CHAPTER 11

“you're Kang Daniels date at the dance tonight?” Nayeon excitedly exclaimed. Nayeon decided to visit her cabin that morning to have a “girl bonding” together with her and Jihyo

Jeongyeon just nodded as a response because she too busy eating her ramen

“Why Am I the only one who’s excited?” the girl asks as she eyed Jihyo who is also busy blowing the hot food

“because we already knew that more or less Kang Daniel would be Jeongyeons date”Jihyo shrugged then eat the cooled down noodles

“yeah, but isn’t it kinda exciting considering that it will be Jeongyeons first dance?” she smiled showing her bunny front teeth

“not really” Jeongyeon answers at last

“why?”Nayeons eyebrows furrows

“because its just a usual hang-out minus the other crew plus I am positive that I won't dance tonight” she simply answers and Jihyo nodded as she agreed

“your such a party pooper, how about you Jihyo? Whose your date?”

“Jaewhan”

“Kim Jaewhan? come on, don’t you have other with options” Nayeon dismayed

“whats wrong with Jaewhannie?” Jihyo defended the older

“no offence. Jaewhan is cute and talented; it's just that the guy doesn't know the word being quiet. He was just too loud in my opinion.”

Jeongyeon and Jihyo agreed because Jaewhan is indeed too loud for them to handle sometimes

“so I take that you'd be Sangcheols date” Jeongyon said it not in a question form

Nayeons eyes sparkled as she giggled cutely, “of course! Who else?”

“so what are you going to wear Jeongyeonnie?” again Nayeon asks excitedly

Jeongyeon shrugged and continued eating, “the usual.”

Nayeons eyes widened, “usual?  What usual? The hoodie and the pants?!”

“whats wrong with hoodies?” Jeongyeon pouted as she is offended the way Nayeon reacted

“there's nothing wrong with hoodies on a daily basis, but for the dance? Believe me, you'd be the worst dresser ever!?” she exaggeratedly exclaimed

“what should I wear then?” she meant to ask sarcastically but judging the way Nayeons smile, she isn’t sarcastic enough

“how about a dress.”

Jeongyeons snorts almost choking from her ramen, “dress? Trust me, and it would take a million years to me to agree to wear a dress.”

“well, maybe that million years is happening right now” Nayeon answers, “where is your room?”

Jeongyeon pointed her room half-mindedly because she is almost halfway done on her ramen

“good, let's go to your room” she said in an authoritative voice, “stop eating that or else you'll look fat at the dance”she said as she pulls Jeongyeon towards her room leaving her ramen. Jihyo followed them as she was also excited what would Nayeon do to her best friend

 “I told you I don’t own a dress,” Jeongyeon said irritably and sat on her bed as Nayeon starts to rummage in her closet

“Yoo Jeongyeon, you are a girl. And a girl should atleast own a single dress and heels” Nayeon said as she continues the search, “and why the hell all your clothes are either white or black shirts?”

“because I like it?”

Nayeon rolled her eyes but then smiled as she found something. ”there it is. I thought you said you don’t own one?” she said as she reveals a black dress in knee length. The sleeves are black but seethrough. It has a playful print of lips and make-up. Overall the dress is simple and not too girly that would fit Jeongyeons taste

“Oh! That’s my gift from two years ago!”Jihyo exclaimed as she recognized the dress

“nice choice Jihyo” she gave the younger a thumbs-up then turned to Jeongyeon

“you young lady,are going to wear this tonight”Nayeon commanded

“no”

“yes you are” Neyeong pushed the dress towards her

“nope impossible.” Jeongyeon is still resisting

“yes, you can!”

“why the hell should I wear a freaking dress tonight!”Jeongyeon snapped

“because Daniel would be laughing stock if you show up wearing a hoodie” Nayeon reasoned out

Jeongyeon kept quiet, and she is internally debating whether she would wear a dress for the sake of that puppy

Jeongyeon sigh, “fine! In one condition” she said as she saw Nayeon gave a bright smile

“okay, what condition?” Nayeon crossed her arm staring directly at Jeongyeon

“I got to choose the shoes” Jeongyeon stared back knowing Nayeon, the girl would choose 6-inches heels for her. And she wouldn’t let that happen

Nayeon took a long paused, “call, but you have to wear a make up” she insisted

“bu-fine but it must be light make up” Jeongyeon is still staring at Nayeon hoping that the older agree

“okay. don’t worry, Jihyo and I will do our best so that Kang Daniel would never leave by your side tonight. Right Jihyo?”

Jihyo nodded enthusiastically

Jeongyeon out breath thinking if it is really a right choice to be Kang Daniels date tonight

“can you stop walking back and forth Daniel!”Jisung stopped fixing his hair and commanded Daniel for the nth time that night.

Daniel stopped and obediently took a seat. Jisung resumed his activity when he hear Daniel unconsciously started tapping his feet on the floor

“again, can you stop doing that?”Jisung groaned

“but hyung I’m nervous” the guy exclaimed, “what if she'd back out because she changed her mind.”

Jisung wanted to smack him but stopped himself because he doesn’t want to mess with Daniels' hair. He looked at him again

Daniel is ready for tonights, and he looks so stunning on his ash grey turtleneck covered by business style blazer, it is adorned black look with small but catchy designs and jewellery. He playfully paired with skinny black jeans and black sneakers. And Without a doubt, Many girls would fall to Daniel again all over tonight

“you know she wouldn’t do that” He sighed,” now can you please leave, just go” he raised his hand and wave at Daniel

“Hyung, won’t you come with me” Daniel pleaded

“Yah! What Am I, A chaperone? Or do you want me to be Jeongyeons date instead?”

“Hyung…”

“I’ll  give you five seconds to set out of my sight or else, I’ll call Jimin to fetch Jeongyeon tonight” the older threatened

“Hyung!!” Daniel eyes widened

“five…” Jisung closed his eyes and strated counting

“ but I’m nervous.”

“Okay, get over it, four…” he continued

“How do I look?”

“you look good, three..”

“do I smell?”

“two…Okay I’m going to call Jimin now”He threatened as he opens his eyes

“Hyung that’s not fair!”

“okay hyung I’ll get going now wish me luck” Daniel panicked and walked fast towards Jeongyeons Cabin , so fast that Jisung almost laugh when he saw him almost tripped

Jisung chuckled, “stupid, look at you. You look grown up” He whispered as he shakes his head then resumed into fixing his hair.

Daniel has been standing at Jeongyeons cabin door for almost five minutes now, and yet he can’t still find his courage to knock

He swallowed his saliva and took a breath for the nth time that night; Daniel shook his hand to release his nervousness.

“You can do it niel, you can do it” He mumbled it like a mantra

“Come on Daniel, It’s just a date” he tried to convince himself

Daniel release a long breathe and manage to knock the cabin's door.

“Coming!”He heard someone shouted and Daniel recognizes it as Jihyos.

He could hear some commotion from inside and some noises

“yah don’t pull it!”He barely heard Nayeons voice

“You put too much!” Jeongyeons voice talk back

Daniel laughed after hearing them; suddenly door swung open. He looks at his front and saw Nayeon and Jihyo smiling sweetly at him. Daniel smiled back then look at his date for tonight, he couldn’t see her clearly at ffirst but Nayeon pushed the girl towards him

Daniels breathe hitched when he saw the her. Jeongyeon looks so stunning.Daniel, is half expecting that Jeongyeon would just wear her usual get up in a skirt but right now she is wearing a knee-length dress which suits for her. It is not y but it emphasizes Jeongyeons shape. Jeongyeon partnered her dress with white sneakers. And even though the girl is pouting right now, he also noticed that they applied a light make-up on her that emphasizes her beauty
