Chapter | 25
Erased | KrishoChanyeol felt strange today and he couldn't stay focused. After a dragged out interval of munching on disgusting dry ramen whilst having to tolerate Jongdae and Minseok being disgusting, Chanyeol was in a terrible mood. Eyebrows drawn in a constant frown, Chanyeol was sure to explode any moment.
To make things worse, Kris wasn't around and wasn't answering any of his texts. This resulted in Chanyeol doubling over with frustration, annoyance, and concern for his friend whose absence had yet to be explained. What made him even more furious was the fact that he had tried to make it clear that something was obviously wrong with Kris, neither Jongdae or Minseok paid attention to him.
Hands shoved into his pockets, Chanyeol drew a long breath before settling into his next class. It was a study period for them as finals had already started and Chanyeol couldn't be more grateful. He needed this time to himself to think and to just let it out. It would have been better with Kris by his side but Chanyeol could do for now.
Other than his friend's unexplained absence, he had another person on his mind.
Jongdae.
Chanyeol knew for a long time that he'd liked Jongdae but had never openly expressed it for several reasons. First of all, he knew his family would never approve of him loving a man and second, they'd been friends for as long as Chanyeol could remember; he couldn't ruin what they had because of some stupid crush of his.
And besides, Chanyeol was harboring feelings for a taken guy. Even though he didn't like Minseok, Jongdae seemed somewhat content with his relationship and as long as his best friend was satisfied, the rest was really none of Chanyeol's business. With that being said though, Chanyeol didn't like Minseok or the bad vibe he was giving.
Heck, Jongdae may have been a sort of playboy but he was purer than most these days and if Minseok ever came close to hurting him, Chanyeol would not hesitate to give him a piece of his messed up mind. Grunting, Chanyeol tried hard not to drown himself with these pent-up frustrations.
It was a waste of ing time.

Junmyeon woke up late. It was definitely a first and there was definitely something wrong. Dragging himself from his bed, Junmyeon checked his clock once again and found that school had started over an hour ago and that no one had even bothered to wake him or rush him into a car. Something felt so very very wrong and his stomach did not set well.
Even though he was inside his own home, Junmyeon pulled on a jacket and with careful, light footsteps, crept into the hallway and down the staircase towards the foyer. The house felt much too empty and none of the assistants or cleaners were around although it was almost eleven o'clock an
