it’s a fight

because

“-but I did.”

Woojin looked at Jihoon in the eyes, and they stared at each other as if they saw an angel. They knew that they liked each other and they couldn’t help but to fall for each other as every second passed by. Staring into each other’s eyes, they fell deeper in love as the moment went by.

Their hearts were tugging at their chest, because they just needed each other. And for once, Jihoon didn’t think.

He quickly leaned in and closed the gap between them, filling each other with excitement and love. As love passed through every nerve in their body, it ended quickly as Woojin pulled away, shocked from what Jihoon did. Jihoon quickly turned incredibly red and turned away from the blushing Woojin.

“Woojin, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what got into-“

And just like Jihoon, Woojin leaned towards him and filled each other with that same excitement and love. Although Jihoon was still tense, he softened up to the softness of Woojin’s lips. Although their kiss wasn’t too passionate and it didn’t last long, it was out of pure love, and that was enough for the two boys.

Jihoon smiled shyly to himself after they pulled away and couldn’t help but to get even more red than before. For the man of his dreams, wasn’t a dream anymore and boy, was he excited that this was the reality. However, after gathering up the confidence to look up again, he realized that Woojin was crying.

Concerned, Jihoon opened his mouth to ask Woojin what was wrong and if it was his fault before Woojin cut him off saying, “It’s not you. Well, technically it is, but it’s just that I’m so happy. I’ve been in love with you for years, always thinking it was one-sided and I had no chance, but now, it’s not so one-sided. And I don’t know, but that makes me kind of happy. You, know?”

Jihoon smiled sheepishly at Woojin as he said to him, “It was never one-sided. Come to think of it, every relationship I had after we broke up ended because of you. I kept imagining you in the person I was dating, so even though it seemed I was over you, I really wasn’t. Woojin, did you know you drive me crazy? I can’t ever stop thinking about you all the time and it drove me crazy that you weren’t mine. So please, will you be mine?”

And as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.

—————————————————————

Jihoon and Woojin started to walk along the water, hand in hand, getting sand stuck on their feet, and getting the bottom of their pants completely soaked in the salty water of the ocean. Although they walked in silence, they couldn’t be happier. The air was filled with their love, and that was loud enough for them. But of course, they were still boys.

Woojin, who was walking on the side closer to the water, quickly used his foot to kick water all over Jihoon.

“Yah! You piece of ! You got me all wet!”

Woojin couldn’t help but to laugh hysterically as he winked at Jihoon saying, “I could’ve done that without splashing water all over you,” which only resulted in Jihoon trying to get his revenge. So there they were, two nineteen year old guys running down the beach, screaming as they tried to get each other soaked. Very mature.

But of course, they couldn’t be more content. Although after their water war, they were both soaked in salt water, their presence kept each other warm. They were able to freely love each other publicly, and neither of them cared if anyone saw them. However, their night was coming to an end, and they decided to walk back to Jihoon’s apartment first for coffee (a/n: nothing else, I’m sorry to you hard stans lol).

—————————————————————

After getting towels for both of them, Jihoon quickly went to the kitchen to get make them coffee as Woojin watched from the counter.

“Wow, it’s kind of like a cafe love story where I fall in love with the attractive barista,” Woojin said as he smirked, leaning over the counter to get closer to Jihoon. Jihoon just laughed at him before saying, “Well that wouldn’t make sense since you were in love even before.”

“Hey! It was supposed to be cute! You’re no fun,” Woojin said cutely, pouting. Jihoon quietly stifled his laughter before getting startled by his vibrating phone. He was especially glad it vibrated because his phone was in his pocket during their water fight at the beach. He smiled at his phone before picking up and replying cutely.

Woojin felt a little pang of jealousy when he heard Jihoon be so excited to talk to someone. Like who made Jihoon that happy?

Although Woojin was trying his best to not overreact, he didn’t seem to notice when Jihoon’s face turned somber and dull. Not even until Jihoon spoke to him that Woojin noticed something was wrong with Jihoon.

“Woojin?” Jihoon said slowly.

“Jihoon? Are you okay? What happened? Who was that?” he answered, face full of concern, no longer having any traces of jealousy and greed.

“It’s Hyein.”
