It has only begun...

Forever Young

(A/N- Another update because I owe you guys one!)

 “where do I sign up to see you like this every morning?” Hanbin asked as he folded a couple of strands of hair behind Jennie’s ear. A shy smile was plastered on her face. Hanbin leaned in and kissed her on cheek.

“right here?” A small giggle escaped Jennie’s mouth.

“Here?” Hanbin kissed her forehead. “Here?” Again he planted a peck on her nose.

“Stop” Jennie said playfully before earning a kiss on the lips.

“Wait no, right here.” Hanbin smiled. Jennie encircled her arms around his nape and continued the kiss. Hanbin tilted his head, deepening their kiss and taking full control of it. His hands slid underneath the blanket. Grasping onto Jennie’s thighs, making her lose her breath at his sudden aggressiveness.

“H-Hanbin..” Jennie said out of breath.

“Yeah? Oh! I’m sorry! I forgot you have work today.” Hanbin said and quickly rolled to his side of the bed.

“Are you gonna come to the party tonight?” Jennie asked.

“Of course. I want to see you talk about the promotions and see you in general.” Hanbin answered.

“I’m a little scared.” Jennie admitted. Hanbin gave her hand a light squeeze.

“You’ll do good up there love, I know it.”

Jennie couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.

“Thanks.”

“Now go shower before you’re late.” Hanbin said.

“Care to join?” Jennie asked taking Hanbin a back.

“Yeah but it’s not my fault if something happens.” Hanbin smirked. Feeling embarrassed Jennie playfully threw a pillow at his face.

“I’m kidding. Yes, I’ll join you.” Hanbin chuckled.

Chaeyoung’s POV

I sat up and gently rubbed my eyes. God, what is this feeling? My head was banging and I felt sluggish. Blurry images replayed in my head as I tried remembering what happened last night. Wait... this isn’t my hotel room?! I felt my throat backing up and ran towards the restroom. The wave of nausea that hit me was so intense that I hardly made it to the toilet bowl before I emptied my stomach. My eyes widened at the disgusting sight of vomit. A few knocks were at the door. But before I could take another step to open it. It had already unlocked.

“Good morning.” Junhoe smiled cheekily.

“Is this your doing?” I asked full of anticipation as I flushed the toilet and wash my mouth with water.

“Yeah I didn’t know you had such low tolerance for alcohol.” He took a few steps towards me.

“Wait, what am I doing here?! Did we sleep together?!!”

He let out a chuckle and sat on the bed.

“I didn’t know the code to your room so I brought you to mine. Don’t worry I left after tucking you in. I may be a player but I would never take advantage of a girl.” He explained. Ouch.. I didn’t mean for it to turn out that way.

“I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that..” I said apologetic.

“It’s fine. How are you feeling?” He asked and narrowed his brows at me.

“I feel a little under the weather” I answered.

“Yeah it’s called a hangover. You should go wash up and eat very little. Also stay hydrated.”

Hangover? This is what I get for trying to look cool yesterday.

“I didn’t do anything embarrassing yesterday did I?”

He smiled before answering my question. A smile?! Oh god.. a smile. This is bad.. that means I definitely did something!..

“No you just cried a lot.” He answered.

“Oh...” I said under my breath but loud enough for him to hear.

“Anyways, can I get my room back? Unless you want to share?” He smirked.

“I-I’ll get going!” I quickly replied before walking out the room.

~~~
I walked to the cafeteria and saw everyone eating. I approached the table and sat down.
“Are you feeling okay Chae- I mean Rosé?” Lisa asked.
“Yeah” I said reassuringly.
“You have a hangover don’t you? The Rosé I know eats more than 1 piece of toast.” Lisa joked. She’s correct but I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything. I didn’t really have an appetite and the smell of everything else made me feel nauseous.
“Indeed I do. I feel terrible right now and just want to lay in bed all day.” I complained.
“Aww! You’ll feel better by tomorrow. I promise! I’ll even go buy you some medicine.” Lisa explained. I flashed her my biggest smile and took a small bite out of the toast.
“You know what’s worst than a hangover? Massage Junhoe’s back.” Yunhyeong whined.
“Yah! You owed me from last time when I carried you on my back.” Junhoe argued.
“What are you talking about?” Yunhyeong said in confusion.
Is he hurt or something? Why would he need his back massaged?.
“During basketball season when you hurt yourself.” Junhoe retorted.
“Hey, no one told you to sleep in the car.” Yunhyeong defended. My eyes immediately averted towards Junhoe. He slept in the car? Now I feel terrible for sleeping in his room... guilt was eating me up. I was aware that he didn’t want me knowing. He even avoided eye contact with me.
End of POV
~~~

Ten joined his friends at the table and glanced at Lisa. Who was talking to Yunhyeong. She purposely didn’t look at him nor greet him because of what happened last night. There was an awkward tension between the two but Lisa was making it worse. She acted as if Ten was invisible.

“Where Hanbin and Jennie?” Ten asked.

“Hanbin should be down here in a minute or two and Jennie is working.” Junhoe answered.

“What about Taeyong?” Ten added.

“He went out.” Seulgi answered.

“Are you guys going to practice before the performance?” Chaeyoung asked.

“Yeah a little warm up. We have to save up our energy, especially Lisa.” Seulgi answered.

“Huh?” Lisa said.

“I said you have to save up your energy for the duet and the performance.” Seulgi explained.

“Oh yeah...” Lisa said and sipped her orange juice.

“I can’t wait to see you dance! The way you move your body is incredible.” Yunhyeong said lovingly. Ten could barely swallow his food due to Yunhyeong’s statement. Lisa began blushing, angering Ten.

“I’m gonna practice first.” Ten said and got up from the table.

“Is he okay?” Seulgi asked.

“Just let him cool down.” Junhoe answered.

Lisa stole a glance at Ten as he was walking away. Why was everything so awkward? Why couldn’t she look him in the eye or say anything? Was all Lisa could think about.

Taeyong’s POV

“Oh wait!” A women shouted and sprinted into the elevator. I knew that voice all too well and of course the taste in fashion. Jennie bowed at a 90 degree angle not aware of Who i was yet.

“Thank you so much sir-“

She raised her head up and flashed her usual gummy smile. I cleared my throat and stepped aside to give her some room in the elevator. Well this isn’t awkward...

“Thanks.” She said. I looked at her and smiled.

“How have you been?” She asked.

“Good, and you?” I answered.

“Great... uh Seulgi told me that you haven’t been yourself lately so I just wanted to check up on you.” She explained.

“Seulgi told you that?” I said in confusion.

“Yeah and if something’s wrong you know you can tell her right? She’s your best friend Taeyong. She cares for you.”

I guess I’ve been a pretty bad friend lately. I shouldn’t give Seulgi the cold shoulder. The elevator stopped at her destination.

“I’m well aware but thanks and good luck on tonight.” I replied.

“You too, break a leg tonight.” She smiled. As soon as the doors closed I let out a heavy sigh. It was going to be my first performance after 5 years. I needed all the courage I could receive to follow through with this.

End of POV

~~~
“So what happened last night?” Yunhyeong asked.
“W-what do you mean?” Lisa asked.
“When I was drunk.” Yunhyeong replied.
“You were being stupid. End of the story.” Hanbin retorted.
“Was I?” Yunhyeong asked.
“I don’t know, I wasn’t there to see it.” Junhoe chuckled.
“Then where were you?” Yunhyeong said.
“Sleeping.” Junhoe lied. Chaeyoung felt a little hurt. She shouldn’t have expected him to actually tell his friends what he did. He had way too much pride and that’s what Chaeyoung disliked about him.
“Did you guys know that Taeyong told Jennie he liked her at Bobby’s party?” Yunhyeong opened his big mouth. Hanbin felt hurt that Jennie would hide something like that but he chose to believe that she had a reason for it.
“I’ll be right back.” Hanbin excused himself.
“You idiot!” Junhoe retorted.
“I didn’t mean to!” Yunhyeong defended.
“Did you make him mad?” Lisa asked.
“Who knows...” junhoe replied.
“So Rosé do you think you’ll find the love of your life here?” Yunhyeong said, changing the subject. Junhoe quickly stared at Chaeyoung, hungry for her answer.
“That’s a myth.” Junhoe interrupted
“Everything is a myth to you, including love. You playboy.” Yunhyeong argued. Spending the past few days with Junhoe almost made Chaeyoung forget who he really was. But hearing everything snapped her back into reality.
“I think it’s a 50/50 chance that I’ll find the love of my life here in Jeju. Myth or not people can believe. I’m just gonna go with the flow.” Chaeyoung replied.
“You always reply carefully to everything. But you know, I think I already found the love of my life. Before stepping foot on Jeju.” Yunhyeong explained.
“Really? Who?” Lisa asked.
“Awwww who’s the lucky girl?” Chaeyoung asked.
 “He says this every time.” Junhoe rolled his eyes.
“I won’t say who but I can give out a hint. She’s beautiful and has the most gorgeous smile.” Yunhyeong answered.
“Awww that’s so cute!” Chaeyoung cheered.
“Aww, introduce me to her someday!” Lisa added. Yunhyeong let out a chuckle. He found it funny how Lisa wished to be introduced to herself.
Jennie’s POV
This is it, everything should go as planned.  I announce everything in the beginning, Lisa and them will perform, and everything will fall from there..
“Nervous?” A voice said.
I turned around and threw my arms around Hanbin. He alone could make everything better.
“Extremely..” I replied.
“Relax Love, you’re going to do fine. You’re Jennie Kim. My girlfriend and the over achieving daughter of Mr. Kim.” Hanbin explained. I giggled a bit and let out a small sigh.
“I guess...”
He cupped my face and stared into my eyes.
“Breathe, you’re going to do fine. This is what you practiced for. This is nothing to you. And if anything were to happen, I’ll come running towards the stage to save you.” Hanbin smiled. Everything he said was just perfect. It’s what I really needed to hear.
“Thank you.” I smiled and planted a kiss on his lips.
“You got this.” He said. I nodded my head and walked towards the the spotlight. The crowd was very big and I even spotted some of my fathers friends and partners. I picked up the mic and cleared my throat.
“I see that everyone made it, thank you for attending the ceremony. My father could not make it due to his recovery so I will be taking his place. The company has been working on a project for the past 3 years. Everyone has put their blood and sweat into this. So I want to say thank you to everyone that participated. We pronounce to you all, the long awaited product.” I pointed to a corner where the light flashed at. A red car was present leaving everyone at awe. The applause was loud and in sync.
“The people we teamed up with to create this self driving vehicle is Seungri’s tech!” I said and joined the applause as Seungri and his team made an entrance.
“Thank you! Thank you! Its an honor to be in a partnership with you and you’re father! He’s a great man and I hope that the recovery is going well.” Seungri said.
“Thank you.” I replied.
“So The official testing of the car will be held tomorrow around 3 in the afternoon. We will test it’s speed, it’s technology, and most importantly the self drive control.” Seungri explained. I went back stage and drank some water to calm myself down. My part was finally over.
“You did amazing.” Hanbin smiled.
“Woah! You looked so cool up there!” Chaeyoung complimented.
“Thanks guys.” I said shyly.
“Oh look! They’re gonna perform!” Chaeyoung cheered.
“I’m gonna go get us some drinks.” Hanbin whispered. I nodded my head and joined Chaeyoung as we watched from the monitor.
“I want the real experience and I need to record this! Unnie I’m gonna step outside and join the crowd.” She explained.
“Alright go ahead!” I chuckled.
End of POV
~~~

As soon as the music started the dance team quickly responded with their sharp moves. Being in sync throughout the whole routine is what really blew the crowds mind.

“Woah!!”

“Wow aren’t they something?!”

The crowd instantly became their fans and began cheering them on.

“Come on! I can’t even see their faces!” Chaeyoung complained while trying to zoom her camera closer. The overexcited crowd kept getting in her way. The pictures she got were pictures of the crowd’s arms.

“Need help?” Junhoe asked.

“No I’m fi-“ before Chaeyoung could finish her sentence. Junhoe snatched the camera out of her hands and began zooming into the dance team.

“Are these good enough?” Junhoe asked and handed her the camera. To Chaeyoung’s surprised they were better than she expected.

“They actually look like a professional took them.” Chaeyoung complimented.

“Are you that happy?” Junhoe asked as he stared at Chaeyoung’s lips. Her smile wouldn’t fade. She was extremely happy that Junhoe got some really good pictures for her. It was everything since she planned on sending it to her parents to prove that she was having a good time. She wanted to brag about having talented friends.

“Yes! Thank you!!” Without even realizing it. Chaeyoung wrapped her arms around Junhoe and jumped up and down with joy.

This feeling was brand new to Junhoe. His heart was pacing faster than normal.

“Uh.. you’re welcome..” junhoe replied. Chaeyoung quickly pulled away from the hug.

“Sorry, I got a little too excited.. I’m just glad I could send these to my mom.” Chaeyoung explained.

“Oh so that’s why you were trying so hard to take pictures?” Junhoe asked.

“Yeah I want to show her that I’m doing fine..” Chaeyoung smiled but it was all a disguise to how she really felt about being in Korea. Junhoe was aware of how sad she was and of how she was beating herself down.

“You shouldn’t lie to your mom.” Junhoe said, earning a confused look from Chaeyoung. “Last night you cried to me about missing home, your family, and about feeling insecure.”

Chaeyoung was embarrassed and shocked. She couldn’t believe she told Junhoe such things.

“Ah.. I was drunk.” Chaeyoung let out a nervous laugh.

“Drunk or not. Don’t lie to her and don’t think about yourself that way. You mean a lot to us, to me. You’re not boring and you don’t need to do things to fit in. We think you’re perfect just the way you.” Junhoe explained.

“Wow... thank you.. I can’t believe this is coming from you.” Chaeyoung chuckled.

“Yeah so don’t you dare change yourself.” Junhoe demanded.

“You too, stop pretending to be something you’re not.” Chaeyoung let out.

“What are you saying?” Junhoe asked.

“Stop being afraid to say what you want to say. You have too much pride and it’s dumb. You’re also a nice person deep down so don’t go around threatening people. What are you? A thug?” Chaeyoung explained. Junhoe couldn’t help but laugh.

“I’ll stop since you said so.” He smiled.

~~~~
“Hanbin?” Nayeon questioned. Hanbjn turned around.
“Oh.. hey?” He replied.
“What are you doing?” Nayeon asked.
“Grabbing a drink for Jennie and I how about you?” Hanbin answered, stabbing Nayeon in the heart with a single statement.
“Enjoying the show.” Nayeon smiled.
“Well have fun.” Hanbin said. He grabbed the drinks from the bartender and began walking away.
“Ahh!” Nayeon shouted as she fell down.
“Oh my god! Ma’am are you okay?!” The bartender asked. Hanbin sat his drinks down and approached the scene.
“Are you okay??” He asked.
“N-no.. my leg.” Nayeon complained.
“Here.” Hanbin lended her a hand and helped her up. She fell onto him and gripped on his arm for support.
“I can’t walk on it... Hanbin it hurts so bad..” Tears rolled down Nayeon’s eyes as she tried applying pressure to her injured leg.
“Alright alright, I’ll help you. Just take light steps.” Hanbin said.
~~~

It’s been 10 minutes since Hanbin left. Feeling impatient Jennie quickly called Hanbin.

Nayeon felt the vibration of the phone that sat on the bench and reached over to grab it.

“Love ❤️” Nayeon read the caller ID and smirked.

“Hello?” She answered.

Jennie was all kinds of confused. Why was a girl answering Hanbin’s phone?! Why was that girl Nayeon?!

“Hanbin?” Jennie said.

“Nayeon, actually.”

“Why do you have his phone?” Jennie asked rudely.

“Obviously we’re together.” Nayeon answered.

“Where is he?! I don’t have time to play your games. Tell me where Hanbin is!” Jennie argued.

“What’s that? I’m sorry the connection is terrible.” Nayeon hung up the phone and smirked. The game has only begun.
