When Kris finally comes to the dull ache that resides in both temples hurt like utter hell and his skin tingles. He feels like throwing up and his surroundings are unfamiliar as he slowly opens his eyes. The lights in the room are dimmed, which is both good and bad. Good, because he knows he wouldn't be able to stand blinding light for more than a few seconds without clenching his lids back together and bad because he can't make sense of anything. 

He finds himself on a plump, comfortable leather armchair. There is a small lamp on a bedside table beside another sofa to his right which seems to be the only light source illuminating the room. The most alarming thing though is the fact that he somehow feels familiar yet unfamiliar at the same; it scares him at how calm he feels and yet he knows he shouldn't. 

He is sure he has never seen this room in his entire life, let alone a room this big. He can now see that this is only a small extension of what seems to be the largest living room he has ever laid eyes upon. He can make out the outlines of coffee tables with lamps perched on each one of them and just as expensive looking chairs like the one he currently adorns.

Something about this feels very wrong. He tries to track back. This isn't Chanyeol's house, he knows that for sure and this is definitely not Jongdae's house. It is much larger than both manors and that is saying something. Kris tries searching for an exit but as he tries to stand, he finds himself scrambling for support from something as his legs shake and he lands atop the armrest of the second, three person sofa.

His chest heaves as he releases a breath of relief. The hairs on the back of his neck seem to rise on their own as he realizes that, , he can't walk properly. and his legs buzz at just moving and standing on his own. His arms shake just trying to support his weight and Kris does not know why. He begins to panic for a moment and tries to calm down by collapsing onto the sofa helplessly. 

He needs to think this through. He concentrates as hard as he can, but the blood seems to have gotten to his head because he feels like it has been stuffed with hot cotton and it absolutely throbs. But Kris is determined and also afraid and so he tries to take the reigns of this situation.
