Exposure 14 (Jenlisa + Chaesoo)
Black to the PinkJennie’s POV.
“Wow, Lisa, your room looks much better than usual.” Chaeyoung exclaimed. “Usually we have to spend half a day to clean before we could do anything.”
“Chaeng.” Lisa pouted, pulling Chaeyoung’s arm.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop.” Chaeyoung smiled. “I have printed the lyrics here. Let’s start.”
“Uhm. Let me set things up.” Lisa said, rummaging through her storage closet.
“Set up?” I asked.
“Microphones and speakers. She has really high-quality microphones that can be used in studio.”
“She has microphones and speakers? Err… why? To sing karaoke?”
“Who knows?” Chaeyoung shrugged. “She has tons of weird stuffs. Sometimes, it’s for building robots. Other times, it’s for making waffles. After a while, I just stop asking and roll with it. I’m not even surprised if she has military-grade rocket launcher in there.”
“I heard that.” Lisa said. “It’ll take just a sec.”
Few minutes later.
“Alright, done. We’re good to go.”
“Great.” Chaeyoung nodded. “Let’s do solo first. Everyone will sing it solo once. Then we will pick out parts and then try to harmonize.”
“Sounds good.”
“I’ll go first then.” Jisoo volunteered.
I’ve heard Jisoo sing countless of times before. Her voice is soft, pure, and carefree, like she is.
“Awesome. I’ll go next.” Chaeyoung said.
Chaeyoung’s voice is unique. It’s powerful and emotional. I can see why Lisa said she is great.
“My turn.” Lisa steps up.
I don’t know how to describe Lisa’s voice. Maybe because I’m biased. Her voice sounds like white chocolate to my ears. So sweet, so decadent.
“Jennie. Jennie. It’s your turn.” Jisoo shook my hand.
“Right.
