How long have I been sleeping?

Tearing my eyes open and only to regret it so much in the next second.

 My Eyes!!

The sun rays welcomes me with her bright sunshine smile, stunning me in the process.

Byul forgets to pull the curtain last night when she sleep? Did she stare at the moon last night again?  Hope she knows that sleeping late is gonna to affect her well being, especially her skin… wait that does not apply to her and well, to us. I really blessed to have Byul as my twin sister. She remembers that I’m scared of cold and thus kept me warmth throughout the night.

Closing my eyes, embracing the love and the warmth that I have missed these days to experience these days. Pulling off the comforter that Byul has covered for me, my legs touch the floor and feeling the coolness. That coolness hit me with an urgent message.

My eyes roam to see the mirror that reflect the clock.

8 AM!!!

 I was about dash to the washroom to get dress but my body still froze at the spot. I find myself looking at the mirror, looking at myself in exact.

My face seemed a little different from the last time I saw it? What is it that has changed?  

My hands caressing my face tracing the contour trying to see if it has become bigger or smaller but I cant figure out what has change. Feeling my eyes, nose and mouth, they seemed to be the same as before.

Could it be my cheeks?

 I pinches both of my cheeks as hard as I could. “Ouch!” I exclaim and later laugh out loud. Looking at myself at the mirror and mutters, “You fake well Joy, so well that even I was tricked by you. You should apply to be an actress” I smile widely and give myself a pat on my right shoulder to encourage myself but the next moment my smile drops and I mouth, “Good Job Joy, just fake your way out cos you will never feel pain. Never Ever.”

 That is the moment when my brain report me on the difference that I was previously looking for. Foundling my face once again to confirm the information from my brain, my wide smile returns and I burst out, “My face is getting the glow like having vitamin. It is like having lots of cheese on pizza. I’m so beautiful. No I mean I am getting beautiful-er. It sounds not right. Should I check with google on the right word? Who cares! I’m getting more beautiful day by day.” I proclaim the last sentence with conviction.

After my washup, I  got out of my bedroom and reported to the first thing I like to see. “Good morning, my darling~” I chirp like an early riser bird. My heart just melted when I witness this sight, despite of seeing her almost every day.

Tiger looks out from her rose bed sleepily, stares at me for a bit before she sniffs cutely and once she recognise me, my scent, my greentea scent. Her face lit up showing her cuteness even more.

She is excited to see me as she jumps up and down, waiting me to carry her.

See she is such a heartthrob, isn’t she?

Picking her up and carrying her in my embrace, something that I would love to do every morning. I snuggle my head into her and to smell the flower that I like most, rose. Uttering my true raw emotions to her, “My dear, I miss you, I miss you so much.” She gives me a warm on my left cheeks and starts to cry like this.

“What happen? Did someone bully you during my absence?” I ask anxiously. She replies by knocking her head against my left chest.

“Aigoo, my heart already broke seeing you in tears and now you are making my heart shattered into a million pieces?” I coos.

It works!

She stops banging her head on me and looks at me adoringly.

“Now now try hearing my heart beats.” I encourage.

She obediently rest her head on me as if to listen for my heartbeat.

“You can’t hear my heart beat right?” I question her.

She gazes at me as if waiting for my next sentence.

“Cos my heart skip her beat cos of you~” I drag the last word deliberately and eye her for her response.

She did this in response.

Oh my goodness, I just love to and seeing her like this warm my cold heart. Then she jumps from me and proceed to her study desk.

She looks absolutely busy, isn’t she?

Squatting down and patting her head with full of pride. “Do well in your exams, Tiger Ah! I’m waiting for you to tell me on your glorious result!”

She gapes at me with her big chocolate orbs where I could see the fire of determination in her eyes, telling me that she will be doing her very best in her coming papers. A surge of pride rushes to fill me, warming my heart further. A wide smile spreads on my face and I mouth her, “Please do this for yourself and I love you~<3.”

A tint of red paints on her face. She did this,

as if saying, “Come on, stop being mushy, making me shy so early in the morning.” She counterattacks with an enchanting wink, making me rooted at the ground for a while as I was not ready for the unexpected assault.

* Door’s creaking sound*

Omo, it is dawn already? Byulyi is here to wake me? Argh~ I want to sleep more.

Pulling my red silk comforter closer to me before it gets in the hands of Byulyi. I heard soft and careful footsteps getting closer to me but stops next to my bed. I smell a faint scent of green tea.

Wae aren’t she waking me like normal days? I dont recall smelling her using green tea perfume.

At this moment, my kakaotalk rings announcing me of new message. I don’t want work to spoil this morning of spending time with her so I decide to ignore it but I was greeted with more messages making the sounds non-stop. A smile line is drawn from my left to my right ear. It is a message from her.
