“Mommy I’m a big girl I don’t need this.” Saki whined as Mina put sunscreen on her face.

“You always need sunscreen sweetheart.” Mina nodded, lathering more onto her baby’s face.

“Yeah Saki everyone wears sunscreen every day.” Sana smiled. “Well at least the people that care about their skin.”

“Trust us you will want pretty skin one day.” Momo added, putting sunscreen on Nico’s face.

“Sunscreen is dumb.” Saki whined. “It’s not even hot outside.”

“I’m almost done sweetie.” Mina sighed. “Okay all done.”

“Yay!” Saki giggled. “Park!” Saki ran off to go put her shoes on. 

“Hey Saki you forgot your coat!” Mina chased after her daughter. Sana and Momo both laughed, Mina was such a sweet mom.

“Are you ready to go on a walk sweetie?” Sana picked up Nico once Momo was done putting her sunscreen on.

“Ka-san.” Nico cuddled closer to Sana, burying her face in the crook of Sana’s neck. 

“She’s so clingy.” Momo rolled her eyes. “Just like someone else I know.”

“It’s adorable.” Sana smiled at her daughter, looking at her with all the love in the world as Nico bunched her hands up on Sana’s shirt. “I’m so happy I had you my little star.” Nico wasn’t listening as she cuddled with her mom. Momo smiled at the interaction, Sana was a natural mom. She was so happy they had chosen to have kids, even if they did it later in life. It was beyond worth it. Momo didn’t even know she was capable of being this happy, but with Sana and Mina and their daughters, every day was perfect. It may sound cheesy, but to Momo she wanted days like this to last forever, even if they seemed a bit boring to others. 

“Umma! Ka-san! Let’s go!” They heard Saki yell. Momo took Sana’s hand as they left the living room. Mina and Saki were waiting for them, Hime on her leech with her tiny little tail wagging as they walked out of the house. Momo wouldn’t change things for the world, she loved every day she could spend with these four.

“Saki sweetie stop don’t run off on your own like that!” Mina sighed as she chased after Saki. Since the weather was colder they had been spending more time inside, and that had really been taking it’s toll on Saki. The four year old wanted to run around and play, so their weekly trips to the park were the highlights of the week. 

“I want to play!” Saki yelled back. 

“Do you want to play too Nico?” Sana asked the baby, who was still secure in her arms.

“Play.” Nico giggled.

“Why don’t we go play on the swings then princess?”

“Hey Sana, I’m going to go on my run. I’ll take Hime with me, I should be back in forty five minutes okay?” Momo had started running when they moved to France. It was more safe for her go out in the streets and she found that it really helped relieve her stress. Plus their dog absolutely adored going out on runs with them, Hime was pretty energetic for a small dog. 

“Okay darling, have a good run.” Sana used her free arm to pull Momo into a kiss. Momo grinned before taking off, putting her headphones in as she ran. Sana carried Nico over to the baby swings and put her in one, pushing her slowly while she looked for Saki and Mina. 

“Ka-san!” Saki ran and hugged her leg in a fit of giggles. 

“What are you doing?” Sana asked, still pushing Nico. 

“I’m hiding.” Saki informed. “From Ka-san.”

“Are you playing hide and seek?”

“Yeah.” Saki nodded, hiding behind Sana’s legs. When Mina caught Sana’s gaze Sana just gave her a knowing smile. Mina pretended to look under the playground, hearing Saki erupt into giggles. Mina loved when Saki laughed, it was like reassurance that she was happy. Mina was always worried if Saki was happy and comfortable. Sana and Momo told her she didn’t have anything to worry about, and that Saki was pretty much completely integrated into their family now, but she still worried about it. Adoption was complicated, and Mina just wanted to be sure Saki felt welcome and happy. 

“Shh Saki-chan mommy is going to find you.” Sana told her giggling child. Saki tried to put a bubble into , just causing her to go red in the face as she tried not to laugh. 

“Got you.” Mina snuck up on Saki, picking her up and throwing her over her shoulder. 

“Mommy!” Saki giggled, trying to escape Mina’s grasp. 

“Did Momo go off on her run?” Mina asked. 

“Yeah she did. She said she’ll be back in about forty five minutes.” Sana informed with a smile.

“Mommy it’s your turn to hide.” Saki giggled, still slung over Mina’s shoulder. 

“Okay.” Mina put Saki down. “Count to ten okay?” Mina took Saki’s hands and put them over her eyes. As Saki began counting Mina walked over to the playground and ducked behind the rock wall. Sana rolled her eyes at that, it would probably be hard for Saki to find her there, but Mina was pretty competitive so she even wanted to will games like hide and seek. 

“Saki honey let ka-san give you a hint.” Sana informed Saki once her countdown reached an end. She grabbed the chains of the swing to stop Nico, who wiggled her little legs around to try and move again. 

“No that’s cheating!” Saki nodded. “I need to find mommy on my own.” 

“Mommy… Mommy there.” Nico pointed to the rock wall. 

“Nico!” Saki pouted. “You cheated! I wanted to find mommy by myself!”

“Honey she’s one she doesn’t know any better.” Sana couldn’t help but laugh at the interaction. Ever since Saki had met her, her and Nico had gotten along really well. They were all a bit worried with how Saki would adjust considering they already had Nico when they adopted her, but she seemed to be doing fine.

“Still…” Saki whined. She walked over to the rock wall and began searching around it, finding Mina crouching behind it. 

“What’s wrong?” Mina asked, noticing the look on Saki’s face when she found her. 

“Nico cheated and told me where you were.” Mina laughed at that, looking over at the baby. Sana had resumed pushing her and she looked like she was having the time of her life in the swing. 

“She’s just a baby Saki.” Mina explained. “How about we play tag? She can’t cheat at that.”

“Okay! But I want to play with Ka-san and Nico too, tags no fun with just two people.” Saki’s expression brightened. 

“Sure, why don’t you go ask them?” Saki took off running towards Sana and her baby sister. However before she got there she tripped over her own two feet, causing her to hit the ground hard. Mina was instantly worried and jogged over to Saki to check on her. “Are you okay Saki?” Saki nodded, sitting up with tears on her cheeks. Mina instantly noticed blood on her little knees. “Hey, shh….” Mina picked up Saki, holding her tightly. Tears came to her own eyes at how hard Saki was crying. She wanted to take her daughter’s pain away. She never wanted Saki to get hurt. She wanted to keep her safe and happy forever. Once Saki calmed down a bit Mina carried her over to Sana and Nico, setting Saki down to sit on the ground while she dug through the baby bag to find the first aid kit. 

“Saki that looked like a pretty hard fall, I’m sorry baby.” Sana looked down at her daughter sympathetically. Saki stayed quiet, still really upset. Mina dug out the antiseptic and slowly put it on Saki. Once her knees were covered with hello kitty bandaids Saki reached her hands out to be picked up, Mina happily obliging. When Saki was upset she tended to get really quiet until she was cheered up.

“Hey Saki why don’t we go look at the ducks? We can feed them if you want?”

“That’s a great idea, why don’t Nico and I come too?” Sana stopped the swing and pulled Nico out of the swing, putting her on her hip. Saki nodded in agreement, letting Mina carry her over to the pond. Once they were there Sana took some food out of the baby bag and broke a few pieces off. Mina Saki on the grass and put Saki down, giving her a bit of food. A duck wondered over for food and Saki couldn’t help but smile at the duck. 

“Here you go Duckie.” Saki handed the duck some food. Mina and Sana sighed in relief when Saki didn’t get her fing
