Seol Eun sits down on a bench along the corridor of the hospital ward. She has just visited her nephew in the paediatric intensive care unit (ICU). Tapping to her contacts in her phone, her hand trembles while she holds her phone and waits for Junhyung to pick up her call. "Hello? Seol Eun ah, where are you now? I went to find you at your office but Daeun said you went out after receiving a phone call. Is everything ok?" Junhyung's gentle voice makes Seol Eun let out the tears she has been trying to hold back while in the ward. 

As she bites her lips to avoid letting Junhyung hear her cry, her tears flow down her cheeks. It has been a long time since she felt such a heartache. Looking at her nephew with the IV and breathing support tube attached to his little boy, her heart aches for him but she tries to put up a brave front so that her cousin Eun Jung will not feel more sorrow. Her nephew Junho is only 4 years old, how can such a young boy be in such a condition?

The doctor has confirmed that Junho is now brain-dead. No matter what tests they carry out, the little boy's body just simply does not show any response. To the family, this is an endless wait. Whether he will wake up, it all lies in the hands of his fate. Junho was all fine few days ago when he attended his dad's colleague's wedding but the following morning he woke up complaining of headache and ear pain. Before the parents could react, the little boy lost conscious and was sent to the hospital as soon as they could. However, things seem to be bad for him. Even a glimpse of hope seems to be disappearing with every second that passes. 

"Seol Eun ah? Where are you now? I'll go find you now. Text me your location." Junhyung senses that Seol Eun is experiencing something bad from the soft sniffles he managed to hear over the phone. Wiping away her tears with the back of her hand, Seol Eun types the address of the hospital to Junhyung. It is already late in the evening so there is not much visitors at the ICU.
