Jennie's POV

My wrist hurts. It feels constricted and I can't seem to move them. Everything around me is pitch black. I'm pretty sure my eyes are opened yet I see nothing but darkness. I'm sitting upright on a chair and I can feel my legs being tied up on the legs of the chair. My head is in a daze and I can't comprehend where am I at this moment

I struggled and tried to pry my hands out of those ropes that are biting into my skin. The more I tried to get out of them, the more I can feel my eyes welling up with tears as the rope just tightens even more. I opened my mouth to speak but I realised my mouth was already wide open with a gag placed inside. "Mmmm!! Mmm!" I wanted to shout for help but those were the only thing that I could have formed

It seems that my weak and soft call for help managed to gather some attention as I heard the opening of a door. "She's awake boss... What should we do with her?" A voice entered the room and I could hear footsteps. I'm pretty sure there would be about four people in this room with me. "He's coming? Do you want him dead or alive?" The same voice enveloped in the silence of the room and I believe that he is talking on the phone as no one else was replying him

He's coming? Who? Dead or alive... Don't tell me dad is coming

I started wriggling in my spot and I seemed to have lost my balance as the right side of my body came into contact with the floor and I fell with a loud thud. My head hit the floor and it was starting to hurt and pound badly. "Stop moving around litle girl and just sit still quietly." I heard another voice just above me and I felt myself being lifted back up and I was sitting normally again

"Yes boss... Alright I received the payment and we'll do our jobs now." The darkness around me suddenly turned white and the blinding lights that were hurt my eyes. I shut my eyes tight as I wasn't used to the sudden brightness. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that the blindfold that was on me a few seconds ago was being taken off by a random man

"Hey kid, it to be you because I just received orders from the boss" I heard his voice and recognised him to be the one who was on the phone call earlier on. I looked around me and just as I expected, there were three more other men with him. They were all dressed in black and they didn't seem to be thugs or gangsters. In fact, they were all pretty well dressed and they spoke rather eloquently

"MMmm... MMMmmmm!!" I wanted to speak to get answers out of them but the gag was still inside my mouth, restricting me from talking. "I'm sure you are rather curious of what orders we have gotten... But you'll know soon." He seemed to be the leader amongst the four of them as he snapped his fingers to instruct one of his underlings to pick up a bag that was filled to the brim

The underling took out a thick rope before tying the rope to a pole and he walked towards me. He untied my legs that were tied to the chair and I took this chance to kick him in his stomach and I tried to stand on my feet in an awkward position. "You , how dare you kick me!" He lunged towards me and I quickly turned towards my back so that the chair that I was still stuck to would be my shield

The chair that was supposed to be my shield turned out to be a weapon for the guy that I just kicked as he pulled the chair towards him and he punched me on the head. "Mmm!!!" I groaned in pain and I flew to the floor roughly as the guy threw me across the room. I looked up to see the rest of my kidnappers just looking at us and they seemed to have no intention on stepping in

"Bloody , I'm going to teach you a lesson!" He pulled me up so that I was sitting on the chair again before grabbing my hair roughly and proceeding to slap me a few times on the cheeks. My tears started rolling down my cheeks as it was starting to sting and burn again. I can't tell how long ago was it that I got slapped by Seulgi and I'm pretty sure it hasn't recovered yet as the pain I feel now felt like hell

After a few hits on me, he seemed to be pretty satisfied as he tied my legs and retied my hands on the rope attached to the pole. I was now hanging on the pole and my body weight was resting on my wrists. The rope was digging into my skin and my legs couldn't reach the floor. I looked exactly how a fish would look like after getting caught by a fisherman

"Boys, get to work." The leader instructed and I could see the smirks on the other three underlings start to grow and they started moving towards me. They looked like a predator that was being starved and they had finally found their prey to feast on. Jisoo... Please save me. I could only beg for help to reach me but I knew that help wouldn't arrive on time before they lay a finger on me

Seunghyun's POV

"Tell me everything that happened and I don't want you to omit or add any extra information into your story." Jisoo told me with all seriousness and I sighed before taking a seat on the couch. "Where do I even start this story..."

Flashback

I was sitting in my office, looking through the financial statements of the company and signing documents that needed attention. The company was at it's all time high and we were at our peak. We were doing so well and business deals from other major companies were flooding the company's mailing inboxes

I was looking through some of those business deals when Jiyong came into my office. I stopped reading those emails and leaned back into my chair. "Here, its the contract between our company and SM Corporations. They have agreed to fund our expansion plans for our hospital." Jiyong handed me the contract and I was very elated on this piece of information

My company, YG Hospital was around 3 years old. We were a new hospital with new facilities but we also had a limited land space. We were starting to get pretty well known for the services we provide and how our operations had a very high success rate. To add on, our surgeons have skills level that were one of the best and many patients are starting to flock to our hospital

What we needed now was capital and funding from a big business firm to expand YG Hospital and SM Corporations
