Jennie’s POV.

That night I slept soundly, excited for the next day. The first day that we are friends.

Friday.

I came early today. Could not contain my excitement.

7:00am. Nobody is here yet. I guess I’m too early.

7:10am. Class starts at 730, it’s only normal that only a few people are here. No sign of Lisa.

7:20am. Most are already here. She’s nowhere to be found. I’m a little too anxious.

7:25am.

She is here, looking completely different from the day before, as beautiful as an angel can be.

She usually wears uniforms to blend in. Not today. She’s wearing a pink t-shirt that stands out strikingly and a black short that shows off her long legs. A warm smile is always on her face, unlike the “get-away-from-me” vibe she had.

“Who’s that?”

“New student?”

“No idea. Maybe a transfer?”

“Hey you.” She said to me smiling.

“Hey.” I answered, smiling back.

She looks around and said to the boy sitting on my right.

“Hey. Can I sit here?”

“Here… here?” He stuttered.

“Yeah. Is that okay with you?”

“No… no problem.” He blushes. “I’ll just get a different seat.”

“Thank you.”

“Can… can I know your name?” He asks, still blushing.

“Sure. My name is Lisa. Nice to meet you.” She said confidently.

“Lisa… Lisa? You’re Lisa?”

“Uhuh.”

“Who’s Lisa?”

“She’s the one coupled with Jennie, remember?”

“I can see you are already trying out the new philosophy.” I said.

“Yeah.” She nodded. “Like my new look?”

“Well, it’s pretty simple.” She shrugged. “I just had to do everything opposite to what I used to do.”
