Jisoo's POV

Finally realizing that the scholarship girl in my class that is currently being picked on by Seulgi has been the girl I had been looking for ever since her disappearance. She was also the girl whom I did not have a great first meeting with as she had crashed into me when I was entering the class 12years ago

Back then, we were both shorter in height and cuter in our appearances as we were just little kids. But now, we have both grew taller and also matured slightly and we, or should I say, I did not recognize that the little Jennie back then was the Jane in my class right now

Flashback

After meeting Jennie at my house as our parents were both having discussions, I played with her and we exchanged emails to keep in contact with on another. Back then, emails were the way to go and it was the more popular form of contact one would have with another

Before leaving my house, Jennie had passed me her email address on a white piece of paper, '[email protected]'. I took the paper and immediately sent her an email as soon as she had stepped out of my house

When she got home and had already washed up, Jennie had also enter her email to check for any mails and she quickly replied the one I had sent her. Just like this, we started to converse with one another very regularly and I quickly knew more about her

From her love for strawberries, to her dislike for pizza and many more. To add on, we were classmates and even tablemates, which just made us get closer to one another and we soon became bestfriends. If you see Jennie any where in school, you would usually see me as well because we almost practically come as a set

Our first meeting was in 2007 and being with Jennie just made things more fun and time soon passed by in a flash. A year passed, then another, and soon it had already been 3years and we were both 10years old. This would also be the year where I would suffer the most emotionally

"Kim Jisoo! Why are you sleeping again! Go out of the class and stand there to reflect your actions" The math teacher ordered me as I was dozing off in her class as usual. Classes with this teacher were the worst because her tone was monotonous and her way of teaching just does not make me want to learn anymore

I got off my seat and made my way out of class through the front door. Obviously not forgetting being the childish me, I stuck my tongue out at her when she wasn't looking at me which earned some giggles from the class

It has even been 1minute since I stood outside the class when I heard the doors open

Oh is the teacher asking me to go in now?

I looked towards the classroom doors and I saw Jennie coming out of it. "Are you going to the washroom?" I asked Jennie as she closed the doors and walked towards me. "No I am not... I got scolded for sleeping too" She grinned slightly and I did as well

If you had known Jennie, she had always been the most hardworking student in our class and she will never miss a lesson or sleep in class no matter how tired she was. So seeing her out here was a surprise, but I knew that she did so to accompany me. After all we were a 'buy one get one free' set item and the same goes for all the punishments we face, or actually I face

I looked into the class through the windows to see the progress of the class and as expected, the teacher was still at the very same question she talked about since 20minutes ago. "Thankfully we managed to get out of the boring class right?" Jennie peeked through the windows beside me and she was on her tip-toes as she was slightly shorter than me

"Yeah... Sometimes I wonder how you don't fall asleep in class, do you have a secret or something?" I asked Jennie and she simply told me that she just pinches herself whenever she feels sleepy

"Jen... Psst! I think Hanbin is looking at you" I whispered to her as I keep eyeing at Hanbin who keeps looking out of the class frequently. "What are you talking about... I'm sure he is just looking out because he is bored"

"Noooo! Have you seen how he always disturbs you to catch your attention and also offer to help you with stuffs sometimes?" I told Jennie as she seemed to be oblivious to Hanbin's feelings for her

"Even if he does like me, which he doesnt, we are only 10years old and we should be focusing on studying..." Jennie trailed off and finished the last part of sentence in a low whisper that I barely caught "... Plus I like someone else"

"You like someone? Who is it! Spill the beans!" I finally got more excited knowing that Jennie has someone she was interested in. I had always been very interested in people's love affairs and I am always curious to know who they like

"It's a secret" She said and she smirked at me "What?? I thought bestfriends don't keep secrets from each other?" I grumbled while pouting my lips and folded my arms in a way to make me look like I am angry

"Hmm... I'll tell you if you manage to prove me wrong" Jennie suggested and my ears suddenly perked up like a puppy

"What? Prove you wrong in what?"

"I'll tell you who I like if you manage to stay awake for this entire week of math lesson" Jennie
