The Shoot
“I’m so happy that I met you. You, my love.”11 April 2017
Ji Chang Wook sat on set beside Nam Ji Hyun as Jang Mi Yung busied herself teasing the tendrils of Nam Ji Hyun’s hair.
“We will do some shots here on the deck. The feel should be fun and playful. Ready?” said the photographer.
“Yes, I’m done.” said Jang Mi Yung as she moved away.
“We’re ready.” Ji Chang Wook said with a smile as he draped his arms casually around Nam Ji Hyun. Nam Ji Hyun turned to beam brightly at Ji Chang Wook.
“That’s good!” remarked the photographer as the camera started clicking away.
Ji Chang Wook was surprised how comfortable he felt with Nam Ji Hyun despite the age difference. Perhaps it was because their paths had crossed so frequently in the salon that she felt so familiar. Perhaps it was how generous she was with her smiles with him and everyone else.
“There’s something special about this kid.” He mused to himself. Ji Chang Wook’s train of thought was swiftly broken as Nam Ji Hyun clasped his fingers in her hands. He felt his heart skip a beat upon contact.
“Seriously, Chang Wook. She’s a kid.” He berated himself silently. Ji Chang Wook moved his hand on Nam Ji Hyun’s head and squished her hair playfully. Nam Ji Hyun laughed happily at the camera.

“This is your first romantic comedy. How are you feeling?” asked the interviewer.
“I am very excited about to start. After today’s shoot, I think Nam Ji Hyun and I will work very well together.” Ji Chang Wook replied. “The characters Ji Wook and Bong Hee complement each other very well. The two are total opposites, but I think they can also show a romantic, fun chemistry between them.”
