Junmyeon falls in and out of consciousness, catching only small snippets of his surroundings. The last thing he remembers is the dark hue of the carpeted roof and the low rumble of a vehicle. Everything from there is a blur of hushed voices, loud bangs and constant, constant beeping.

"I will not harbor a that thing anymore! He's crossed the line this time." He hears his mother screeching voice through the wooden door. A loud bang resonates through the walls shortly after and even Junhyung winces beside him.

"Oh really? I'm sure it was him who took my necklace. He's probably just as loopy as that idiot—"

"—How dare you!" His father's billowing voice replies, and Junmyeon can feel the rage dripping from his father despite the physical barrier.

A manic laugh. "How dare I? How dare I?" Like a crescendo, his mother's voice only heightens. "How dare you! How do you think I feel? Watching as her child grows under my care?" Another bang follows and Junhyung visibly winces. Junmyeon feels tears pooling at his eyes and fear slowly creeps in as he listens to his mother's screams. "You think I wanted this? You think I wanted to marry you? Well news flash for you, Wook! I didn't!"

"Then why do you care so much?!"

"Why do I care? Because I'm the one who has to cover up for you! I'm the one who had to fake a pregnancy, all because you couldn't stay faithful!"

"Don't dump this on me Soojung when you know you're not the innocent one here! I know what you do to Junmyeon and that's only what I've been told, who knows what other monstrous things you've done to my son!"

"He's not my son, I see no reason to treat him with propriety."
