“Ya, Bong!” Ji Chang Wook called out, leaning out from his car window.

“Ya!” Nam Ji Hyun called back to him, with a bright smile and a wave.

“Ya, Bongbong!” He continued. He knew he was being absolutely ridiculous and he didn’t care.

Nam Ji Hyun was practicing her lines in preparation for the next scene. Instead of doing the same, Ji Chang Wook cheekily tried to distract Nam Ji Hyun by swaying from side to side trying to catch her eye. Nam Ji Hyun looked up at Ji Chang Wook with amusement.

“Bongbong, remember to follow the script! Ji Chang Wook teased.

“So says the one with all the adlibs! Adlib king!” replied Nam Ji Hyun with a laugh, slapping her hand lightly on Ji Chang Wook’s shoulder.

Ji Chang Wook laughed. With Nam Ji Hyun around, the laughs came frequently and easily to him. Nam Ji Hyun really brought out the child in him. He never felt this comfortable with anyone before.

He draped his arm casually around Nam Ji Hyun as they walked the length of the set, holding on to their scripts.

“She fits so perfectly in my arms.” Ji Chang Wook thought wistfully to himself.
