Present Day, 9 January 2019

Jisoo's POV

"Ringgggg... Ringggg" My alarm sounded as the clock striked at 8 in the morning. I felt around my bed for my phone to turn off the sound that I hated hearing most in the morning. I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep

"Rise and shine Sooya!" My mother said energetically as she opened the door to my room and draw the curtains, causing the sun rays to enter my darkness filled room

"Urgh mum, just 5 more minutes" I groaned as I took the blankets to cover my eyes that were being blinding by the sun

"No honey, you have to get up now otherwise you are going to be late for the first day of university" She said as she pulled the blanket off of me

"Ok ok! I'll get up now" I said as I got off the bed and went to the washroom to get ready

"Sigh, I hate school" I mumbled to myself

I went to take a quick shower to freshen myself up. As I was taking a shower, I suddenly remembered the dream I had last night

It was a dream that I never really liked to have. I wouldn't call it a nightmare because the girl in my dream was definitely an angel, but I didn't like how the story in the dream always reminds me of the happy days I had back then. Those eyes that I loved seeing so much, the smile that always melts my heart and most importantly, her entire being just makes me smile and want to protect her

I miss you...

I closed my eyes and reminisced my childhood days which made me smile unconsciously but my smile soon disappeared as I remembered that she was no longer by my side

Where did you go? Why did you leave me?

Tears started welling up in my eyes as I started getting emotional

"Jisoo!! You have to leave the house in 10minutes!" My mother yelled from the floor below me

"Oh crap!" I got pulled back into reality and started rushing to get out of the shower

I quickly put on a white pullover paired with light blue denim jeans and took my tommy hilfiger backpack. I took quick steps down the stairs and made my way to the door

"I'll be leaving now! See you later mum!" I said my goodbyes before entering my red Maserati and drove off to school

Since young, I was in a prestigious escalator school where all the rich students attended. Because it was an escalator school, almost every student in YG Primary School will end up in YG University and this meant that there will be more prideful and arrogant people. YG University does offer scholarship programmes for smart students who are unable to afford the school fees but these students usually tend to get bullied by the rich students often

I took my phone out and texted Chaeyoung

Jichu:

Chaeng, I'll be reaching your house in around 10minutes

Chaeng:

Ok, I am already outside waiting for you

I saw the text and continued to focus on driving. Soon, I reached Chaeyoung's house and she got in the car

Chaeyoung was someone who I befriended and got close to when I was around 14years old. We were in the same school, different class but in the same club. Because of club activities, we started talking to one another and soon bonded very well. She was also the one who gave me emotional support and was there for me in my toughest times. Now, we are stuck to each other like glue and we always get sick of seeing each other because we see one another almost 24/7 every day

"Good morning Chaeng" I greeted her as she closed the car door

"Morning! I bet you overslept because you reached here 2minutes later than usual"

"What? Why are you even keeping track of the time I reach your place? And for your information, I didn't overslept but I just took a longer time in the shower" I rebutted

"I keep track of the time you reach because knowing you, you are probably going to oversleep one day and I will have to take my own car to school" Chaeyoung said and she looked at me
