Secret Admirer
"I can't believe this."
"I know."
"We have free time."
"And we're having lunch."
"At a restaurant."
"Our favorite one of all places."
The waiter sighed, "May I take your order now?"
Well, yeah. FINALLY!!! Yana, Holly, Karina, and I have time to have lunch at our favorite fancy restaurant near school. It's not really fancy, the food's still affordable, but it's one of the more expensive ones than where we usually eat. Thank goodness all our profs decided to cancel our classes for two hours. We haven't been able to bond since hell month started.
"How many papers left?"
"Two more for me," Karina sobbed.
"I'm done with papers, but I still have three exams next week," Yana frowned.
"Two more for me too," Holly sighed.
"I just finished one last night. I have one more, and that history paper," I sipped on my iced tea.
"Oh, that history project with the guy partner?" Karina wiggled her eyebrows.
"What is it with me having a guy partner?" I sighed. "Is there anything in the law that states that I can't have a guy partner???"
Holly laughed, "It's not that, it's just that we think he likes you."
"Exactly!" Yana laughed, "From what you've been telling us, it seems like he's into you." We haven't been meeting lately, but we still talk on the internet (more Facebook than Twitter, though; imagine what Youngbae oppa's reaction would be if he reads what I've been telling these girls).
"But, I don't want him to be into me," I mumbled.
"It's not your choice to make, __________," Karina laughed.
"Yeah, thanks for the encouragement," I rolled my eyes.
"How's Youngbae, by the way?" Holly asked as our food was set on the table.
"We just talked this weekend, he's fine," I smiled. "I really miss him."
"You don't talk everyday anymore?"
"He doesn't want me to get distracted and says I should finish my school stuff first."
"Such a supportive boyfriend~" the three cooed.
"He's not even my boyfriend," I said.
Karina gasped, "Seriously?! Not yet?!"
"Yeah, what did you think?"
"That you were already engaged," Holly bluntly said.
Okay, I laughed. "No! We're just... I don't know what our relationship is called, but it's just like that."
"So, you're in the dating stage?" Yana asked.
"I don't know... We can't really date considering the fact that he's a few thousand miles away from me."
"Wow, that's pretty complicated," Karina said.
"I know, right?" I laughed. "I'm just enjoying every moment I talk to him, to be honest."
"Well that's good," Holly beamed.
"Wait! How's your secret admirer guy?"
"He's still giving me flowers through Nat," I shrugged.
"Hasn't it crossed your mind that Nat might be your secret admirer?"
The four of us fell silent for a bit, until...
"Nah," all four of us simultaneously said. Then we burst into laughter.
"Seriously, I can't imagine you and Nat," Karina laughed.
"Not in a million years," I laughed.
"Okay okay," Yana took deep breathes, "Nat's not it."
We continued talking for a while, until all the food vanished from our plates. It's really filling, not just the food, but everything we talked about. It's so awesome to be with friends like this in the midst of a lot of things happening in your life.
We went back to school after lunch and I went to my class, the last for the day. It was kind of boring, to be honest, but since I had a fun time with my friends just a while ago, I felt more energized. The class ended well, and I was about to go home.
"Excuse me, are you _________?" A voice suddenly asked from behind me.
I turned around, "Yes, I a-"

@Honeyjay: Thank you so much for saying that!!! ^^ Yeah, I've gotten stuff that after they read TS, they did what 'you' do here in SA, so I took inspiration in that LOL :D I really hope you continue to love SA (since I don't know how I'm writing it right now LOL) :))))
