Chap 1
Certificate of a DaughterCHAPTER I
Who would’ve thought right? That life can be so frustrating like this…
2019
“Come on, Park Jiyeon! You’re gonna be late for school! I am going to be late for work! Who’s going to feed you if I’m jobless, huh?!” Rosé nagged.
Jennie chuckled. “Don’t be so hard on her, Chae! She’s just 5 okay? Besides, I’m a rich old woman, I can feed you both.”
Rosé smirked. She grabbed a toast bread that Jennie just put on the dining table in a hurry and rushed over to the door to wear her shoes.
“You’re just a year older than me, unnie! No offence about being rich, but if you’re an old woman, then what that makes me?” Rosé replied, smiling cynically.
“Alright alright, that’s enough talk. Come Jiyeon darling, give pretty aunty Jennie a kiss first,” said Jennie, shoving her plump cheeks towards the 5 years old little girl for a kiss. As Jiyeon kiss, “Good girl,” Jennie gives her a pat on her head and a return kiss on her cheek.
“Don’t forget to pick Lisa up from the airport. She’ll go crazy if she sees no one by her arrival later on,” Rosé reminded Jennie.
“I know. I’m just gonna drop by Jisoo unnie café to get some cupcakes and I’ll off to the airport. I’ll text you if anything,” says Jennie.
“Okay then, I’ll leave first.” Rosé left.
Jennie waves goodbye as both Rosé and Jiyeon enter the car before pulls of her apron to finish cleaning up the kitchen and dishes on the table earlier.

“I’ve had enough of you. Let’s stop here.”
“No! No, you can’t do this to me! I….I…” (stutters)
“I what? You know since the beginning right? I don’t really keep flowers that its sweetness has been out by bees? You should be grateful that I still favour you up till now.” (let out heavy breath)
“Please don’t do this to me! I beg you,” (cries heavily) (kneeling down)
“That’s enough!”
*honk* *honk* *honk*
Rosé snapped out from her daydreaming. “Damn, it’s green now!” She pushed on her feet on the pedal.
“Hey Chae!” Jiyeon called out.
Rosé looked at Jiyeon at a glance before focusing back on her driving.
“Hey Chae? Yah! Isn’t that a little bit rude to call someone older than you?” Rosé replied.
“Oh really? I think it’s a lot rude, but never mind. You were daydreaming again right?” asks Jiyeon.
Rosé frowns her forehead.
“No,” she answers shortly.
“You don’t even realized the red lights turning green?” Jiyeon questions again.
“I did. I just….just…you know. Human sometimes takes time to respond to things. Oh you might not know right since you’re just five, so I’m telling you now so that you know. Things like this only adults know, so you be grateful I’m teaching you this now,” Rosé nagged.
“Okay suit yourself,” Jiyeon looked out of the window.
