“isn’t that Daniels necklace?” she heard him suddenly blurted out

Jeongyeon looked Jisung, brows forrowed

“Hyung… a-are you sure? There are many necklaces similar on that one. It can’t be his” Jeongyeon said hoping that Jisung would agree to her. Jeongyeons mind is now starting to get confused. Her heart pounds faster, and her strength is getting weaker

It cant be his right? Too much coincidence she thought

“I am pretty positive, Daniel showed it to me once years ago he said it is from his first love. That necklace has words inside. The words are pretty poetic, so I happen to memorize it, as I recalled it says da-“

So whenever my mind wanders, it always finds it’s way back to you.”

“how did you…” he looked at her confusedly

 Jeongyeon showed her necklace, unlike the gold necklace that the empusa was holding, it is a silver one. Aside from its color the two necklace is almost identical

“jeongyeon why do you have the same one…” Jisung looked at her and the necklace bewilderedly

Jeongyeon wanted to scream, but her mind is very obscure right now

She heard clashing of swords in her sorroundings, she ignored it. But she has no strength to fight back because of sudden revelation

Why she didn’t saw it, why she didn’t notice the Daniel and Euigeon is one person?

Seven years ago, it was the moment where she thought she lost everything.she has so many questions right now, like how come they don’t remember each other?  Hows his life right now?

Jisungs yelp makes her eyes open, He look at the older. he is somewhat struggling, he is bleeding and still limping by the look of it she knows that the Empusa is stronger now than she met years ago. He look at Jihoon and jaewhan, both of them are tired from fighting those monsters. She look at Daewhi who is currently healing Jihyo

Jihyo. How could she forget about her? She remembered the lifeless Daewhi, Euigeons last word and now Jihyo. All of the sudden it is hard to breath.

Am I going to lose another one?

Jeongyeon struggles for air. She is hyperventilating

She is now gasping for air

“it is my fault…” she whispered ignoring the fact that she is breathless. She has too many questions in her mind. Questions that can be answered by a one person

 “Sungjae” she called him

Sungjae appeared in front of her looking so worried

“my lady are you by chance-“

“is Daniel him?” Jeongyeon said as if she doesn’t need any confirmation from him

Sungjae stayed in silent in the midst of the clashing of sword and screaming of people. And Jeongyeon couldn’t handle the noise. She can’t breath. She didn’t know that breathing was this difficult.

She is suffocating and it is painful. She clenches her chest as she try to breath but its no use she is still out of air. Jeongyeon closed her eyes and scream on her lungs out. All of the sudden as if a strong gush of wind appeared in the battlefield.

But it is not a strong wind, it is a blue fire. A rare blue fire. It is a beautiful electric sapphire.

But for Jeongyeon, no matter how pretty it is, she despises it

It’s been years since she saw one. The same blue fire that burned the orphanage down. Also the same blue fire she thought that turned Euigeon into ashes

The fire engulfed the monsters that almost killed jaewhan and Jihoon. It also scorch the empusa the made jisung bled. She could hear them screeching in pain. But she doesn’t care about them. She wanted them gone in her sight

“don’t worry I’ll always by you side” she remembered the feeling when his hand slowly left her cheek as he close his eyes

she recalled Daehwi smiled bitterly then said “ of course that is real! I am dead!”

“don’t worry Jeongyeon, I got your back!” She recollected Jihyos last word to her

“Noona stop!” Daewhi shouted, trying to reach her but the fire is too strong.

Jeongyeon could hear shouting from her surrounding but her mind is muddled right now

“noona! Stop or else youre going to kill them together with those monsters!” Daewi shouted hoping that it will reach her

And it really reaches her. She opened her eyes and saw her friends are struggling so that they won’t be engulfed by the fire too. She stopped screaming and suddenly she can breathe again

When Jeongyeon stopped screaming, the fire almost died down together with. It’s almost like a reflection on Jeongyeons rage. Jeongyeon bitterly chuckled on her self, she knows that the fire really is an appropriate representation of her emotional outburst

Her friends are dazed on what happen because it is the first time they saw something like that. Jeongyeons knees gave up, her strength was consumed by her sudden outrage

“noona!” Jihoon run towards her franctically and the younger was followed by Jisung and Jaewhan.

“Sungjae answer me…”Jeongyeon asks helplessly.

She begged, she is now crying. “ is Daniel and Euigeon one person?”

Sungjae didn’t answered back she just stared at her.

 “Noona!” a voice interrupted them. And they recognized that voice. It’s Daewhis

Jeongyeon looked at the younger and she saw him in tears. Her anger vanished and was replaced by worry towards her dongsaeng. She walks towards him. Jisung and the other followed her at Daewhis side

“Daewhi-“

“noona, what should I do? Jihyo noona still won’t wake up” Daewhis eyes is now pooling with tears

“did you heal her?”Jisung asks

“I already did that hyung, but it just that she won’t wake up” Jaewhan answered Jisung

“Daewhi, did you tried all of it?” Jihoon asks the younger wooriedly

“I did, I use all the chants I have” Daewhi sniffled

Jisung doesn’t seem convinced wanted to make sure “did you-“

“Daewhi is the best healer here in the camp hyung” Jeongyeon said a word at last. Jihoon didn’t argued back because they both knew that. Daewhis ability to heal is superb.

“so she is gone?” Jaehwan said in in a monotone, it seems that He is haering something ridiculous

All of them stayed quiet. Jaehwan started sobbing and jihoon screamed. Jisung is now trying to calm Jihoon. And Jeongyeon was unable to speak a word
