SinB was eating all her plate. 

• Don’t eat too fast or you’re going to throw up. warned Sowon while chucking.

SinB was still in her bed so Sowon brought her the plate. And now Sowon was watching her eat like a proud mother. However SinB quickly noticed Sowon’s eyes on her. She got shy suddenly and stopped eating. 

• Is it not good ? asked Sowon worried. 

• No it is delicious. 

• Then what’s the problem ? asked Sowon 

SinB couldn’t tell Sowon that she was the reason so she came up with a lie: 

• I am taking my time. You’re right I shouldn’t eat too fast. 

Sowon smiled before ruffling SinB’s hair. SinB was surprised by Sowon’s action but deep down she really liked it. 

Suddenly someone knocked at the door. A guard appeared. 

• My queen sorry to disturb you but I have an important announcement. 

• Yes tell me. 

• You told me to watch wether there will be any more fire in the kingdom. 

• Yes I remember that. And then what’s the conclusion ? 

• We have lost this night more than fifty per cent of the kingdom. 

SinB almost chocked on her food and Sowon stood up from her chair. Sowon on the contrary kept her composure. She appeared to be calm but inside she felt really bad because she couldn’t cope with her promise: she couldn’t save her kingdom. 

• So even with Yewon back, it seems that nothing had changed. she stated the truth. 

SinB watched her as she paced up and down in the room. 

• SinB what do you think we can do ? 

SinB really didn’t know. 

• I think we have to kill that black magic. It is still alive inside of you. guessed SinB

• And how do we do that ? asked Sowon. Because if I have to die for that I

• No, cut SinB I am sure there is another way. 

• We don’t have time to search for another way. And I was saying that if I have to die I will do it. 

• No I won’t allow you to do that. 

• Why SinB ? Didn’t you hear the guard ? My kingdom is dying which means that thousands of innocent people are horribly dying in the flames day and night. 

Sowon had a point but SinB refused to even consider that option. 

• It won’t work. You won’t die because you can’t even if you try. 

• And what makes you think that ? 

• Because I have already tried to kill myself and I didn’t succeed. 

Sowon was shocked by the sudden confession but she went back to the main point. 

• Yes but you have a white magic inside of you while I have a dark one. 

• Oh trust me I would rather say that I have the ice magic while you have the fire one. Both are dark. 

• No your’s doesn’t want to destroy your …

• My kingdom ? yes maybe because it has already been destroyed. said sarcastically SinB. But it destroys me as it pushes me to do things against my willing. When I wanted to die I really meant it but it prevented me to do so. When I wanted to go back to the castle to save Umji and Yuju it also discouraged me and hurt me. So no I don’t consider it to be good magic. 

• Yes but it protected you from my attacks. 

• Yes because your magic and mine are ennemies. 

• So that’s the solution ! stated Sowon happily. 

• I don’t understand what’s the solution ? 

• You … you are the solution. 

• And what should I do ?

• You have to kill me. 

SinB widened her eyes.

Umji and Yuju were still in the living room. Suddenly Sowon and SinB appeared in front of them. 

• Why are you crying ? asked SinB when she saw Umji’s face. Yuju wasn’t crying but she looked really sad too. 

• Because our village has been touched by the fire the previous night. No one survived. 

SinB was shocked. The village she knew a lot of people there. She even lived there for days. That woman and that man welcomed her and treated her as if she were their own daughter. They didn’t deserve this terrible end. No one deserved it. 

• Wait. This village isn’t far from here, right ? asked Sowon. SinB, we had to do something and quick. 

• What are you going to do ? There is nothing we can do. said Yuju hopeless. 

• We have found a way. 

• And what is it ?

• SinB has to kill me. Her magic is the enemy of mine. So if she kills me that will surely kill the black magic inside of me. 

• Yes but there is a risk that doing so will kill you in the process. 

• I am willing to try. If I die it is okay, Yewon will reign on the kingdom - of course if that kingdom still exists. 

• I am sorry but I won’t do it. refused SinB

• Why ? 

• I can’t. 

• You don’t have the choice. It is my wish, you’re just the weapon here. And it is okay if I die. 

• No it is not ! I don’t want you to die ! exploded SinB as tears rolled down her cheeks. 

Yuju and Sowon looked at her with a surprised face. While Umji she just couldn’t witness the scene so she left the room. Or maybe it was jealousy ? 

As a result, Sowon’s pain resurfaced.

• No ! she shrieked as she grabbed her head. 

• I am going to search Umji. said Yuju before running out of the room. SinB just nodded. 

• Kill me SinB before it is too late. It is going to kill me anyway. begged Sowon

The situation is getting more and more alarming. Will SinB have to "kill" Sowon ?
