SinB shook her head while crying. 

Suddenly Sowon’s hair and eyes color became red. Her face became emotionless and SinB swore it was painful to watch the transformation. 

• You’re such a coward. But she is right I am going to kill her anyway. said Sowon. But there is a way for you to join her when she’ll die. You wanna know ? 

SinB moved back as Sowon approached her. 

• Surrender to me and she and you will be together.

• No said SinB weakly. 

She didn’t know why but she suddenly felt breathless but literally breathless. She collapsed on the floor while she was gasping for air. 

• Surrender SinB. said Sowon now on top of her. 

Sowon’s skin was burning just like in SinB’s nightmares except that this time it was really happening. 

• I … can’t … breath. she struggled 

• I know but I can give you air. You want to know how ? 

SinB was just so hopeless that she nodded. 

• Kiss me.

Sowon blow air and magically - but literally magically - SinB could breath again. Yet, when the blow stops SinB couldn’t breath anymore. 

• Do it SinB do it like you mean it.

It was just horrible because besides the need of air, there was still that genuine temptation to kiss her. After all,  dark magic or not, it was still Sowon’s face just inches away. Sowon, the extremely  - SinB would say divinely - beautiful queen of the Mountain Kingdom. 

So SinB started to consider the offer. Totally forgetting or rather ignoring the consequence of such act, she began to approach Sowon’s inviting lips. 

« Don’t SinB ! » She was so used to ignore the magic voice that again she easily disregarded its warning. 

• That’s it, SinB come closer and kiss my lips. said Sowon with a satisfying smile. 

SinB’s eyes were locked on Sowon’s lips. All she had to do now was to press her lips on Sowon’s. She wanted to think about it again but the lack of air was just unbearable. So she closed her eyes but when she did the air came back. 

• SinB said Sowon as her hair went back to it normal color.  

SinB reopened her eyes and the surprise look on Sowon’s face welcomed her. Well, it was normal after all SinB was almost kissing her. Sowon quickly stood up and looked at Umji: 

• Thank you. 

Umji gave her a little smile then she turned towards SinB and offered her her hand. The latter took it and stood up with the help of Umji’s hand. 

Suddenly Yuju appeared with two bags. 

• Umji are you ready ? 

• Wait where are you going ? asked SinB 

• The Sun kingdom. I know how to go there as my parents being storekeepers were always going there. I know where it is because I went there with them when I was younger. However we just went to the border. We need papers to enter it but hopefully I have it on me as I always have my parents' purse on me. Anyway I don’t think they will refuse us so even if you don’t have it, they will let us enter as the situation here is just so alarming.

Umji nodded. 

• Here is the solution said SinB out of the blue. According to that old woman called Wiza, the dark magic has no power in the Sun Kingdom. So Sowon if we go there then we will get rid of that magic ! 

• Maybe I will heal but my kingdom will still die. stated Sowon before she turned towards Yuju: 

• Yuju I have never had the chance yet to thank you. So thank you for everything you have done for her. I hope you will keep on taking care of her.  I failed my big sister’s role so at least I am glad there is someone for her. 

Yuju nodded but then she frowned: 

• Well, you’re going with us so now you will have time to make up for your mistake and spend time with her. 

Sowon looked sad as she shook her head. 

• I wish but I can’t … I am not worthy of that. I have to pay for what I have started. 

• Wait does that mean, you’re not going with us ? asked Umji suddenly shocked and sad at the same time. 

Sowon approached her then she put her hands on Umji’s shoulders. 

• Yewon, you just can’t imagine how much I regret everything. 

• But, you did nothing and I am here alive so why do you torture yourself with something you didn’t do ?! cried out Umji somehow furious. 

• I love you little sister don’t forget it. I am proud that life has given me the chance to meet you again. I am so proud of you. Now go before it is too late. You will see the Sun Kingdom is beautiful so much you feel like in a dream. Sowon explained and she was on the verge of crying while Umji’s tears were flooding like a heavy rain.

Sowon took her in her arms and hugged her tight. Umji cried even more in her embrace. Yuju had also tears in her eyes and SinB was almost crying too. Minutes after Umji broke the hug. She then went to SinB and took her hand.

However SinB dropped it. 

• Sorry Umji 

Umji widened her eyes. How many times had she been in that situation with SinB ? It was always the same so much that she anticipated what was going to say SinB:

• You’re not going with us either, right ? 

SinB nodded. Sowon widened her eyes as she looked at her. She couldn’t understand SinB’s decision. 

• Why ! screamed Umji now crying again. 

• Because I should have died that day my kingdom fell. If I am alive it is only because of the magic.

• And then ? You did nothing in this war ! Life had given you another chance why don’t you grab it ?! Umji was dissolving in tears. 

SinB wanted to take Umji in her arms but the latter didn’t let her do so. It hurt her but she understood Umji. 

• We have to go. reminded Yuju. 

The rest happened so fast. Indeed SinB felt suddenly lips on her own. She wanted to close her eyes but she couldn’t because the kiss was nothing but a bittersweet one just like a forced goodbye. 

• Bye Calm Snow. Her nickname was the last word she heard from Umji with the lingered taste of her lips on her own.

So many things happening there: SinB almost giving in but hopefully was saved by Umji,  SinB "abandonned" Umji again and the sisters's + UmB goodbye 

It's a very emotional chapter if you know what I mean. By the way, do you think Sowon is responsible for what happened ? Do you think SinB should indeed stay or leave with Umji and Yuju ?
