Rose’s POV.

YG Building. Dance practice room.

“Okay, well done, girls. That’s it for today’s practice. You have worked hard. Get a good rest. We’ll continue tomorrow.”

The manager smiled to the girls, bowed and left. The four girls, exhausted and hungry, picked up their belongings as quick as possible.

“What do you guys want to eat?” I asked.

“Chicken!!” Jisoo quickly exclaimed, excited as she could ever be.

Of course. I thought to myself.

“We just had chicken yesterday. And today’s lunch too. Actually, I think we ate chicken the whole week…” I said. “Jennie unnie, what about you?”

“I vote chicken too.” Jennie said slowly.

Here we go again. I thought.

“Lisa?” I asked again.

“Me? I’ll have whatever Jennie unnie is having.” Lisa responded, without a thought, with a smile that would light up the whole world.

I shook my head in silence, discretely gave out a sigh.

“So chicken?” I asked one more time, hoping that someone would change their minds.

“Uhuh.” Jennie nodded.

“Yay.” Jisoo screamed victoriously. “Chicken!!”

Chicken again. I thought. Why is this happening?

Of course, that was just a rhetorical question. Deep down, I already knew the answer. Jisoo loves chicken. Jennie is whipped for Jisoo so she follows whatever Jisoo wants. Then Lisa loves Jennie, unable to say no. And then me. I want whatever Lisa wants.

Of course, I’m the only one aware of it, while the other three are so oblivious to everything.

So that’s how this whole chain of loving created this situation. We have had chicken for so many meals that I have lost count. I used to like it, I guess. But not anymore, now, even the thought of having another chicken made me lost all my appetite.

I’m sick of this. So sick and tired of this. No, not the hidden loves, or the love square. One-sided love can be fun too.

It’s just that I am so sick and tired of chicken. Any other day, I would follow them. But not today. Today I am too tired to swallow down yet another meal that I don’t like.
