Jeonghan looked into the mirror, combing his hair to tie them into a neat ponytail. He then pulled out a portion of his elongated bangs and set them neatly at the side, enjoying his pretty look. Should he add his eyeliner or just go there bare faced?

Bare face. He was going to somewhere people already know him. There would be a number of his old contacts there who he was confident would court him even without him trying so hard. Just imagining them swarming around him like before pleased him a bit, he felt a bit silly. Sure, he used to think it was annoying and pathetic of them but after frequenting the west district for a few months and constantly being pestered by desperate and insistent alphas and surrounded by a number of other dangerous ones, Jeonghan found himself missing it.

It had been more than half a year after all. He was allowed to miss doing something he had been doing for years. Come to think of it, why did he stop going anyways?

‘Pfft.’ Jeonghan laughed at himself, now feeling stupid about his paranoid self. The alpha’s not as weak as Seungcheol who was still hung up over his of an ex-lover. If anything, the model’s the exact opposite of the man – confident and rational, and strong, definitely unromantic. The proposal was probably just a temporary confusion. It was stupid of him to went as far as to change club in the first place. Had he decided to continue going to his old one, he wouldn’t have all these trouble finding a partner for his heat. ‘Okay!’ Jeonghan exclaimed to himself, now excited to finally return to his old haven. One final look at his schedule and making sure he didn’t have morning lecture tomorrow, he put his phone on silent.

Ah, this was more like it. He really missed the hanging purple diamonds, the huge dance floor, the very bouncy music which he can bop to lightly, the sound system… After months at the horrible low-quality club, he really came to appreciate this place. Also, the very good-looking patrons. Just one glance at their accessories and he knew he would get to sleep in a comfortable place tonight.

‘Yoon Jeonghan! Such a long time!’ Jeonghan flashed a bright smile at the bartender who he befriended throughout the years. Most of the staffs here are part-timers who comes and goes, but few of them stays. And Jeonghan knows all of the few. Thinking hard, trying to choose between trying the new concoction or having his usual favourite cocktail, he found himself humming along the heavy beat and laughed at himself. He just let his guard down to enjoy himself. This was impossible at the west district. ‘Life’s good?’

‘It’s fine,’ he screamed at the middle-aged beta behind the counter. The man gave him a familiar smile and proceeded to grab a few bottles of alcohols to make his order. While waiting, the young omega turned around.

Shaking his head in disbelief, Jeonghan turned back towards the counter. He just realized he last went to a club at the beginning of summer break. Which was a few months ago. ‘Thanks’ Jeonghan grabbed his orange drink and started to sip, chugging as he felt the heat coursing through his body. A little alcohol in the system was just what he needed to kickstart the night. One look at the dance floor, and another at the decorated rows of alcohols, he decided it was time to hunt.

‘Hello there,’ a familiar alpha started moving with the rhythm in front of him. Jeonghan stared at the rapper who he knew had been eyeing him for a while. Smirking, knowing the man’s bad reputation, Jeonghan moved away, loving how easy the alpha gave up on him as there were lots of other famous and attractive people there for the proud man to move on. A few more alphas, both females and males, old and new faces alike tried their chances but Jeonghan was not feeling it – he finally came here after a while, he didn’t want to waste it on another one-night stand. And that alpha was there. Jeonghan only had to move to a more secluded space; where Youngho had been, enjoying his snacks on the tall table. ‘Changed my number.’ Youngho, stared at him, smiling and tilting his head, expecting an explanation. Figuring there was no harm in telling, Jeonghan continued, ‘too many alpha .’, an answer which earned him a handsome grin. He could tell the alpha was attracted; he was showing the obvious signs. The alpha wasted no time in strengthening his pheromones and Jeonghan sneered, teasing the other a little more.

Owh how he wanted to give in right now, just remembering how good the alpha was in bed.
