"Jeongyeon is gone!!"

Chaeyoung's POV

"What?.." I ran over to Jeonyeon's area, she really is gone. Why? what is going on here. This seems so unrealistic!

"Chaeyoungie.." Dahyun kept her hand over my shoulder trying to calm me down. I gritted my teeth, and Slammed the bed.

"What is going on here?!.. why are we always being attacked!"

"we are trying to solve this as soon as we can Chaeyoung.." Nayeon walked closer to me. I can't help but cry. If it wernt for me, Jeongyeon wouldnt be a part of this.

The lights got back on through the hospital's generator. The girls are trying to figure out the problem, but neither can I can find it out.

"How bout we get home and try to-" Nayeon suggested

"No! we can't rest now? one of our friends are missing!"

"it's four in the morning, we've been at it since last night because of Momo." Nayeon explained

"yeah, everything is happening so fast.. and it happened right after Momo's.. It is quite fishy" Jihyo added

I know it is, I know it's too fast. "But what is it that they want? I dont even care about my family business.."

"Chae.. it's okay.." Dahyun tapped my shoulder "we are all victims.."

"Yeah.. but it's me they want.. and i guess it's me who'll they get."

"okay, for now, we all need to rest and meet at HQ tomorrow. we'll meet with the girls And figure out a plan" Nayeon commanded

"but, I don't think It'll be safe to get to the dorm." Dahyun added

"How bout we all get home to our normal place.. Nayeon, Can I sleep over?" Jihyo asked

"I dont think going home is either a good Idea for me to see my grandfather. I dont even want to bring my father in danger in case we are caught..."

"Dont we need to protect the Hiyouitozaki sisters too?" Jihyo asked

"Very well then, Mi-" Tzuyu suddenly interrupted me

"Mina is staying with me."

"Eh?" Mina and Sana both had a shock expression as they all looked at Tzuyu with a serious attitude and her arms crossed

"why dont you take Sana instead?" I mumbled

"because Sana wouldnt like it to be with me, Plus, It's safer in your mansion"

"No it's not, I'm staying with Nayeon Unnie!" I slightly raised my voice. I didnt want Mina to stay with Tzuyu. And what the heck is up with her, Why does she have a sudden interest to Mina?

"Then bring Sa-"

"Let the Hiyouitozaki sisters stay with you Tzuyu.." Nayeon interrupted

"What?!" I couldnt believe what I was hearing

"The Chou residence is filled with guards and soldiers... being one of the family Dynasty, Your family and your connection could no doubt be a great help to secure the Hiyouitozakis" Nayeon added "Chaeyoung and Jihyo will remain with me... I would recommend Dahyun staying over in your place.."

"Dahyunnie?" Tzuyu said hesitantly "Well then okay.."

Wait.. why am I the only one left behind??

"Wait? Why am I the one left behind?"

"Because Jihyo and I needs to keep an eye on you closely. We know that they are after you, not the other elites... besides Tzuyu's guards can handle protecting them. It's safer If you stay with us instead"

"arent I safer with Tzuyu's guards?"

"The guards will mainly protect Tzuyu. but I doubt they'll be attacked when youre not there.. Jihyo and I need to run some test to figure out a good lead"

"This way, We would know if they're after You or the Hiyouitozakis" Jihyo added

"what If they attack today?" I am definitely trying too hard arent I?

"then We'll be ready. we need to get ready for another ambush." Jihyo stated

"I promise you, We will find Jeongyeon.. If it's the last thing I do.." Nayeon glared right at me. she gave me the goosebumps. she is my half sister, But she can be cool at times like this.

They began to walk out as I see Tzuyu's limousine park in front of me.

"Here" Tzuyu mumbled. She held Mina's hand. things I shouldve done. I guess being this reactive also has it's flaws

"uh.. Chae?" A soft fragile voice called out to me. "Mina.."

"Please be safe.." Is all she said as she got in the car.
"don't worry, I'll take care of them." Tzuyu said with a cold voice

"Tzuyu.."

"It's best if you dont bother her for now.. besides.. you might end up hurting her with all that temper you got going" She said as she stared down on me and got in the car

"It's okay Chaeyoung. we got it from here. We'll see you later" Dahyun tapped my back as she sat in and began to close the limousine door.

I could see Mina sitting beside Tzuyu. with the view I didnt want to think all day. Must I been so hard on her. I was just..

"Hey! Chae. Dad is here"

"Coming"

I saw my dad park his car by the entrance gate. He stood out and walked over me "Chaeyoung!" he hugged me as tight as he could "Look at you! you are so growned up.."

"Yeah dad, but she did not grow an inch!" Nayeon teased me

"oh! It's okay budd! you're way cuter the way you are. why did you cut your hair?"

"I just wanted a better look.." I said

"well, It looks awesome! come on! I got chicken curry at home!"

I hesitantly got in the car. figuring out if it would be best to just let this situation go just for a second. The drive was long, and Tiring. The night fell dark as my father drives continuiously through the dark.

The car got into a halt, and my tiring eyes widened to find myself in my old neighborhood.

"That... was Momo's place before.." Nayeon pointed

"Yeah ever since that day, we didnt know where they went" Jihyo added.

"It is sad.. but We are trying to get to the bottom of this madness.. anyway.. come in.." Nayeon said

"Feel at home Chae. I know it's been a while" My father exclaimed

"Thank you"

"Well It's six in the morning.. were you guys up the whole day?"

"Yeah dad, it was an emergency" Nayeon explained

"Well then you girls are lucky it's a weekend" he chuckled "So is there anything I should know of?"

"well.."

"Yeah we are being chased by a bad guy.." Nayeon suddenly just blurted it out calmly to him

"Oh? is this one of your cases with your friends?"

"Yes dad"

"W-wait just a minute.. you're open to dad about this?"

"yeah why not? He solves most of my cases as well. I just didnt need his help for this one?" Nayeon chuckled

"what?!"

"Chaeyoungie.. Dad is also a spy." Nayeon laughed

"Whaaaaat?!"

"well, Used to be budd. I had to give up spy business for your mom." He hesitantly laughed

" AGAIN! what?!"

"long story short budd. I used to be something before.. but I wasnt now. simple" he scratched his nape "well then you girls get some rest. we had a long drive back home. I'll leave food here while I go to work"

"okay dad.." Nayeon shouted "C'mon Chae.. this way.  Jihyo already went to the other room" She laughed

"So Im guessing Jihyo is here often?"

"Yes quite often that she has her clothes and her own room in here" she laughed "Okay here you go, You sleep beside me so feel free to borrow my clothes lil sis"

"Unnie? What was dad like?" I began to rummage through her closet looking for night clothes

"Well, Dad is really independent.. even if he wasnt my real dad.. he took me in as if I was his real daughter you know" She said walking towards the bed and getting ready for a snooze "I never really had a father.. until your father came along"

"you mean we really arent by blood?"

"no silly. did you really think your father would be able to do that to your mom?"

"but my family's story-"

"It's wrong.. they dont know what happened.. I honestly hate the Son family.." She mumbled in a monotone "Except for you ofcourse.." she smiled

"why tho?"

"they make up stories just so they can be in the good side. Dad wasnt all those."

"How do you know this?"

"because dad used to work as your Mom's body guard kind of thing more like a royal Body guard? I am not sure.. but when the princess and him fell inlove... stories began to go out as if he was a bad influence" Nayeon gradually teared up and softly wipes it away

"How do you know everything about this story?"

"oh you didnt know? My mom was the your Mom's best friend.. No she is not a princess, they met through your father. The princess shares her stories to my mother.. her adventures, her rants, her vents.. everything.. and mom tells them all the time.."

"So my dad.. never remarried?"

"No. he just took me and my mom in. because As i said.. I had no father.. my mom was bearing me alone when she was pregnant. she wanted to abort me. but your father.. he stopped her. he saved me. that is why ive been grateful ever since. therefore, that's why they live together.. Even your mom knows this. I was 2 years old when your Mom was bearing you.." She rummages through her drawer and pulled out a picture and handed it over to me. "the princess Ran away and stayed here when she was pregnant with you.. because your grandfather wouldnt approve." She pulled out another picture "That's your mom right there.. and that's you.. She was the happiest girl alive when you into the world"

"Huh... I never knew someone could be proud of me..." i began to tear gradually "I never saw my mom.. she was beautiful.. her smile when she sees me.. it's just so precious"

"I am sure she'll be proud if she could see you now.."

"Why was my father shunned then? because mom ran away?"

"No.. people had their own opinions. my mom and yours are bestfriends.. living in one roof with one father therefore assuming dad has two wives..."

"My father is such a great guy... he doesnt deserved to shunned by my family."

"it's fine.. all he cares about is you and us.. nothing more nothing less" she smiled "Well then get to sleep.. We atleast need to wake up by tonight and meet with my girls."

"Tonight?"

"yeah.. I'll be restless if we havent checked out on jeongyeon's situation"

"okay then.. sleep well unnie" We both began to lay down and got into sleeping

I wonder what would happen later.. *sigh* What's going on in the Chou Residence?
