I still have to think…
It’s just the same story(A/N) Hope all of you have read chapt 15 & 16 before this one :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yoochun sat on his living room frowning. He still remembered her mocking laugh after she patted his shoulder
“Do you think I’ll let myself get pregnant by a guy like you?”
She had said those words with such an ease that Yoochun actually felt hurt.
Was this the same way BoA looked at him?
Was this the kind of father he wanted to be for Yoobin?
All his questions didn’t allow him to sleep properly, but the next day he had to go to work just like BoA.
Because she hadn’t sleep well either and Li Yin was worried about her.
“You seem really stressed out lately….” She said patting BoA’s hand.
“Yoobin isn’t talking to me…and Yoochun and Jaejoong….” BoA said sighing.
“BoA, even when you feel like your personal life is falling apart, you need to focus on your work. You have been doing great and the design team has praised your talent. So try to find a balance and don’t let it affect what you had already achieved.” Li Yin said with a small smile.
But BoA didn’t return the smile and drank another cup of coffee.
And when lunch time arrived BoA grabbed her purse and ran outside the building.
This time she wasn’t eating with her workmates but meeting the only person she could fully trust at the moment. And when she saw him she ran into his arms and cry silently.
And Junsu could only pat her back and held her close until she stopped crying.
“I couldn’t wait to see you and talk to you.” BoA said wiping her tears.
She was older that him, but he always seemed to take care of her.
“I’ll pick up Yoobin from school. You should relax yourself.” Junsu said with a small smile.
“Take this.” He said extending his hand to her making her eyes widen.
The card she had now in her hands was a pass for the riding club. How much she had missed riding a horse.
“You had always said that riding a horse is the best way to clear your mind.”
BoA smiled at her younger brother’s words and hugged him again.
After lunch her attitude was different and she was really expecting the time she would be able to ride a horse again.
On the other side of the city Yoochun had a completely different mood as he was called to his boss’ office unexpectedly.
He didn’t know what the meeting was all about and he was more disturbed when he saw other people in the office.
But after an hour of conversation he couldn’t believe he had been chosen to represent the company during the process of association with a German company.
He was supposed to go to Germany for two weeks in the next few days to be presented to the managers there, an opportunity that he was expecting for a long time.
So after he finished his work he decided to celebrate it. In the past he would have chosen to go to a club, but in a day like this he wanted to see his daughter…and he wanted to see BoA.
So he sent a message to the said girl and started driving to his favorite coffee shop.
The same coffee shop in which Jaejoong now sat looking at his empty cup.
“Jejung-kun!” He heard his name being called and looked up.
The woman that called him ran to him excitedly with a little boy in her arms and hugged him tight squishing the boy and Jaejoong at the same time.
Jaejoong smiled at her when the hug ended and she sat in front of him.
“You surprised me when you said you were coming to Korea, Ayumi-san.” Jaejoong said in Japanese smiling to her and waving to the little boy.
“My father-in law called me saying he wanted to meet him again.” She said kissing the little boy’s hand as he yawned.
Jaejoong nodded and sighed.
“How are you?” He asked with a concerned look.
“I’m living because of him…” She said holding the boy’s hand tightly and Jaejoong nodded once again.
He knew this was a difficult topic for her, but he still wanted to know.
The husband of her ex-workmate and friend had died not long ago and all she had now was their child.
“How’s the newspaper over there?” Jaejoong asked trying to change the subject.
“Crazy as always. Everybody is missing you, mostly the girls.” She said with a playful smile.
Jaejoong smiled back missing her teasing.
But then she looked up him seriously.
“She is missing you too.”
And Jaejoong bit his lip.
“How is she?” He asked with a worried tone.
“You know she wanted more than dating you…” Ayumi said trying to calm the little boy in her arms.
“I know….” Jaejoong said sighing.
The last girl he had dated was a nice girl, but he didn’t want to take the next step with her without being sure of his feelings and before he could decide, the opportunity to return to Korea arrived.
“Did you find her?” Ayumi asked tilting her head to the side, knowing Jaejoong’s wish to meet his first girlfriend, being that the reason of his doubts to start a new relationship.
“I did….” Jaejoong started saying with a smile. “..but she has a daughter now…” He finished not smiling anymore.
“And the father?” She asked after a small silence.
“Not married, but still in contact with him…maybe she still has feelings for him…”
Ayumi looked at him for a long time before speaking again.
“Is this about her daughter or about that other guy?” She asked nursing her son that now was sleeping.
“Both…” Jaejoong said softly.
“It’s been a long time since you broke up…” Ayumi said and Jaejoong nodded.
“I know…that’s why I agree with being her friend and maybe we can start dating again…but…”
“Her daughter?” Ayumi asked holding his hand as Jaejoong nodded.
“Let me tell you something about a mother and her child…” She began saying letting Jaejoong carry her son.
And it was in that moment that Yoochun entered the coffee shop annoyed because BoA said Yoobin was with Junsu and they will arrive later than he expected.
And luckily for Jaejoong there was no misunderstanding as Yoochun sat in a table far away from him.
And during the time waiting for BoA and Yoobin to arrive both men had a lot of time to think about their lives.
Jaejoong listened attentively to his friend’s speech as she explained the deep relationship a mother and a child had and how he should think about BoA being also affected by having a kid at such a young age. How he should accept that many things have changed and don’t try to impose his feelings anymore and on the contrary try to approach that little girl.
Because he loved BoA, right?
The BoA that was the mother of a beautiful kid….the same BoA he had loved for so many years….
And Yoochun could only think about his new job and traveling abroad, but also about his relationship with BoA and how everything that was happening affected Yoobin.
Because he loved BoA, right?
The BoA that was the mother of his child….the same BoA he had betrayed…
Was it better for both of them to let go of BoA?
Will BoA be able to find the balance in her life?
And was Yoobin the one in charge of deciding the fate of her mother’s life?
