Jisoo's POV

It has been almost a month since the day where I found out that Jane is Jennie. 5 days of school a week, 20 days of school a month and the number of times we have had any interaction only amounted to roughly 40 times. We only exchange 'good morning' during the start of the day and a 'good bye' whenever we are heading home

Ever since that day, I went home with lots of thougts about the reason behind Jennie's disappearance, why did her and her family just vanish into thin air and the reason why Uncle Jiyong did not want me to tell my parents about them. But most importantly, I went home thinking that I would definitely talk to Jennie more often to catch up, and also because I missed her dearly

The thing is, instead of having more conversations with Jennie, it actually got even lesser than before. She had been trying all means and ways to avoid me and to not have any reason to talk to me. Whenever I see her in the hallways, she would immediately turn her back and walk towards the direction where she came from

There was once when I was about to open the classroom door to enter and Jennie had opened it to leave the class. Upon seeing me, she quickly shut the door and headed for the back door and left through that exit

Knowing how much she is trying to avoid me breaks my heart and saddens me deeply, but I do hope that she is doing that not because she hates me, but because she has a good reason to

The month had gone by rather peacefully compared to the first week of school as Seulgi had toned down her bullying and trash talking towards Jennie. She still did harass Jennie, but it was not as bad as she only calls Jennie names and walks pass her

Today is the start of a new month and also the 2nd week of school. Classes ended as per usual and I hung out at the mall near school with the girls

"Jisoo... I think our best friends are about to get stolen" Nayeon said as she eyed at Chaeyoung and Lisa who were linking arms and chatting with one another. "What do you mean by get stolen? We all always hang out together" I asked Nayeon as the 4 of us had gotten really close to each other since the start of school

"We are close but I mean, I was always the closest to Lisa and you were the closest to Chaeyoung... Oh! And just last Sunday, both of them went out together without telling us!" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows and whispered softly to me

"They went out together...?" I looked at the 2 of them who were full of smiles while talking before linking the pieces together

"Do you think... They..." Both Nayeon and I said simultaneously and we widen our eyes while covering our mouths. I started smirking to myself and started thinking of ways to tease the both of them

When we reached the movie theatre, we bought 4 tickets and made our way into the theatre hall. Usually, the order would be Chaeyoung, Jisoo, Lisa and Nayeon. But today was different. The order was Lisa, Chaeyoung, Jisoo and Nayeon

Nayeon and I raised our eyebrows and started giggling to each other. "Nabongs, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"I think you are thinking what I'm thinking too" She replied and we looked at the both of them who were still in their own world talking to each other

"Ahem, in case you forget, the both of us are here too" I teased them and they grew a shade darker. "Wha-What are you talking about! Of course we know you guys are here" Chaeyoung quickly protested and grabbed a popcorn and put it in

"Yeah! We were just talking... About stuffs" Lisa added on which failed to clear up anything. Luckily, the lights went off and the movie started

The movie was about the life of a dog and about how it had continued waiting for the owner to return at the train station every day without fail. But the thing is, the owner had already passed away yet the dog still went to the train station to wait. Years passed by and then came the day when the dog was too weak and was at the end of it's life

It was a really touching and sad movie, but me being Jisoo meant that I was almost immune to any sort of crying. I heard sniffles from all around me and I looked at my friends. Lisa and Chaeyoung were holding hands and Chaeyound had rested her head on Lisa's shoulders. Both of them were crying their hearts out and their eyes were really puffy

Nayeon was sitting in her sit with her legs hugged towards her chest and she was wiping away her tears. As for me, I was happily eating all the popcorn and I was still smiling

Everyone who left the theatre hall all had swollen and small eyes that could hardly be seen except for me. I w
