Hushed whispers can be heard from the doorway of his room when he finally comes to and Junmyeon feels like absolute . He sits up, taking a deep breath, but it doesn't do anything to stop the intense headache he's currently sporting. The behind of his eyeballs throbs and he tries to make sense of his surroundings.

Looking down he finds himself clad in a paper-thin gown, reminding him of those found in hospitals. A light blanket covers most of his lower body and there are two machines creating a chorus of obnoxious beeps and sounds. Junmyeon recognizes one as a heart monitor but he can't figure out what the other one is.

Bringing a hand to his head in order to massage his temples, it is only then that he realizes it's been buzzed bald. Panic rises within him and he struggles to detach himself from the bed - every step is a mission and his limbs feel as if they are on fire. His legs feel numb as he drags them, and he finds support along the wall of his room.

Just the situation itself gives him definite chills and for the life of him, Junmyeon doesn't remember how he got here in the first place. All he knows is that his head ing hurts and an ice cold bath would be really nice now.

However, he doesn't get an ice cold bath.

When he's close enough to the door, he holds his weight against the wall, listening into the conversation.

He doesn't recognize the first voice. "...not doing well. Her episodes are becoming more frequent, Dr, you have to help me out. I'm not even getting paid anymore, heck her damn parents aren't even answering the phone."

"Look Tiff—" Junmyeon in a breath. That was Yoona. Not the doctor that grilled him uselessly but the sweet girl whose smiles were genuine and who took care of him like a sister. Something inside Junmyeon stirs and he feels the urge to cry, or sob or scream or do all three at once. But he doesn't. Instead, he listens for what the other woman has to say.

"Yoona I can't keep asking Jungwook for money every time I need help, it's too risky." Something about her voice seems familiar, but Junmyeon can't put his foot on it. 

"That was one time—"

"—And I don't want it happening another time. No matter how many connections you two have, there will always be people wanting to tear either him or the Jung's down, especially now that there are rumors circulating."

"What rumors?"
