An Insight pt. 3
Erased | KrishoYifan was caressing the leather casing of his journal. Yixing had gotten it for him after finding the rather embarrassing heart felt letters he'd written for Junmyeon's birthday. That was a whole year ago, and now the book was almost filled halfway with cheesy excerpts about how much Junmyeon's smile could light up his day.
He felt affection like never before when he was with Junmyeon. It wasn't that he was heartless, but he wasn't exactly the warmest either. However, when he thought back to it, he never really believed in love or the concept of submitting yourself to another being so willingly. But here he was, doing the exact thing. Pouring his heart out onto the parchment within the book was something he'd never tell anyone, except for his (annoying) little brother.
He was at Junmyeon's house, waiting in the bedroom whilst the other retrieved snacks from his kitchen. There were maids at their service, but Junmyeon said he'd wanted to bring it in himself. So, there he was sitting atop his boyfriend's much too large bed, holding one of his most treasured belongings. Today was a special day - it was their one year anniversary - May 15th. And Yifan was getting giddy by the second.
He waited for a few more minutes after deciding that it'd been too long. Stuffing the journal into his jacket pocket, Yifan scrambled to his feet and left the room, waving to the maids as he passed by - they all knew him well enough not to be too formal with him. He trailed down the stairs, quiet as he went, and allowed his hand to smooth over the railing of the spiral case.
