well, I haven't given you anything yet so... I hope you like it." My lips curl into a pursed smile as I waited for her to open it, eager to see if she really would like the bag I picked. However, instead of opening it immediately, she just looked at me.
"What do you mean you haven't given me anything?" She smiles as she asked.
"I... haven't gifted you anything?" I answered, brows furrowing.
"You don't need to buy me things... but don't think you haven't given me anything, Channie. I'm blessed enough to have you as..." She answers but trails off.
"As?" I asked, moving closer towards her.
"As... the second most important man in my life. Second to my father." she continues, smiling brightly once again. "But seriously, I'm fine if you don't buy me anything."
"I hope there won't be the third most important person." I pouted.
"Oh! No! You're third!" She then exclaimed looking surprised, "First is my dad, second is Gong Yoo and third is Channie!"
"Y-yah... Can't I be second to your dad? You haven't even met Gong Yoo yet. Why does he get to be second?" I asked as I pulled her by the waist where she then shook her head furiously before jumping in to wrap her arms around my nape. She then chuckles while never letting g
