It's been a great privilege to collaborate with other artists for a stage performance especially on a show were idols and fans gather to celebrate success for the year that passed.

Our manager had pushed a schedule for me today for a documented practice video for Gayo Daejun.

Heading to the location, I pulled off the hoodie of my pullover jacket and fix my hair which was styled curly as it had been for the past week.

Today is cold which is usual for autumn so I've bundled up a long-sleeved shirt underneath my black pullover jacket which will still be underneath a long winter coat once I got off the car.

I was told to bring my own guitar to prepare for an acoustic performance. I've been always confident in my guitar skills even if I can't read notes and this will be my first acoustic performance with other artists.

The news about the collaboration had already been circulating thru the net and our fans are excited in anticipation of our performance.

Even I, myself is excited.

My manager and I entered the premises and met the staff and PDs who will be helping us today. 10  cm sunbaenims arrived before me and they were quick to greet me and express their excitement. They were the producers of this stage after all.

A few minutes later, Twice's Jihyo and Blackpink's Rosé arrived and the first thing I noticed is the guitar case Rosé is carrying.

I've seen her performances and of course, her guitar playing at Weekly Idol. I never knew much about her or anyone I'll be working for this stage performance but I've heard she's good with the guitar and I'm always impressed with girls who can play instruments apart from being a good singer... I've been always impressed by well-rounded idols.

And who could've forgotten that voice that had everyone captivated? Her voice is not something you'll hear everyday especially in our line of work.

Needless to say, it's very unique.

However, another thing I noticed is how different she looks up close. All idols are pretty and I've seen her in person but not this close. My eyes may have been used to seeing cute, pretty and handsome that she never struck me so much so her looks would leave an impression on me... but, seeing her up close with a friendly, shy smile, I can already admit I'm so wrong.

I'm not much after the looks, to be honest. A lot of women in this industry are drop-dead gorgeous but there is only a handful you can say who's the prettiest in person, up close.

She's really pretty up close.

The girls were quick to greet all of us and Rosé introduce herself politely but shyly that she looks so cute as she keeps on bowing.

I just learned that her real name is Park Chaeyoung and as we all talk about music and influences, I was surprised that we shared the same taste.

After the short introduction, we were then given instruction on how the filming for the practice would go.

The camera started rolling the moment with Choel jong sunbaenim entering the practice room first and me as the last one to enter behind Rosé.

I wanted to help her carry the hard case of her guitar but she politely declined. Now, seeing her shy smile so frequently from the moment we had been introduced had me noticing how pretty she smiles.

Not everyone can smile with genuine happiness and hers was just so bright, outshining my own.

As we were seated in front of the camera with the girls in the middle, we first talk about how excited we are and how we look forward to how the performance would go.

We were then asked how to show our guitar skills and me being a fan of 10 cm, offered to play one of their songs with Jung Yeol sunbaenim singing for me.

He had a unique, relaxing voice and I was quite privileged to be able to play for him even if it's just practice.

They then asked Rosé to play and she chose an English song. I knew she's fluent in English and having heard her thank the fans in that language had always had me impressed...

Now that I think about it, I've never noticed how impressed I was by a girl...

But hearing her sing and play the guitar personally had me in awe.

I was being careful enough not to give too much reaction since the last that I was careless, I got caught in the camera. Good thing that that accidental moment of me saying 'yepeo' at the sight of Joohyun's face at the huge screen didn't earn hate... well, I was just going along on the crowd plus, her visual had always been excellent.
