In 3 to 4 hours of the train ride, the girls arrived at Northern Vale Station. They all alighted the train and followed through security check and baggage claims.

"Well, Welcome to Northern Vale District!" Nayeon introduced "this is just a small town in Vale city, quite far from ours but still.. part of Corona." She smiled

"Come on, Come On! We'll meet up with the ORS Vale district outside the station." Somi called out. The girls then got ready to leave the station. Somi kept looking around for any sights of her friends.

"ouch.. why does my head hurt so bad?" Chaeyoung patted herself and clicked her neck

"Next time, you should really consider not drinking at eight in the morning" Mina scowled

"I'm sorry..."

"Yo! Chaegie!" Lisa rushed towards the latter and had her arms around Chaeyoung's neck "here! have this" She handed over a hangover pill to the latter "Rosiee always brings one just in case I drink too much" She laughed

"That is not something you should really encourage her to do.." Rose walked towards them with her arms crossed as she scowls at Lisa. "How's your head Chae?"

"It's.. fine.. I'll just drink this once we settle in.."

Mina scoffed and Rose looked over the latter. She walked behind her and had her arms around her "you know.. if you really are worried.. why not tell her" she whispered

"I-I am not.." Mina replied

"Sure.." Rose smirked "Oh no Chaeyoung are you okay?!" Mina suddenly turned around to look at Chaeyoung with a worried face "Chae?"

"h-huh? you called?" Chaeyoung looked at her with a confused look. Rose was snickering at Mina as she looked at the latter "Real funny.." Mina said

"You sure don't care about Chaeyoung.." Rose laughed "Oh well, Not my business" Rose walked out continuing to laugh and Mina scoffed

"Hey.. Mina?" Tzuyu walked behind her
"oh.. uh.. hey Tzu.." She nervously replied with a smother around her face
"You know.. about what happened earlier.."
"Oh yeah.. uhm.. that was nothing.. I don't even know what I was thinking you know! It was just an accident.." She replied nervously and awkwardly laughed
"Right... just making sure.. because you know how I feel about your sister.."
"yeah.. of course.."
"And Chaeyoung?.. my best friend?"
"I know.." An awkward silence filled their conversation. Mina's head dropped low and Tzu tried to avoid the eye contact
"So.."
"Tzuyu"
They both mumbled together in sync. "yes?" Tzuyu replied. "Oh it's nothing.. I.. think we got to go.." Mina covered. "right..." and they walked side by side without uttering a word.

"Hey! Somi!" an unknown guy waved out towards the group, with a black hoodie and blue jeans.

"Jackson!" Somi waved as she ran towards her friend. "Dude! it's been a long time!"

The girls followed through "Oh right, here are my other ORS members." Somi called out. "That's Eunbi, Lisa, Jennie, Rose, Wonyoung, Yujin, Jisoo, Irene -"

"Yeah, they sure are a lot, I am sure I know them as much as you do Somi.." Jackson laughed

"Oh right, You are the Vale District coordinator of course." Somi laughed

"Of course! we are now in the same level!"

"Hey! what are you guys taking so long!" another unknown guy hastily beeps his horn on the side street.

"Calm your down Yugyeom! We are coming.." Jackson yelled "I am sorry, he.. is a little bit screw loose!" He laughed "Shall we?"

"Come on girls!" Somi called out and the girls followed.

"Seriously Somi.. why do you guys always have to make me wait.." Yugyeom raised his voice

"Sorry!" Somi laughed and kept her baggage in Jackson's car "So since it's too many of us, we need to divide.. Some goes with Jackson, and some with Yugyeom.."

"But Somi, they wont fit in an 8 person car even" Nayeon pointed out

"oh don't worry love, Mark and Bam are coming for the pickup too, speaking of where are they?" Yugyeom pulled out his phone and began calling for Mark and Bam

"Bam?.." Mina mumbled and Tzuyu looked over her with distress

"Hey Mina.. are you okay?" Tzuyu asked

"oh.. uh.. yes.."

"Hey! there you guys are! over here! The guard told us to go around!" Mark called out and Bambam just waved

Mina looked over him trying to avoid eye contact "Mina.. That's BamBam isn't it?" Sana and Momo walked towards their younger sister "...Yeah.." Chaeyoung looked at Mina upset, and furrowed her brow wondering what was wrong. "Hey Mina.. you.. okay?" Chaeyoung asked, Mina then just released a smile on her face with nothing but blank emotions.

Bambam and Mark walk towards the girls. "so! Who is coming with?" Mark smiled and clasps his hands together. Bambam looked around and saw Mina who was trying to avoid eye contact "Hey.. Mina" He called out.

"Oh.. h-hi.."

"Long time no see" he smiled

"Yeah long time indeed" she replied. Tzuyu and Chaeyoung glanced over the older girl and glanced at Bambam who seemed to be happy seeing Mina after a long while.

"How bout you -" Bambam was cut off by Chaeyoung "Mina, Let's go with Nayeon unnie" She pulled Mina over and Tzuyu followed "Hey BamBam, Nice seeing you again" Sana waved and followed Mina to the car "Nice seeing you guys too Sana.." Bambam waved however his sight was just filled with Mina.

Mark then snapped his fingers in front of Bambam. he instantly shook his head and cut off his trance "Don't even try, you two are history down the drain Bam.."

"Yeah, It's been a while anyway.." he smiled

"Anyway! come on girls! the Car's this way" Mark pointed out as Bambam still continues to glance onto Jackson's car where Mina is located.

They all arrived at Luc Heights Found on the Southern side of a valley. The village itself looks graceful. With its shingle rooftops, mahogany wood walls and a huge, majestic geyser, Luc Heights has a delightful atmosphere. The main attraction is the statue, which was built 46 years ago. Symbolizing peace and prosperity. The village is filled with greenery plants and farms, a slightly developed village and around it.

"Whoa.." The girls awed in chorus

"Welcome.. to Lucian Heights.. home of our beloved Artemis, goddess of the Moon.. In here you'll find your inner peace and bond yourself with your own energy core. We train all Alphas in this village to ensure they find their individual strengths.." Somi smiled

"You girls must all be Alphas then" Jackson laughed

"Actually, they are here for defense training, and If possible we can train them to capture their own energy source as well.."

"Really? now you guys must all be lucky.." Jackson laughed

The car drove into a halt in front of the ORS HQ "Yes, the HQ is not hidden. but the village is." Jackson laughed. "Here, everyone and anyone can be part of the ORS unless you are pure in heart." he added as the girls nod into understanding. The rest of the girls hopped down Marks, Yugyeom and Bambam's cars and met them in front of the HQ.

"Well then carry on, and meet Director IU in front. She'll guide you to Eden" he smiled

"Eden?" Chaeyoung asked

"Right, It's where you begin your first phase to training" he winked

"Good luck everyone, and may the moon be in your presence!" Yugyeom waved as they walk back out of the HQ

"M-Mina.." Bambam called out, Tzuyu and Chaeyoung looked towards them as well "You take care.."

"T-thanks Bam.. you too" She smiled and walked away "Come on.. let's go" She pulled Sana and Momo following behind Somi and Nayeon. Bambam smiled and followed through Jackson, Yugyeom and Mark

"You wont have a chance, just give up Bam.." Jackson laughed

"It's not like I was trying to win her back you know"

"Sure.. Mina did grow up to be a pretty little girl don't you think?" Mark patted Bambam's back and laughed

"Shut up.."

The conversation went on until it faded into the scene while Chaeyoung and Tzuyu followed their glare to Bambam. Chaeyoung noticed Tzuyu glaring at Bambam as well and tapped her. "Tzuyu.." Chaeyoung furrowed

"yes?" Tzuyu looked at Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung walked in front of the latter, looking up at her with a scowled face, she crossed her arms and titled her head "Do you... by any chance.. like Mina?" she furrowed.

"what?"

Chaeyoung shook her head and began to walk around Tzuyu "Nothing, You seemed overly attached to Mina, and care for her as much as I do.."

"I care for everyone equally"

"What about Sana.. I heard she and Dahyun are together already"

"Can we not talk about Sana?"

"Okay.. I'm sorry.." She hanged her head low and looked at Tzuyu again who seemed uncomfortable. She patted Tzuyu's shoulder and held on

"What I hate the most is being betrayed by my own bestfriend... So I hope, No matter what happens, we'll both be equally honest to each other as we are now.." Tzuyu nodded and smiled.

"Great, good to know we understand each other.." Chaeyoung gave out a dimpled smile and walked towards the group as they were falling behind. Tzuyu's smile faded and hanged her head low. She sighed and continued to walk, trailing Chaeyoung behind.

"hi girls! What brings you guys here" She looked over at the alphas "didnt you guys just graduated from the academy?" IU laughed

"hey mother moon!" Lisa called out

"hi miss IU." Eunbi bowed together with the rest of the girls

"actually, it's not us who needs training miss, it's them" Yeri pointed at Chaeyoung, Dahyun and Tzuyu
"Ah.. i see..." IU smiled and walked towards them "you must be the famous Elites our agents are guarding correct?" she gave out a gentle smile while observing their every actions. The girls bowed "good day ma'm.." Chaeyoung held out a dimple smile "we are really sorry to causing you trouble.." she bowed yet again "oh you must be Ms. Son" IU spoke
"yes ma'am"
"princess" IU bowed
"no ma'am please dont" she stopped IU at the midst of her bow "I really dont like being called part of the royal family"
"why not Miss Son?"
"I just- dont have good connections that is all..."

"she hates being part of their family head mistress.. i know because she is somewhat like my sister" Nayeon interrupted
"i see... but reports have been stated that you are the target of these said men of the dark?"

"Right.. My team had investigated your case, actually all ORS had been on the case since the Hiyouitozaki sisters reappeared after thier kidnapping"
IU looked at the young girls with great precision "well then, I see you've been confused.. come along let me explain.." IU walked towards a hidden room filled with holographic information and boards. She directly walked towards a big TV screen and clicked onto a remote.

"November 17, 2018. The day the Hiyouitozaki sisters were deemed captured by the Men of the dark. honestly- we dont know what they call themselves yet.. until we found this.. a number of girls fallen under the kidnapping rate of the same men, found dead in this shipping warehouse by the docks. The girls all had a burnt logo on their skins.. under the name 'Kraken'.." IU flipped through photos after photos of the bodies with the same mark

"A kraken? we learned that in school unnie" nako pointed out

"You did?" IU asked

"Yes, It is a legendary sea creature, a big octopus.."

"hey yeah! they did thought us that in school too. It was very famous together with the leviathan story" Rose added

"Well yes, because it is legendary and thus it is strong, its strength and adaptability are off the charts." IU explained

"And.. it is quite intelligent since they can disguise themselves under the sea or even through the clouds as like a city area" Jihyo added

Tzuyu and Chaeyoung had their hand on their chin trying to figure out the kraken lead. "Unnie look!" Wonyoung yelled "a kraken.. symbolizing to twist.."

"Twist?" Dahyun thought
"Disguise.." Lisa followed
"Legends?" Wendy hummed
"Strength.." Nayeon added
"And Intelligence" Eunbi followed

Hitomi, Rose and Joy clicked their fingers and caught everyone's attention in the room "Underwater.." the three called out in sync filling the room with silence

"Huh?" Everyone hummed in chorus

"See! The Kraken in disguise.. the humaniods.." Hitomi clarified
"The Kraken as a twist.. Jeongyeon.." Rose confirmed. IU smiled and nodded as they continued to analyze
"Strength and Intelligence?.. A.I technology" Joy added.
"And legends underwater..." IU interrupted.

"SIGMAS MECHATRONS" all the alphas gasps together in sync as the voices filled with fear.

"Chaeyoung.. isnt Sigma, part of Jeongyeon's family holdings?" IU asked
"Yes, but I doubt she had something to do with this Miss IU."
"But she is the lead we got, and we will get it.. understand?"
"Y-Yes Ma'am" Chaeyoung hanged her head low

"Really.. it can't be Jeongyeon.." Chaeyoung whispered is despair.

The girls began to walk towards the training grounds while Chaeyoung had her head low in disbelief. IU noticed the young heir "Chaeyoung.."
"Yes Miss.."
"Catch!" IU threw daggers onto Chaeyoung as she almost held out her hand but noticed it were daggers so instantly dodged it "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!"
IU laughed at the young one who had her heart drop dead with fear "Lesson number one, ALWAYS... ALWAYS be alert even if you are in a state that you cant handle it." She smiled "You know, I believe Jeongyeon is not a part of this facade.. but! What if Jeongyeon does need our help.. will you just hang your head low just because you believed someone that they suspect your friend?" IU raised an eye brow, took a fierce stance and began to toss and play with her daggers with one hand.

"You see i am a rogue, and daggers are my girls. These daggers are homing daggers" she stretched out her arms and began to anticipate for the return of her daggers as she grabs them upon reach. "This! Is my specialty.. and of course weapons created by my co-alphas" she walked towards Chaeyoung and stared down on the little tiger "So.. What is yours?" She gave out a wicked smirk slightly noticeable from the side of her chin. Chaeyoung raised her head and furrowed her brows.

IU clicked her tongue and dropped a dagger straight down her feet hitting the floor which was in between her feet. "So what will it be Son Chaeyoung? Shall we save Yoo Jeongyeon? Or do you choose to make a fuss over a stupid analysis"

"I dont even have a team."

"CHOU TZUYU.. KIM DAHYUN.. arent they your team?"
"They are my friends, we never trained for such things!"
"The way I see it, you guys had been teams for a long while.." IU smiled
"What?! How!?"
"Trust Chaeyoung.. how do you not know what your friends are capable of?"

"Kim Dahyun.. Mechanic, specializes in speed, acceleration, Motor and defense.. Chou Tzuyu, Intelligence, her great analytical skills and strategic thinking can help boost your team in a better position.. and.. Son Chaeyoung.. Frontliner.. fearless leader, who doesn't give up, has the strength of a wild beast. And finally Yoo Jeongyeon.. Demolition, one of the best skilled Kid mischiefs in Corona's elites. Very Strategic and always had intuition.."

"Jeong is not here.."

"I know, and you and your team will find her.. even if it's the last thing you guys do.."
Dahyun, Tzuyu, and Chaeyoung looked at eachother and began to nod.

"Well then Miss Son, Kim and Chou.. time for your training.." IU smiled. "FRONTLINERS! Line up! DEMOLITION! INTEL! AND MECHANICS TOO..get ready because they have alot of things to learn.!" IU snapped her fingers as the girls of different groups grabbed the three girls and the Hiyouitozaki sisters

"Wait us too?"
"Of course, you were still not a fully pledge alphas Hiyouitozaki.."
"Oh.. right"

IU bowed, smiled "LET's GET A MOVE ON" she clapped her hands and the training began. Frontliners and demolition pulled Chaeyoung to the training fields. Intels and Mechanics grabbed Tzuyu and Dahyun towards the lab.

"Hey you guys! I am craving for nuggets!" Wonyoung suddenly exclaimed
"You gotta stop eating! YOU ARE EVEN GROWING TALLER THAN ME!!" Yujin hit Wonyoung's head.

"See you Chae.."
"Good luck Chae"

"Good luck guys.."

"No worries you will both meet after you finish both trainings for a team switch. So be sure to learn everything you can from your alphas.. that includes you three J-liners" IU winked

"Y-Yes mam" Mina bowed

"Nayeon, Jihyo, you two come with me, help me figure out this humaniod we captured.."

"Wait? You captured one?"
"Yeah.. i dont even know how but one of my agents did"

They arrived at the lab to see the humanoid laying down in a capsule full of green glowing liquid substance. "This is not a humanoid.. its a person." IU discussed

"That's just like Momo.." Nayeon pointed
"Yes, and if it weren't for Jihyo, Momo.. would be like this.."
IU showed a video captured by another same specimen that was in the capsule. He was beginning to lose control, eyes began to glow red, and suddenly.. his head popped out from the circuits
"Ugh! What just.."

"Their neuron transmitter which was connected from the neck above? Sigma overcharge them and boost power to become powerful, strong more like a human weapon.. for a matter of 5 mins. And it self distructs.. killing the person with the core." IU continues to scroll down for the videos.

"You.. perhaps, were lucky to get Momo out of the mess Jihyo, however, Jeongyeon.."
"Jeong might have one too!" Nayeon interrupted

"Actually.. we thought of the same thing.. but Jeongyeon.. didnt have one.."

"Wait? What do you mean, that was the real Jeongyeon?!"

"That or maybe we are being deceived yet again.."

Nayeon and Jihyo kept quiet trying to decipher if Jeongyeon was really the culprit
"However.." Nayeon and Jihyo turned to look back at IU.. "this says other wise.." a footage from the hospital was taken "we were all there!"

"Watch.. in a moment the lights died.."

The lights suddenly died and the CCTV footage turned into night vision green, Jeongyeon was suddenly gone.

"How is that possible in a blink of an eye Jeongyeon wasnt taken or something" Nayeon furrowed

"We thought of the same, when the video was enhanced to here.." IU replayed the video in the edited form. "Youll see the white flash by the camera indicating the loss of light." The light flashed and Jeongyeon popped out gone.
"It was definitely a blink of the eyes" Nayeon shivered with fear

"Or.. it was a hologram.." Jihyo furrowed
"What?!"
"If you noticed the footage from the moment Jeongyeon was transferred, she didn't move a muscle, even breathing motions through her diaphragm is no where to be found.. it is as if she was a still picture"
"How was that? We could touch and feel her that time.."
"Same with our training ground technology Nayeon.. but it is all just virtual holograms.."

"Wait so you mean.."

"Uhuh.. Jeongyeon, was already gone.." IU crossed her arms and nodded

"But that's impossible.. WHEN? I was there when she got shot. I was there the whole time in the ambulance when I was with her? When?"

"That we failed to figure out.. but, we thought.. It should be a distraction.. or something..."

"Jeongyeon hasnt been acting properly the past few weeks.." Jihyo hesitated.. "we do have another lead.. but I doubt you'd like to know.." IU sighed
"Let me have it" Nayeon commanded. IU nodded and handed over a voice recorder to Nayeon. Her eyes widened and began to cry as she heard the recording.

"I am sorry for the late response Miss IU. But the person you are looking for.. Yoo Jeongyeon, had been filed missing for 2 Months now... ..."
