Yerin sat on the stool behind the cashier counter patiently waiting for her favorite dog to come for a groom. Mango.

The blonde headed girl has always wondered what the owner of Mango looks like- since she has only seen her “driver” come by and drop Mango off. The only reason she knows that the owner is a she is because she asked the suited man before.

Mango seemed like it came from a rich family, she has always seen dogs like humans and sometimes her theory is right. You can tell if a dog is spoiled or not just by observing it’s behavior. So judging by how Mango behaves around Yerin, she was sure that the owner of this dog wasn’t that bad of a person.

And since Mango only comes around at least once a month, Yerin couldn’t help but sometimes miss the dog as it’s one of the most well behaved and loving dogs she’s ever encountered before.

Yerin received a call this morning that informed her of Mango’s coming, so she was well prepared for the appointment. She excited looks at the clock that was placed above the wall in front of her. Noticing that it’s almost 3:45 PM, she excitedly waits for the suited man to come in with the white furry dog.

But after a minute of sitting she got bored and so she decides to play with her phone. Scrolling through her SNS, reading updates that her friends had posted- the same thing everyday. Sometimes seeing those updates made her question why she goes on them even. Shaking her head, she locks her phone and places it on the counter table.

She decides to get a drink from the back where the refrigerator is located and leaves the store unattended for a few minutes. While deciding what drink to get she hears the store door open as there’s one of those store door chimes that rings every time someone enters. “Please wait a minute!!” the blonde girl shouts from the back as she hurries and picks her drink.

Coming from the back of the store, she immediately recognizes Mango that was happily wiggling it’s tail- Yerin couldn’t help but squeal a little when she saw the furry creature in front of her. She now lifts her gaze and notices a girl shyly standing beside mango, holding it’s leash tightly.

“Annyeonghaseyo” Yerin greets the girl brightly with a small bow. The stranger murmurs back a small formal hello with a returning bow. “Are you Mango’s eomma?” the blonde asks flashing her eye smile towards the girl. 

The girl blinks blankly at Yerin before shaking her head back to reality. “Oh- uh- yes, I am” she replies stuttering and Yerin couldn’t help but smile at the cute scene. “Well I’ll make sure to take care of Mango so her eomma doesn’t have to worry yeah?”

“Actually, I.. was wondering.. um- if I could stay and watch? I’ve always been curious of how Mango gets her grooming done and plus..” the stranger pauses before continuing her sentence. Yerin who was focusing on the flustered girl nods to assure her that she’s listening.

“My driver said you’ve asked about me before, so I thought I’d drop by and he.. also said that you were cute so..” the girl trails off and the last part of her sentence was barely audible as she whispered it. She looks up to the blonde girl who’s expression was unreadable, shocked almost.

“He’s a close family friend, tries to set me up with people sometimes. Also apart of the reason why I’m here instead of him, he’s weird” the stranger continues explaining herself with a panicked expression on her face. Yerin chuckles in amusement seeing the way she’s acting. “It’s okay, and sure! The more the merrier, right Mango?”

Mango sticks it’s tongue out cheerfully wagging it’s tail more, clearly showing that Yerin and her aren’t strangers with each other. The stranger only smiles at the adorable scene as the blonde comes in front of the counter to pet the furry dog.

“What’s your name?” the girl asks Yerin and she looks up before answering. “Yerin, and you?” she replies with a smile. “Sinb” the stranger simply answers with a small smile and Yerin gets up from her squatting position. “Okay, Mango-yah! Let’s get you all set up” Yerin says as she gets up and leads the way to the back with Sinb and Mango tagging along from behind. The brunette couldn't help but smile secretly to herself noticing how adorable this pet groomer is.
