CHAPTER NINE.

Namjoon stirs the coffee in a cup on the table in front of him. It has been 30 minutes, but Jisoo still sitting quietly in front of him. Not even a word came out from her rosy lips. Yes, it’s true that he asked to meet her after his reading session at Jisoo’s workplace just now. But not just to look at each other, but also to talk. Namjoon kind of missing her too. 

Jisoo’s eyes wandered around the quiet coffee house. Looking uncomfortable as ever. Everyone in the café can be heard chatting in a low tone, but it could not avoid her from being unbothered with Namjoon presence in front of her. “Jisoo-ah,” Namjoon called her in his y husky voice. 

Jisoo took a deep breath and gather her courage before turning looking at the man sitting in front of her. “Why exactly do you want to see me? I have many things to do. Make it quick,” Jisoo told him. Namjoon smile. Her eyes blink nervously before turning away again. 

“It’s nothing actually. I just want to sit and talk with you,” he said. Namjoon pulls off a small smile. Jisoo sigh silently. “Why?” she asked. “I mis…”

“No,” Jisoo cut him off before Namjoon could finish his sentence. “Why did you write about what happened to us in that book?” Jisoo turned and glared at him. Namjoon is still smiling. “About what?” he asked.

“You know about what. Except that you didn’t comfort me and didn’t bring me to Venice. Don’t pretend to be stupid.”

Exactly. Namjoon knows exactly what she meant. How can he not? What he wrote in his latest book was all about Jisoo. And him. The scene that he picks to read for his reader during the launching of his book the other day is the scene that he regrets the most. He regrets ignoring her that night. He regrets that it was the scene that causes the breakup between him and her. 

It was hard for Jisoo. The whole day feels like hell to her. She just wants to go back home and hug Namjoon so tight, and refuse to let go. That was what she felt just now. But, what she got is totally out of what she imagined. Jisoo got totally ignored by Namjoon. 

They were lying down on the bed together, but with Namjoon’s back facing Jisoo. She slides closer to hug him, hoping that he would turn around and hug her back like he always did. But he didn’t. He pretended to be sleeping still. Jisoo suddenly cried. Namjoon is shocked. But he doesn’t move an inch. 

“Oppa,” Jisoo called. She was heard sobbing. “Let’s break up.”
