Rose’s POV.

“Morning, chipmunk.” She smiled.

She always loved watching me sleep in the morning, when she waked up before me just a few minutes.

She did this every day just because I once wished that the first thing I see in the morning is her staring at me lovingly, smiling.

“Morning, Lice.” And I always smiled back.

Lisa and I are deeply in love. Jennie and Jisoo knows but nobody else does. We have to keep it a secret. It’s fine anyway, she can still cling onto me and people just think we are best friends.

I love watching her dance, and she loves hearing me sing.

I love cooking for her, and she loves carrying me around on her bike.

We were so happy. So in love.

If only life wasn’t so cruel. If only we had known earlier. If only…

So many if. So many could have.

We were in a group together. Now, it’s just me, Jennie and Jisoo. It’s no longer whole. We might as well disband.

We didn’t kick her out. We would never do that. But she insisted. She keeps telling me she didn’t want to drag us down.

It’s been 3 months without her and things haven’t been the same.

We had a lot of international fans because of her.

Sure, each of us have different talents. But that’s why we were a group.

We complete each other.

We were like puzzle pieces fitting together in a big frame.

Now, one piece is missing.

Now she doesn’t stare at me lovingly in the morning anymore. Not that she doesn’t want to.

I still sing for her, even though she no longer dances for me.

I still cook for her, even though I can’t ride on her bike anymore.

She pretends to be happy. For my sake. And I think she’s getting tired of it.

“Let’s break up.” She said.

“…” I didn’t want to respond.
