“Are you and Kibum gonna head to Hogsmeade with us later?”

Minho looked up from the cream swirling in his coffee, blinking lethargically at Travis. “What?” He repeated the question, but now it registered in his still sleep-foggy mind. “Uh, I don’t know. I haven’t asked him yet. I might just go back to bed, to be honest.”

Hopefully, Kibum wouldn’t mind a lazy day. He didn’t think he would, but there was already the off chance that he was expecting to go to Hogsmeade, and he didn’t want to disappoint him.

Travis and Seb had already left the table by the time Kibum meandered over to the Hufflepuff side of the Great Hall. Gil scooted over for him to sit beside Minho, hurriedly finishing his breakfast so he could go see Ana, probably.

“So…” Minho looked over at him, his eyebrows raised in question. “What do you wanna do today?”

Minho sighed. “Honestly, nothing.”

“Sounds sorta nice, actually.”

Minho perked up a little. “Yeah?”

Kibum’s gaze searched his own, his smile growing as he nodded. “Yours, mine, or ours?”

“Mine.” Going upstairs to the study closet sounded like more work than he was in the mood for, even with the help of a secret passage.

Once they were safely back in Minho’s dorm room, he rolled onto his bed, his eyes drooping to almost closed until the bed dipped under Kibum’s weight. “Still not sleeping much?” he asked, concern coloring his voice. Minho shook his head, and after a little encouragement from Kibum, he let himself be held. Kibum kissed the crown of his head, a sigh buffeting Minho’s hair. “I’m sure you’ll find out what the next task is soon.”

“I know.”

Two more kisses. Minho closed his eyes. “Probably any day now.” He nodded. “I know it’s easy for me to say not to get stressed out because of it, but I’m sure there’s a reason why it’s taking so long.”

“True, but it’s still worrisome.”

“I know. But guess what?” Minho hummed in question. “Whatever it is, you’re gonna be amazing at it.”

Minho smiled as he propped himself up on his elbows, looking down at Kibum. “Am I?”

“You haven’t disappointed me yet.”

“No?” Kibum shook his head, his smile twinkling in his eyes as Minho leaned down to kiss him.

As tired as he was, he could put off his nap for just a little while longer.
