CHAPTER 2

“Oh! Seongwoo lost?”

Jeongyeon heard a voice behind. Jeongyeons’ senses are usually sensitive, and yet she wasn’t able to notice the other one's presence .As a reflex, she grabbed her bow and pointed her arrow immediately at the person behind her

“Whoa!! Relax daughter of Hades!” the boy exclaimed while playing with his sword. He doesn’t seem very surprise at all

She notices his tall figure leaning on the tree. The boy has a wide shoulder, long legs and slender fingers.His ash blonde hair is ruffled, strands sticking out everywhere with leaves in it. He wears a regular camp shirt yet it didn’t cover his handasome face. But for her, the most noticeable to him is his dog-like grin.

“You got three seconds to jump out in this tree,” Jeongyeon said sternly

“Nope, Seongwoo would kill me! He told me to obtain your flag no matter what” he said while pouting cutely

“No can do” Jeongyeon gripped her bow readying for release

She heard him sigh.

“Fine! I will not go take that flag of yours” he said as he returns in sword to its sheath, “but in one condition” he said while looking at her

“Jump or get shoot,” jeongyeon said without any hesitation. She is not interested conversing with him

“ Aishhh, can you at least listen to what I am saying?” he said while stomping his feet makes the tree shake a little bit

Jeongyeon sighed, she usually had the patience for anything. Woojins tantrums and hot-headedness is a good practice for her. That’s why she couldn’t understand is her irritation towards this supposed-to-be grown-up man in front of her.

“what are you a five-year-old kid? Stop stomping your goddam feet!” she said without covering the irritation on her voice

The guy stopped and grinned, “So do I have your attention now?”

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes, “what do you want?”

“My condition is simple,” he said still smiling, and Jeongyeon swear that she would release her arrow if he will continue doing that

“what is it?” she asked uninterestedly

“I want to see you?” he said

Her eyebrows raised” excuse me?”

“I mean…” he smiles and scratches his forehead, “I want to sse your face”

Jeongyeon immediately looked into his eyes. Is this guy serious? Why would he be interested in my face?

“So, your condition on not taking our flag is seeing my goddamn face?” she asked with disbelief

The person in front her nodded as he agree,  bright smile is still evident on his face

Jeongyeon sighed and checked herself. Right now she is wearing her above the knee shorts paired with her comfortable navy blue hoodie that covering most of her face; she is also wearing her eyeglasses, and she knows that her face is not that entirely visible due to her long bangs

Jeongyeon smirked, “then my answer is no” she released her arrow immediately aiming for the persons left shoulder.

The man’s agility is no joke, it’s the same no much faster than Woojins. He immediately docked and deflected the arrow using the sheath of his sword

Jeongyeon was preparing for another shooting when she heard Jinyoung screaming. She looked at the ground. And she swears that she could see strong winds swirling on Sangcheols. At that moment Jeongyeon knew that Jinyoung was in trouble

“come back Jinyoung!” Jeongyeon shouted

but… Jinyoung hesitated

“just comeback dammit!” she shouted ignoring the boy's hesitation.

Jinyoung followed her instruction, but it seems that Sangcheols wind is following him. When Jeongyeon could feel the substantial impact in the tree they are standing, she knew that she is in trouble. Jeongyeon tried her best to maintain her balance.

“Grab my hand!” She heard the guy that she is fighting earlier shouted.

Jeongyeon looked him and saw him extending his arms for help. She choose to ignore the guys’ hand, Jeongyeon was more worried about Jinyoung

Jinyoung can you hear me? Where are you? Are you back already? She asked as she noticed that the wind is getting stronger

I’m back Noona she heard him answered

She sighed as a relief. I guess Zeus son is too strong for you huh?

Suddenly, Jeongyeon suddenly felt a strong gripped in her hand. She looks at it and saw the same guy trying to pull her out from the strong wind earlier

“I told you to grab my hand, not to look at it dammit” She heard him saying while pulling her “and that damn Sangcheol should control his ing power!”

The guy was too focused on pulling her that he didn’t notice that branch that they are standing broke. Jeongyeon could feel her body falling so fast towards the ground. She couldn’t move properly because wind is still too strong and she knew that she could obtain serious injury from this fall.

Jeongyeon braised herself preparing her body in anticipation of painful landing. After few moment instead of the dry land she felt that her body dropped at some water, she slowly opened her eyes. She almost drowned to her surprise when she discovers that she and the man who grabbed her are in some large water ball that serves as their cushion from the fall.

The water broke and dropped the two of them on the ground.

“That was pretty close…” she heard him saying while she catches her breath
