"Daeun ah, can you find Seollin? I tried to call her phone but she is not answering her phone. Any idea where she could have gone to?" It was close to midnight when Yoseob finished his practice with s, he was worried as Seollin has not been contact-able since early morning. He woke up to an empty bed to find that she has left home. It was only when he checked with the HR department that they informed him that Seollin has applied for leave, usually she will just tell him directly that she needs time off, but this time she did not.

"Yoseob ah, has she been ok lately? I've been caught with work these 2 weeks so I havent see her much." Daeun replies in a guilty tone. "Mmm I did notice that she was more quiet than she usually is, but whenever I ask her if something is wrong, she would just smile and say no. I don't want to probe too much into it, in case this adds more stress to whatever is on her mind. She was alright on the 26th when we celebrated her birthday though. " Yoseob tried his best to think back for these past few days, but honestly he was so packed with work that he did not have much energy left everyday. "Ah! I know! It's her maternal grandma's death anniversary today, oh dear how could I have forgotten about it? Foolish me.." Daeun suddenly thought of it as she looks through her schedule book.

"Seollin has always been close to her grandma, but she did not get to see her grandma's last moments before she passed on. It was 3 years ago when she passed on. I remembered Seollin had a really hard time trying to get over the pain. During that time, she was working long hours and taking time off was often difficult because of her strict manager. Seollin was out with her family to celebrate her birthday with her family which was few days before her grandma's demise, but she fell sick for the next 2 days, so she did not visit her grandma as planned. Her manager was mean to her as usual on the 29th when she went back to work, so Seollin did not see her grandma for the 3rd consecutive day. I remembered her texting me at 2.30am in the morning on the 30th that she was going to sleep and wake up later in the morning to visit her grandma. Unfortunately her grandma passed on at 3am but Seollin missed the call from one of her cousins who had rushed to the hospital to see their grandma for the last time after receiving the urgent call from the hospital." Daeun's words made Yoseob feel guilty for not being able to sense her unusual behaviour for the past week.

Yoseob leaned back on his seat in his car and listened quietly as Daeun continues. "Seollin may seem tough to some people but to be honest, she only shows her soft side to close ones. She has always been the crybaby among our friends, even a sad newspaper article can set her crying. Yoseob ah, maybe you can try going to Han River. She likes to go there alone at times when she needs time alone. Let me know if you found her alright?" Daeun and Yoseob ended the phone call and he drives off quickly to Han River.

Seollin sighed as she sits alone and looks up to the night sky along Han River. When she was young, her mum told her that after a person passes on, they go to heaven and be one of the stars up there. So there was no need to be sad when someone passes on, because you can see them when you look up. The stars are always there even during the day, they may not be clear because of the sun, but they will always be there. Seollin believes in her mum's words when she was young. But her grandma's death made her lose her belief. "Grandma, can you hear me? It's been 3 years, how are you up there?
