After the long winter holiday Eunbi had, she was definitely feeling reluctant to go back to work. Of course, who wouldn’t be? No one likes a nine to five job, no matter how much money they made or how it was their dream job. Working itself is a hassle and Eunbi too wasn’t all looking forward to it. Though, there is something else that held her back. And it had everything to do with her wife.
For the past month or so, Eunbi would wake up to her wife in their bed, they would cook breakfast together, eat in each other’s company, watch a movie together, and basically do every activity together until they fall asleep next to each other. Wonyoung would join in their activites sometimes, though that would depend on her teenage mood swings. When their child wasn’t with them, which was often, it would be just the two of them all day long.
Some might say it would be suffocating to spend so much time with your partner. But Eunbi doesn’t feel suffocated at all. She enjoyed every moment with Chaeyeon. She felt happy as long as they were in each other’s presence.

The kiss almost felt like a promise––for things to keep progressing between them and to stay that way. Maybe not forever, that was too much to ask, too much to assume. But for now, they only needed each other.
The day that followed their date saw Eunbi and Chaeyeon being the most codependent they’ve ever been. Lingering looks when they thought the other wasn’t looking, lingering touches that were innocent and not so innocent, the bold hand holding, the surprise kisses. All of those in just one day. Wonyoung even had to lock herself away in her room to avoid witnessing her parents being all lovey-dovey. And Eunbi was sure it would have continued on to the next day if it weren't for them having to go back to work.
Eunbi wasn’t even aware she was happily spacing out until a voice snapped her out of it. “Well aren’t you glowing..” Sakura commented, an amused expression on her face.
They were having lunch together, as usual. The two friends sat together in the staff’s break room. Oddly enough, the
