Jisoo's POV

I woke up from my sleep due to the sunlight creeping into the room. The curtains that are supposed to help keep the sunlight out aren't exactly helpful as they are tattered and filled with holes, allowing the sunlight to enter

I tried to bring my hands up to my face to cover the blinding light but I was not able to. There was a weight resting on my hands and they were preventing any sort of movements

Still half awake, I almost forgot where I was and who I was with until I felt another pair of hands above mine. I turned my head back slightly and I saw a girl that looked like she had just descended from heaven. She looked like she was a goddess sent from the gods and she looked like an angel free of worries while she is asleep

She looked so peaceful, innocent and carefree. The total opposite of how she looks when she is awake and especially when she is at school

I took both of her hands into mine and gripped on it tightly while rubbing my thumb on the back of her hands. I closed my eyes and remembered how we had numerous sleepovers when we were younger and happier, but none of the sleepovers we had can be compared to the one now. It might be because I had finally met Jennie after so many years or it might be because of what happened yesterday night

I was smiling like a fool and reminiscing about our childhood days when I remembered what Jennie had told me last night which caused me to have tons of good dreams last night. "I still feel the same for you, Jichu" She said and I fell asleep soon afterwards

She still feels the same for me? Does it mean that she still likes me like she did back then? And oh crap she called me Jichu again! How I wish I could have seen her facial expression when she confessed her feelings for me... She must have looked really cute with her face all red like a tomato!

I was squealing internally when I felt movements coming from beside me. The hands that I was holding just minutes ago started finding its way out of mine and I was thinking if I should tighten my grip on them even more or pretend that I am still asleep and loosen the grip

Without thinking much, I decided on the latter and I loosened my grip on her hands. Within the next few seconds, her hands were no longer in mine and I felt the weight of the bed shifting

It didn't seem as if she had gotten out of the bed yet, so she was probably sitting on the bed. I closed my eyes shut and tried my best to look as if I was still asleep

After waiting for a little longer, Jennie had probably got out of the bed as the bed had creaked a lot and I heard footsteps. I was waiting for the sound of the door opening but I did not hear any. Instead, I only heard footsteps walking towards my side of the bed and they stopped right in front of me

I felt the bed near my face sink down slightly and I assumed it to be because Jennie was resting her hands on top of it. "Good morning Chu" Jennie whispered softly and sweetly before giving my cheek a quick peck. My assumption of her resting her hands on the bed near my face was definitely correct as she had whispered into my ears and even kissed my cheek

Should I pretend to wake up now so I can see her face? Or should I save her from embarrassment and just continue to be asleep?

I wanted to see how she was looking at me and to also see how shock she was. I decided to open my eyes to get her reaction

I opened my eyes wide quickly. The only view I saw before me was Nini again. Nini was the last thing I saw before I fell asleep last night and it had to be the next thing I see again in the morning

Are you kidding me...

I heard the sound of the bedroom door opening and closing quietly and I realised that Jennie had already made her way towards the door while I was debating on what to do

I took my phone that was on the study table and I saw the numerous text messages that were on my lockscreen

Chaeng:

KIM JISOO!!! WHERE ARE YOU?

JUST SO YOU KNOW, CLASSES STARTED 2HOURS AGO

ARE YOU STILL SLEEPING?????

Lalisa:

Yo yo Jisoo you better get your here quickly because Chae is freaking out

She thinks that you have been kidnapped or have been killed

HURRY SHE IS GOING TO CALL THE COPS

What were you doing last night for you to be asleep till now? And you were with Jennie too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I quickly shot out of bed and called Chaeyoung. That chipmunk had always been very protective of me ever since we met and got close and I believe that she would call the cops if I don't let her know about my whereabouts in advance

While the call is getting through, I was taking deep breaths as I was preparing myself for a scolding from Chaeyoung. Soon, the call got through and I heard her voice screaming at the top of her lungs

"KIM JISOO!!" Chaeyoung shouted and I quickly took my phone away from my ears in order to prevent any hearing loss. I was rubbing my ear and it felt as if I had just lost some of my hearings when I heard another voice coming from the call

"Miss Park, could you please not shout during lessons and interrupt my classes?" The voice of the teacher that was teaching our class currently told Chaeyoung off and I heard her apologise to the teacher

"Kim Jisoo. Where the hell are you?"

"Ah... Morning Chaeng"

"Don't you give me any good mornings and answer my god damn question" Chaeyoung hissed and demanded for an answer from me. "Uh... I might have overslept and I forgot about classes"

"You are with Jane right? Why did she forget to come for classes too? Does she want her scholarship revoked?"

"Ye-Yeah I'm with Jane... We'll be there soon!" I ended the call quickly to escape from the never ending questions Chaeyoung was about to throw me with

I quickly left the bedroom and I was greeted with Jennie making some breakfast for us both

"Good morning Jennie" I smiled at her and I saw that she was already dressed up for classes. "Good morning, you should go wash up and get ready to go for class while I make breakfast" She said and I quickly went into the bathroom to wash up
