Junmyeon only wanted to buy a muffin in peace. Instead, he somehow had Jongin in thread following him around the mall. He'd visited the office building cafe to get a muffine, giving Soonkyu a curt nod as trailed out. However, just as he was stepping out the doors, he felt a tugging at his pants and looked down to find wide eyes staring at him. Junmyeon wasn't even sure if the kid was allowed to be with him (acutally, no, he knew the kid wasn't supposed to be there), but he couldn't seem to shake him. Every time he tried to drag the kid back to the day care centre, he'd kick and scream and Junmyeon honestly wished he'd had a tranquilizer.

So, there he was with a four year old in tow, holding his hand because he was not going to lose a child today. The original plan was to go home, but his driver probably wasn't going to let Jongin into the car. Junmyeon ended up sneaking out through the back of the office building and visiting a mall downtown instead. Jongin was bouncing excitedly and just would shut up. 

"Mummy never takes me to the mall, she's too busy at home, I'm so glad you could take me mister!" Junmyeon looks down to find the other grinning at him and he sighs dejectedly. 

"Didn't your parents ever tell you not to trust strangers?"

Jongin frowns. "I don't have a daddy and mummy doesn't talk much, but I have a grown up person in the house who looks after my mummy sometimes."

Junmyeon stops in his tracks and pulls Jongin to the side. Bobbing down, hands on the other's shoulders, Junmyeon asks. "Who do you live with?"

"Tiffany noona and mummy! Three of us!" The boy holds up three fingers and Junmyeon can only furrow his eyebrows. 

"Jongin, I need you to be honest with me. Is your mother sick?"

Jongin tilts his head and raises an eyebrow. "Sick? I don't know. She doesn't cough or anything." 

Junmyeon decides not to push anymore and instead, only stands and takes the other's hand. They begin to walk and Jongin asks. "Where are we going?"

"How does Ice cream sound?"

Two hours later and Junmyeon has a tired Jongin on his shoulders, walking back to the day care. He doesn't know how he's going to explain himself. He thought of making something up like, "I found him at the mall and saw his daycare badge." Although, he's not sure if the daycare hours are allready over. Junmyeon is anxious and he knows he could be in so much trouble. But, he lost track of time after Jongin dragged him into countless toy stores and arcades. Junmyeon doesn't know how the other could have so much energy in him. 

Jongin doesn't talk much on their walk and Junmyeon knows that the kid is tired out.
